Reviews of Machiya
Y.
Table was booked for 18:00 and we were running a little behind schedule. They were very accommodating by allowing us to shift the booking to 18:30.
The service was great. The food.. incredible.
I had the teriyaki salmon. I am not even exaggerating, it was the best salmon I've ever had.
The portions were a little small for me, but that's not a negative thing at all.
Definitely a must visit! 10/10

Cannot fault Machiya. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing.
We ordered:
1) Grilled eel - cooked in a rich sauce, balanced perfectly against the rice.
2) Beef niku udon - well flavoured, great portion size, great balance of toppings!
3) Karaage chicken - light and fresh, served with a tangy sauce.
The waiter was polite, friendly and attentive - food arrived in a timely fashion, and we were treated with care and respect.
We were also left complementary Nama chocolate which was beautiful! Soft and delicate truffle-like chocolate bites. They are made fresh every day.
I would not hesitate to recommend Machiya and will visit again.

Decent restaurant serving Japanese, mostly hot food, cuisine.
Went in a quiet afternoon, there were just 8 customers in addition to myself.
Ordered Tonkatsu. I had to ask for sauce as it’s not by default come on the side. Maybe they used to make the pork more tender and so sauce won’t be required.
Rice was quite undercooked so taste a bit rocky.
Overall average but a bit disappointed. Staffs are friendly and helpful tho.

The best matcha cake I ever had… I came there looking for a Japanese bakery that is in the basement of this restaurant but the bakery was closed. However, the nice lady told me they also have matcha cake but they are closing now as well so I could only have it as a take away. I was dreaming all days of having a nice matcha cake and a sip of espresso inside a nice cosy place so I declined the offer and the lady then showed me where else I could go and find the cake… I went there but they didn’t have it… so I ran back to this restaurant minutes before closing for the afternoon break and I took the matcha cake to go.. i took it and went to a nearby cafe Nero, ordered the cappuccino and sat down and wow.. the cake was so delicious, so tender, soft, moisture, the full matcha taste… wonderful! Thanks for the nice lady and her help!

What a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal and extremely fresh. We had the beef niku udon, grilled eel and chicken kara-age. The udon was delicate but with a deep rich flavour. The eel perfectly cooked and marinated in a lovely sauce to go with the rice. The kara-age was light and extremely fresh, served with a refreshing tangy sauce.
The service could also not be faulted. The waiter was polite, extremely helpful and very considerate. The food came in a timely manner.
To top things off, we were given complementary Nama chocolate (very soft truffle-like bites). They were freshly made that day and extremely delicate.
Overall, this is the best Japanese restaurant I've tried in the area and one of the best I've ever tried. I definitely recommend this place and will be visiting it again. Good job Machiya! 👌

Very nice atmosphere and very warm welcome. Be prepared to queue outside during peak times such as weekends as this is a small venue which makes the settings very intimate.
Starters: The pickled cucumbers were vary flavoursome, the white radish were perfection.
We then had Miso soup and agedashi tofu which had an amazing texture (soft and melty on the inside, and slightly caramelised on the outside).
Mains: The teriaky glazed salmon and the grilled eel with steamed rice were mouthwatering and my personal favourite dishes. We then had aubergine dengaku which a sweet and buttery texture due the walnut grating on top. Lastly, we had the vegetable curry which wasn't spicy but very aromatic yet well balanced.
As my friend eats meat and l don't, he also opted for the slow cooked pork belly (which he described as melting in his mouth), but also the teppan beef striploin which very well seasoned and served silizzling on a hot iron plate. Finally he had the gyudon with an onsen egg & pickled ginger layered on steamed rice.
Desserts: DIVINE is the only word to describe the matcha mille crepe and the white chocolate fondant mixed with matcha*.
*Matcha: finely ground powder of green tea leaves
Overall experience: LOVED it, will definitely go there again. Highly recommend if you want to discover traditional Japanese homely dishes.

What a fantastic little gem. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The menu is Japanese without cliché dishes, what one would normally eat in Japan, which is hard to find in London! All dishes so well prepared, fresh and delicious 👍
S. C.
The food was authentic but it’s not as good as expected. All items we ordered seem to be lacking of salt/ taste. The beef on Gyudon was dry, however, the egg was very rich in flavour. Agedashi tofu severed with too much soup/ sauce (soaking the tofu which came soggy) and the sauce also lacked of taste. The decor of the restaurant was simple and nicely decorated. The waiter was very patient and well mannered.
X. S.
Very delicate chicken katsu, fantastic chicken karage and very good and light beef udon. I will definitely be returning!
R.
Really good Japanese restaurant - Delicious food - I recommend book a table as it isa small place and it was busy - The person who seems to be the manager was very friendly, helpful and talkative - the Matcha brownie was really good and interesting. Definitely I will go back
A. G. P. (.
The food is good and so is the dessert. Both were first time for me. I give it 3 stars due to miscommunication between staff that ended up having other people gettinf our seat, and us having to wait for 30 min longer. The seating can be uncomfortable to some as it has no back support. Other then that we had a sake too. Overall, the cost for two people eating this and sake was 80 pounds so fairly expensive considering its just rice and a bit of eel on top. And we all know cooking and rice isn't exactly expensive.
E. F.
My husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try as we were passing by and it has now become one of our favourite Japanese restaurants to go to! The staff are very helpful and friendly - it reminded us of the service we had when visiting Japan, which is amazing. And the food was so good. I especially liked the eel with rice dish. The desserts are super nice too. Hoping to return there soon.

A lovely little place that does Japanese food traditionally and well. Cozy atmosphere with very nice staff, as well as a small bakery/cafe downstairs, though is a shame that they don’t seem to advertise it much and feels hidden.
Reason for not giving 5 stars is because the value for money is pretty poor in terms of how much food you get. Paid around £30 for one person and the amount wasn’t very satisfactory. Taste is great though.
I. C.
Amazing Japanese homestyle eatery. Small, but very attractive space with an extremely friendly staff. Food is delicious, with a very solid sake & tea selection. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a light bite or a full meal in the area.
S. A.
Great place to have Japanese snack food with a refreshing bottle of Beer!! The Machiya Wings are very hot so if you don't like very hot food you better skip it.
The Matcha Fondant was Amazing 😋😋
M. B.
Went in for drinks, really nice chilled out atmosphere. Loved the peach sake! Felt modern yet authentic. Fairly well priced for the area, I'll be sure to come back and try their food :)
G. H.
Simple and authentic, a great tasting meal at a pretty reasonable price. All dishes tasted great and there's a good selection on the menu.
The restaurant itself is cosy and there was a little wait for a table but it's worth it. Service was great and all staff were friendly. There is even a cool bar downstairs with very nice seating and moody lighting.
My only gripe was that the food arrived at slightly different times, but that wasn't really an issue.
Overall definitely a recommended visit if you're in the area and fancy a little more than the Japan Centre.
L. M.
The food is amazing! And staff is super friendly. Just a shame as food does not come together (over 15 mins apart for different people’s mains)
D. A.
Enjoyed lunch here. It's a small restaurant just across from Japan Centre. We're regular visitors to Japan and the quality of food and service was very reminiscent of eating out there. The Japanese lady running the restaurant managed to achieve a much better dining experience than chain Japanese restaurants.
A. M.
Food and service exceptional. Good value for the area. Great, appropriate vibe. Plenty of space despite being fairly small inside.
K.
Incredible food and service. So many high quality dishes but the wagu beef, spicy chicken wings and home made cucumber pickles were fantastic!!!
Y. C.
Matcha fondant is a must try!! Perfect blend of strong matcha flavour bitterness and chocolate sweetness. Don't think there's any other place in London selling matcha alike. From reading the reviews, seem like their other matcha desserts are heavy on matcha too, definitely will try out next time.
F. W.
Amazing food!!! Lucky enough that I don’t have to queue for long. Miso aubergine is super delicious, all aubergine lovers should not miss this dish. Traditional Japanese curry is tasty too, rich and creamy taste. And oh my god the matcha desserts are so good!!! Best matcha ice cream and cake I’ve had in London! Will definitely return 😋
T.
The service here and the staff are adorable they show so much care into each custome. Definitely a place to visit. The food here is soooooo delicious and not very expensive.
C. T.
This hidden gem of a restaurant has quickly become a firm favourite. Amidst the many other Japanese options in the area, with seemingly similar offerings, this one stood out. It can be best described as sophisticated comfort food. Hearty, but packed full of flavour. And contrary to other reviews, we found the portions to be more than sufficient- you’re definitely getting beyond what you are paying for.
On the two occasions we’ve been we’ve tried:
Machiya hot wings: perfectly seasoned, very satisfyingly crunchy, but admittedly a slight bit too on the hot side for our taste.
Chicken yakitori: this starter was the star of the show- it’s difficult to improve on a dish so standard in the cuisine, but Machiya dazzles. A perfect balance of sweet and salty, juicy and tender; a must try.
Chicken katsu: mixed thoughts on this- the meat and its crispy coating were very solid, but the sauce was far too thin and lacked the homely feel of the dish. Ultimately there are better options available.
Katsudon: the positives of the above, without the lacklustre sauce. Definitely would recommend.
Oyakodon: very generous portion, well seasoned chicken, fragrant rice- what else could you want?
Abura soba: this is an unexpected item on the menu that is truly enjoyable to eat. The noodles are surprisingly flavoursome, the pork belly is just divine (complaint would definitely be not having enough though!) and the egg yolk adds a creamy texture that ties the entire dish together.
Matcha ice cream: unlike other places, they don’t skimp on the matcha. Strong, authentic flavour, but the bitterness still manages to not be overwhelming.
Matcha fondant: ending on a high, this has been the best dessert we’ve ever had- no exaggeration needed. The matcha and chocolate create a heavenly blend that is further exhilarated by the warm, gooey inside. It’s small, and admittedly overpriced, but just so good.
And we hope to go back for many more.
P.
Great matcha Miller crepe, its a must-try. The rice is worse than Japanese restaurants average but flavouring is fine, meat is good. Good service. Price-worthy. Come early or reserve a table to avoid the queue.
L. K. (.
Another lovely place for Japanese-food lover in town. It’s located in a walking distance from Piccadilly Circus station. The food portion is decent with affordable price. Don’t forget to try dessert here. It’s one of the best Matcha-made ice cream and cakes I’ve ever tried in London. Will come back again for sure 👍👍👍
D. M.
Absolutely incredible food! Staff are friendly, accommodating and provide excellent service. The menu has plenty of choice though I was a bit disappointed to discover that the chicken wings are no longer available. The website menu needs to be updated.
S. K.
Pretty presentation but the meat was generally too salty. Two of us had a hair and piece of egg shell in their plates so complained about it. Got both of them replaced afresh but it took a quarter minutes that by the time the replacements arrived, our appetite was already gone. Bar downstairs seems very nice with jazz music playing in the background and I'd recommend for those who want to have private conversations. This place has a nice selection of sake and Japanese drinks.
T. K.
Nice Japanese Restaurant and very popular. Lots of people were coming here including us with Groupon vouchers and they had a specific limited menu for this. The main menu has these options plus more. The beef stew was ok but just like any other stew, there was nothing outstanding about it but nothing bad either. The chicken dish as shown in the picture was ok too but again nothing particularly special. Staff were friendly though, good service and short wait for food. Some of the Groupon menu choices you had to pay extra for rice which wasn't included.
A. L.
The curry udon I've tried was not bad. It actually tasted good and close to the ones Ive had in Japan more than some other Japanese restaurants in London. Friendly service. The price could be cheaper though.
D. U.
I had really great food here. The food was delicious :) I had teriyaki salmon and the salmon was cooked perfectly, topped with teriyaki sauce that balance the salmon well. I also had miso soup and soy cucumber pickle. The cucumber pickle had the right seasoning, a balance flavour of soy and vinegar. It was nicely refreshing. Looking forward to come back again.

A queue before the restaurant always inducates good quality food. Though my dish looked quite modest the more contrasting were the taste. Perfectly steamed rice comboned with other ingredients made my day. A helpful waitress adviced pouring tea into the bowl, tea invluded into the dish, which made taste even more unique. Matcha icecream incredible. Highely recommend.
E. L.
One of my favourite places in London. Proper authentic Japanese food. Tonkatsu is 👌🏻. Get the soft serve as well! Reasonably priced but you also pay for good quality!
Small and cosy. Expect a queue!
J. F.
Machiya is definitely the best homecooked Japanese restaurant I've been to in London. The soba and the chicken wings were both very very tasty. The matcha mille crepe was also perfectly creamy, rich, and decadent.
I was a little bit disappointed in the tonkotsu though. The pick seemed a bit dry, had two pieces that were just made up of fat, and the katsu part kept separating from the meat — those are all the parts you need to get right to make a proper pork katsu. As a staple in Japanese home cooked cuisine, Machiya has some work to do on their katsu!
J. E.
Visited here today for the soft opening, I like the space, it's a quite small space but it works well and has seating for 25-30 or so upstairs with a cosy little cocktail bar downstairs.
Staff were really polite, service was good. Between two of us we ordered a really good spread across the menu and everything was really nicely prepared and presented, I definitely really enjoyed the food.
I'll definitely be back, I'd also like to come a little later and spend more time downstairs.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend, its from the same people as Kanada-Ya and the authentic quality is still there. There will be queues outside here most days, just like there is at St Giles High Street.

Amazing restaurant 🤩
Food and dessert was delicious 😋. I highly recommend this place. 😉 Excellent service!
H. A.
Food was delicious and prices reasonable. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She explained a the different menu items and made excellent recommendations. The restaurant is clean and follows covid guidelines with the menu being online. My phone was not cooperating and the waitress helped by showing us the menu on her tablet.
R. R.
A bit of a wait to get in but once you do you’re treated to amazing food. Staff appear when necessary but are otherwise out of sight, which is good in this busy place. The spicy wings are notably spicy and great value to share, even the half kilo. The special squid rings were delicious. The katsudon rice bowl was a good amount of food - the dish overall was decent but the tonkatsu tasted too chewy for me. Overall great find in London though.
T. C.
A lovely corner in busy central london to hide in. The food portion size is a perfect balance. The atmosphere is also very peaceful n tranquil. Waiters can get overwhelming easily so you need to get their attention.
Otherwise a lovely menu that is forever expanding. Best to book as there sometimes can be a queue.
S. L.
Best matcha in town !
Love their matcha fondant.
Great iced matcha latte, curry udon... Perfect place is you like japanese food.
F. D.
I love this Wagyu Katsu at Machiya😍 The beef is so juicy and tender; the panko breading is light and crispy! It was fun searing the meat myself too! The hot wings and the matcha fondant were both fantastic too! .
J. K.
From the outside I didn't know what to expect but I had heard good things and it is right next to the Japan Center so they don't have any excuse not to have the authentic food and flavours. They definitely had the flavours!
The food tasted great and the service was very quick and efficient. We are definitely going back!
E. H.
I came here with 3 other friends and sat at the bar where we had a meal and dessert. I had the chicken katsu curry and a matcha fondant with a jigglypuff cocktail.
The cocktail was very tasty and the chicken katsu curry was delicious! The matcha fondant was amazing but left me feeling quite sickly (probably because I ate too soon before coming here) but was totally worth it!
Our waiter, Yasutoshi, was exceptional in service! He made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout our meal and went the extra mile to make our experience as great as it was!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Japanese food fix! Try to come here on a more empty stomach and try their desserts as you'll be disappointed if you're not able to finish them!
Thank you so much for a great end to our evening 😊
L.
Tasty simple Japanese dishes. Attracts a Chinese crowd so you know it's quite authentic in London. The matcha latte was very creamy and smooth. There is a hidden bar downstairs serving cocktails and drinks which was a surprise.
D. K.
This place was amazing! No wait for a table, small wait time for food, great wait staff (very friendly, helpful and approachable), delicious (!!!!) and relatively affordably for japanese food. Really enjoyed it. Definitely would come back again. I can not think of anything i didnt enjoy. please come and give these people money. We ordered the wagyu katsu, the ramen bowl (one of my favorites) and, the chicken rounds.
(Edit: Just remembered i did have one gripe! i asked for tap water but didnt get it but thats literally it)
L. L.
Cute little restaurant with amazing food. The chicken katsu was perfectly crisp and still juicy inside. Miso yuzu salmon was also cooked to perfection. The sauce was very moreish and went well with the salmon. Annoying thing is rice has to be ordered separately. Doesn't come with the dishes u less specified like the donburi. Price is slightly high for no rice included, but quality makes up for it. It gets very busy so prepare to wait.
V. I.
Great place, definitely in the top 3 hidden gems in London. Amazing food, great service, central location. The best part is the tiny cocktail bar downstairs.
P. M. H. S.
Had a beef rice bowl with miso soup and pickles sides. The main had a delicious beefy taste but the meat was dry and the rice was a bit undercooked. The pickle portion was tiny. Staff was very kind, and the service was quick.
R. C.
Amazing Japanese food with Nice and friendly staff. However, the portion is slightly small. Overall, still highly recommend to have a try, and the Unajyu and the matcha ice cream are the best!
h.
A small Japanese resturant with a simple select dope menu of great tasting items. I got the last Wagyu beef of the day and it was a interesting experience cooking it on my own definitely quality tasting meat.
The desserts looked kinda small for the price so decided not to get one but they looked pretty.
D. K.
We visited on a Friday night and find the food slightly disappointing (it isn’t bad but definitely not the best!). There’s a short queue when we were there, which is hard to find at first as it’s mixed up with the queue for another restaurant next door. The chicken skewers and tonkatsu curry are both surprisingly dry and tough. While the curry itself (esp the potatoes and carrots) is actually quite nice, the tonkatsu does not feel fresh or crispy. For dessert, we had the matcha crepe, which I was really exited about but did not enjoy as much. The layers are too thick and dry (it probably have stayed in the fridge for too long?), and did not go well with the creme because of its texture.
S. H.
Affordable and tasty meals in the city. Liked it that both the dishes were not overly salty. Not bad of a portion too. Might have to wait a while for table and for food to come.
P. B.
Amazing small and cozy restaurant near Piccadilly Circus. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is amazing and served quickly. We had the ochazuke and gyudon, both were great. The matcha fondant dessert was really good too. There's also a cool, speakeasy style bar downstairs which serve great cocktails at decent prices (especially during happy hour).
S. C.
The tofu was light and delicious, with a balanced blend of sauce, ginger, and seafood flakes. The beef, soft boiled egg and the rice in the gyudon was cooked to perfection. The sencha had great taste and aroma. Prices were reasonable too. All in all a perfect meal. I couldn’t ask for more.
Tofu: £4.50
Gyudon: £8.50
Sencha: £2.70
X. E.
Good place to eat Beef Wagyu! Everything was perfect. Just a little bit expensive. (but you should know before, it's the price if you want a quality) 💵 💵
K. Y.
Unadon and gyudon (eel bowl and beef bowl) were really fantastic, and so was the matcha fondant. Some other items were not nearly as amazing as the above, but still overall very good Japanese comfort food.
H. W.
The tofu from the summer 2021 menu is the most delicious vegan meal I think I've ever had. So flavourful and satisfying, and the staff are great 👍
V. T.
Seating is limited so you may have to queue. The chicken mince skewers with egg yolk sauce was really good as a starter. I enjoyed the katsu chicken for my main. A shame that my wife's main arrived 12 minutes after mine hence the average rating.
A. A.
Came here after seeing the sake expertise offered, sadly bar was shut. Tried the sweet potatoe (£4.50)seasoning was delicious and also a beef bibimbap special which had an adfition of mustard on top. Would recommend getting the original. (£8.95)
E.
Had Gyu don here because saw recommendations about it. But feel disappointed because the beef is dry (as you can see from the picture) and a bit salty. The half boiled egg is good tho.
J. L.
I love the unagi don!! The price is reasonable here as well! The dessert was great by a bit too sweet to me. Would come back again for the unaga don!
M. K.
If you love the taste of Matcha, be ready to submerge in the tasty world of it. I loved the desserts there so much that it is my No. 1 now.
P. B.
Been twice now. Enjoyed both times a lot. But deceptive on how much to order at first. The pork tonkatsu and the miso aubergine are both fantastic. With a bowl of rice to go with it. Good brown sauce and a spicey mustard to accompany. I do love this breaded pork. Right amount of fat, texture and flavour
Worth a visit for sure. Fills up quickly. Around £20 for lunch per person
M. S.
Delicious, had the beef bowl for my main which was flavoursome and had a generous amount of beef in it. Then of course all the matcha on the dessert menu. The best dessert hands down was the matcha fondant, so gooey and soft! The crepe didn't really taste of matcha but I'm not a big crepe fan anyways. The matcha softserve is very smooth but it tastes quite milky. The swiss roll is okay, but I did not enjoy the mochis. Not sure what it tasted of. Would definitely go back to try the other hot food and for the fondant again!
P. N. A.
Got to try this place out recently. Was a really cute place. Food is yummy and service is great. It's like great Japanese comfort food that is not too pricey. The dessert were truly the highlight of our meal. The matcha fondant and the matcha roll were so delicious. The sale selection was also really nice. There's a cute simple bar downstairs as well with some really delicious cocktail options. Will definitely be going back
D. S.
The service was really good. We ordered the Tsukune for starters and the Gyudon and then Katsudon. All dishes were really enjoyable although the Gyudon could have done with a but more flavour. The picture below is of the Katsudon with the Tsukune in the background.
S. L. L.
Purposely came here for the famous matcha desserts such as matcha fondant, matcha soft serve, and matcha crepe. Nice, but the matcha fondant might be a little bit too sweet for me. I will say the mille crepe is the best amongst all.
M. I.
The food was alright, it is very homely.
I would say this is more like a fast-food version of Japanese restaurants. When we went there, it was not too busy, but soon many customers were coming ( and had to wait outside ) the waitress then started checking our table constantly, removing our finished dishes, and made you feel like being rushed to finish the food. It wasn't a very delightful dining experiences, and once I finished the last bite of rice in my dish, she came to collect the dish immediately, so not too impressed at the end. I had to leave right away just bcz I felt quit uncomfortable.
J. L.
Simple flavours and food but impressive. Feels authentic and homely, therefore quite different for this type of restaurant - I really enjoyed it.
H. W.
Very good grilled skewers and the yuzu sake was amazing!
P. C.
Located a block from Piccadilly Circus, Machiya is a Japanese/Asian-Fusion restaurant right across from Pizza Express. Queue wasn’t too bad, but there is limited availability and can take up to 30-45min to be seated on a Saturday afternoon. Food came fairly quick considering the lunch time rush, and the staff was very friendly. Giving Machiya 4/5 stars because the meal that I ordered (Beef Bulgogi Bowl) was a bit dry, and the meat was over cooked it wasn’t able to withstand chopsticks. Ended up having to eat it with a fork since the meat was in shreds. Other than that, the miso soup was good and so was their homemade lemonade. A bit on the pricier side, the total was around £18-£19. Not bad for a Yelp! Suggestion.
J. N.
My overall rating for this place is : 91/100
23/25 for Food
11/15 for Atmosphere
23/25 for Service
34/35 for Value for Money
Unagi Don is always my favourite!
W.
Fantastic food and can be really good value depending on what you go for. Molten Matcha cake is worth sticking around for too
J. T.
Machiya experience is authentic without any pretentious aspect of today’s mainstream Japanese cuisine. You can expect a suited level up dishes along with their small but great matcha dessert
L.
Great little restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff and management. All the dishes I ordered were delicious: spinach, tofu, aubergine and salmon teriyaki. Recommended.
T. N.
The food is delicious but portions are small: only 3 slices of pork belly in the abura soba. The service is prompt and the staff are friendly.
h. l.
Had the oyakudon - comfort food! The miso aubergine was a bit sweet for me but overall i'd quite happily go again to try the other items on their menu! :-)
R. W.
Lovely little place. Came in around 5pm and was happy to see the place was already busy but not to crowded. Service was very good. Price was even better because i was using a groupon voucher. Felt very welcome nevertheless. Normal prices are also fair for this central location. Food was really good, full taste and ofcourse with chopsticks as your main tools :-) (spoon provided). Will definitely come back.
D. C.
Gyudon tastes amazing! Prices are reasonable for Soho restaurants. I also tried Matcha Fondant and it was really good! Heaven for matcha lovers as they have nice selection of matcha desserts
W. K.
Had the udon which was alright, but quite small of a portion for big eaters. Highly recommend the matcha roll though! :D
e. c.
Lovely food and restaurant. Noticed a bar downstairs which I'll be looking forward to trying out. The staff are great although evidently stretched with the demand. I also wonder how this compares amongst their competitors in London. Overall i would recommend this place.
J. L.
Had the beef dish was which was great and the staff were friendly. Would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.
G. K.
We loved the place! Chicken katsudon and matcha ice cream is the way to go 😍
谷.
We ordered the beef gyodon and noodles(forgot the name. ) very tasty and fresh. The ice cream is nice as well.
Price is reasonable too. Recommended.
J. A.
I was very pleased to find they served a good mille-crepe: my favourite cake!
L. J.
Had my lunch here after visiting the National Gallery. That gyudon and matcha ice cream were amazing, really authentic Japanese restaurant.
s. g.
Amazing food! Highly recommend it ! Tug who served us was super nice and friendly! Definitely worth visiting and the dessert is super yummy! 🤤
M. M.
To be honest it’s not so special restaurant. Very nice and helpful staff. Food is average. Excellent plum sake
B. F.
Great meal and love the bar downstairs! would benefit from a coat hanger though...but will be back :)
J. Y.
Well worth the visit. All the dishes seem to be beautifully presented.
I had the wagyu beef special which was special but came with a hot plate to cook it (I made the restaurant a bit smokey). I'd avoid the wagyu if on a date as a but fiddly but everything else is great
L. Y.
5 star for all the matcha desserts. Haven’t tried the main meal and will update once I do.
E.
Delicious tonkatsu! Udon is overcooked (go to Koya for proper udon) but overall it’s good!
S. P.
The food was delicious! Was not disappointed. Loved the atmosphere!
H. N.
Best Macha desserts in London! Price reasonable! £12 for a fondant & crêpe! They are absolutely delicious!
X. L.
my favourite london comfort food place...well sized portion, taste of home, every time leave the restaurant with a warm feeling
R. H.
Incredible Japanese food with wonderful service! Does food you barely get outside of Japan!

Great food. Love the beef udon. Service is also fab.
A.
Delicious food, with several attentive waiters. All dishes were particularly well prepared 💕
D. C.
Excellent food & very comfortable seating and service. Great place for meeting with friends!
g. L.
I general is pretty good compare others Japanese food in London
J. O.
Great vibe, lovely, authentic service and delicious food! The crepe cake was wonderful and different.
J. O.
Love, love, love the food and super sweet service. Especially enjoyed the niku udon.
E. A.
Very friendly and on point service! Food is amazing! Def try the macha cake 👌👌👌
C. S.
Great tonkatsu and I loved the mille crepe! Bit of a mix up with the order so unfortunately not full marks but was sorted out quickly and the service was rapid anyway.
v.
Excellent food, pleasant staff, and decently price by London standards. Do, however, come well ahead of time if not booking, as queues form quickly at meal time. Also not ideal for larger groups: the premises are tiny, and I would say that the absolute most they could accommodate at one table is 6. Note that, from what I could see, neither the main restaurant floor, nor the bathroom, are wheelchair accessible.
U. L.
Went here with my girlfriend in the afternoon to avoid the lunchtime crowds. The service was very good, and the staff do not intrude on you during the meal. Good atmosphere.
We both enjoyed our mains (I had the teriyaki donburi, she the katsu curry), and felt the amount of food was just right for our appetites. The pricing is also not too bad for London (as far as I can tell).
The matcha desserts were a highlight, and you should definitely leave room for these when you eat here. The matcha mille crepe and my gf's matcha roll cake both tasted delicious.
Would definitely consider a return visit if I find myself in the area again.
K. W.
Great Japanese comfort food in a small cosy restaurant! Authentic taste apart from a limited drinks menu.
I. J.
Cozy Japanese restaurant. Decent price with loaded food. Authentic Japanese taste. A warm lunch in winter.
S.
What a gem! Cozy little Japanese restaurant, delicious food at affordable prices. Highly recommend the miso aubergine, the miso is more on the sweet side, quite different from the other Japanese places in London
H.
Went there on Saturday night and as usual they were busy with 20mins wait. The waitress offered us to wait at the bar downstairs which we agreed to. Super quaint bar!! Loved the vibe there! After being seated at the restaurant, they took our order when we were ready. We only waited 10-15mins before our food was served!! Really surprised how quick the service was! We ordered the hot wings (which was super spicy but really yummy), miso aubergine, curry udon and salmon ochazuke. They were all executed perfectly! Next time we will definitely get the curry katsu! Their desserts here are to die for too! So definitely check them out! Definitely recommend if you are craving warm, home-cooked Japanese food. Service here was really friendly too!
G. G.
Second time coming to machiya, got the dried noodle with sesame dressing and a tonkotsu pork don. The Don was really good, with fresh egg and a nice sweetish sauce on the rice. The meat was a tiny bit too fat for my taste. Our waitress was very efficient and friendly.
H. M.
Giving this a 5 star as I think it deserved 4.5 overall on Google. The service was very nice in this cosy place, the food was tasty and wholesome and different than a lot of other places in London, though still relatively simple. Like kanada-ya's younger brother, made by the same people I hear. Let's see if it's as successful.
M. K.
Had a dinner with a freind. Freindly staffs and dishes are so delicious especially slow roasted pork belly . Highly recommended
m.
I like this place as it has some originality in it's menu. The molten matcha cake and tohmatsu are great additions along the wagyu beef. However, these dishes are not the best examples of these foods. They just seems like basic versions, and the overall feel seems more cafe than restaurant. It was a fairly quick dining experience. The main problem is the price, if it were cheaper then it would be great but as the prices are it certainly leaves you wanting. There is a cool speakeasy style bar door stairs, which looks cool but I came for the food. Maybe better for a quick lunch option.
A. W.
First place I've found in London that does decent Tonkatsu. Good food, quick service and polite staff. Highly recommended.
M. S.
Good value for money, came here many times, quality japanese food and the Matcha Fondant is the best Japanese desert me & my boyfriend have tried (he is Japanese) even in Japan! Just please serve it with proper cutlery and not the one time use spoon. That is not worthy of this delicious desert!
G. H.
My friend brought me here because his friend had introduced him and his friend had introduced him etc. Hailed by those guys as the best Japanese food in London, I walked in with exceedingly high expectations, and they were met.
The staff were friendly and the food, properly tasty. The aubergine had a silky, creamy consistency and was packed full of flavour and the pork was excellent. I was up for trying the wagyu katsu was sadly it was unavailable. A good excuse to go back soon though...
S. P.
Really good authentic Japanese food. Doesn't feel like it's part of a big chain or mass produced or anything. Portion sizes are really good too so you feel like you've had a good meal. I used mealpal there so got a katsu don for around only £4. Definitely would go back again
E.
Great place with authentic Japanese food at an excellent price. Service is fast and polite with a nice interior giving simplistic and home-y vibes.
On top of this there's a great hidden bar downstairs for cool drinks.
Price could be better for what you get as the portion sizes are small. Would reccomend the udon if you go.
J. T.
Incredible matcha desserts. Lovely simple menu and good service. This small place might require you to wait a bit for a free table, but it is worth it. The matcha latte is delicious - not too sweet, so if you like it that way it is ideal. The mains are good, but you can probably find better Japanese savoury dishes elsewhere. This place is really for the desserts!
M. T.
The most delicious icecream in the world sweet potato flavor !!!!! Good table service.
R. J. G.
The beef Don that I had was a little of a let down. Is it meant to be severed cold?
a.
Brilliant food. Reasonable prices for being so central. Highly recommend the wings. The bar downstairs has a speak easy vibe to it which was not what we were expecting given the ambiance in the restaurant which was a great experience. The service could be a bit better. The both times I have been there something in the order was wrong.
R. L. L.
The beef-don, waygu katsu and the aubergine are must try. Staff are all friendly. Well recommended.
D. L.
This is one place you can call London Cheap Eats and hospitality is a thumbs up. I went yesterday for a late lunch with my lunch buddy. I ordered of their Winter Special - Curry Niku Udon and my buddy has a Teriyaki Chicken Don. The portion looks small but that's typica of Japanese food. It filled us up well and the food quality - tasted just right! We had a good feed under 20 quid for two people. The main dishes don't cost more than 11 quid. Its good food for a quick fix in a nice, clean place. Its also a service with a smile! Definitely worth going back again on a cold windy day!
C.
Food was outstanding, the place to go for everyday traditional japanese food.
D. M.
Small, unpretentious (counter seating or small 4 legged stools at small square tables for 2, 2 pushed together so you might be elbow 2 elbow with a stranger (a very pretty young Japanese woman, so no hardship )). Menu not extensive but tasty and plenty of it. Good value for the area (between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square ). Just like many small eating places in the centre of many Japanese cities, and most but not all of the diners were Japanese. The staff were friendly and helpful. Licensed.
D. E.
The BEST Green Tea Dessert EVER! The Matcha Mille Crepe Cake is a MUST HAVE. Service was great and the mains were delicious too. Definitely a must go for a 3 course meal.
P. L.
Food is generally good. Staffs requires more training and have to be more attentive. Took ages for food to come. Couldn’t even get my bowl of rice unless checking on it for twice. No one comes take empty plates away and the tables were small couldn’t really fit. To be fair I’ve been to Machiya for lots of times and they used to be brilliant. However few recents visits don’t really impress me and the problem is mostly on staffs. The bar is superb and cocktails are amazing.
K.
Good food, nice place :) Matcha ice cream is life!
M. c.
Have never been to Japan but this feels authentic. Small queue outside and had to wait 10 minutes (this is becoming the norm in zone 1!) but the staff were very polite and communicative. The food was delicious and filling, whilst not breaking the bank. We ordered Katsudon, Yakitori and Teriaki-don. All were perfectly cooked and tasty without being over-sauced or flavoured, which can sometimes be the case with western takes on Asian food. The drinks bar is properly stocked with loads of choice of gins and other spirits. Beer was a choice of Kirin or a craft beer. Bonus - hidden bar in the basement! Recommended.
B. S.
The upstairs izakaya style restaurant is very good but the prices are a little bit high.
The real reason to go here is in the basement which houses a lovely "Speakeasy style" bar specialising in sake. The bartender is a gem of a guy!
O. T.
I visited Machiya during its soft opening period. And I instantly loved it. The restaurant is bright and open, with a casual but classy feel to it. I was quickly sat down by one of the staff who were polite and friendly.
As for the food I had the Chicken Yakitori, which I always enjoy. Followed by the Gyudon (sliced beef on a bed of rice with an onsen egg, cooked perfectly despite the lack of hot springs nearby🙂), and finally matcha roll cake. All of these were nicely presented, and were bought out very quickly. Very authentic flavours, a real gem in London.
They also have a cocktail and whisky bar downstairs serving a selection of in house creations and fine Japanese whisky.
All of the food and drink is very reasonably priced for a central London location, would definitely recommend.
J. Y.
Relatively inexpensive causal Japanese dinner in West End with a few friends. Staff are friendly and food qualities set very high standard. Cocktails in the cellar bar are a must to try. Certainly will recommend to others to try out too.
A. C.
Best cocktails I've had in London! Given the authentic Japanese heritage of the restaurant upstairs I was pleasantly surprised by just how good the traditional cocktails were (highly recommend the Smokey Negroni or Gimlet). The smooth, chipped ice was a great touch befitting of the elegance of the bar. I was with friends who had just eaten upstairs and said the food was excellent so can't wait to go back and try it. Highly recommend a trip - beat the crowds now while you can as this place will become a hotspot in no time at all.
A. F.
They will not seat you if all your party isn't there, even if it is only 2 people. There is always a line up and it is a bit cramped.
The saving grace was that the food was delicious! It was fresh and flavourful. The presentation of the food was on point. The prices were ok, but you may need to spend a bit if you want to be completely full.
If you have a big party make sure you all arrive there at the same time and be prepared to wait.
I.
One of my fav Japanese eateries in central London. Good ambiance with a great food varieties. Downstairs is a bar. Nice staff as well.
T. M. M.
Delicious, reasonably priced and great service 🙌🏻
A. C.
Visited several times - they are always amazing!
Q. C.
Machi-ya is my new addiction in the West End. Excellent food and very good prices are always a good combo. We are particularly addicted to the Miso Aubergine (incredible value) and the tofu curd. Also excellent are the chicken wings (careful, very spicy), the wagyu gyozas, the cold Udon, the mushroom teriyaki (omg) and the curry. You can't really go wrong honestly. It is really worth the wait and I cannot wait to go back. They also do mealpal, which is fantastic. For drinks the house cold tea is very nice as well. Highly recommended.
m. L.
Great quality
R. W.
I love the food and staff here. They're so nice and welcoming.
G. “. A.
Welcoming staff, nice place to quickly grab a bite or a proper meal. Restaurant itself is quite small and prices little high but can't expect more given the location. Definitely worth visiting
A. L.
One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in London. It offers affordable and high quality food. I always order the udon and wings.
M. J.
First pic was the one I had , and clearly it differs from the photo on Instagram
And by the way, whiles food quantity went down , all the prices gone up
T. N.
So glad to have found this gem of a place. Great food and staff - good value too for location.
G. S.
Super tasty food! Nice minimalist restaurant with polite and friendly service. Reasonable prices and good selection of dishes.
P. A.
Nice cosy place. Fast friendly service. Food is nice and authentic. Not too bad on the pocket either
D. S.
The food was great. Would have been 4 stars but the staff could have been more attentive, they didn't come over unless we asked them to and when they brought the wagyu, they could have checked if we knew what to do. Will be back though
G. P.
Very fair price for very good food in a lovely atmosphere in buzzy central London.
y.
Good food but a bit pricey
S. D.
Went in for desserts and tea, and found the best strawberry cake imaginable! The best sponge and intense fresh flavours. Plus the atmosphere was great! Perfect calm from the storm of the city outside.
H. Z.
Lovely dessert. However the Udon is a bit too salty.
D. S.
The food was great. Would have been 4 stars but the staff could have been more attentive, they didn't come over unless we asked them to and when they brought the wagyu, they could have checked if we knew what to do. Will be back though
A. G.
The food was good and the waiters were friendly and professional.
If you like matcha desert go there ! They have fondant chocolate-machta, machta ice cream, etc. It is a cosy place. I recommend it. (And I recommend especialy the meat !!!!)
D. C.
The food here is amazing. The price is reasonable and taste absolutely superb. Apart from the waiting time after 6pm is a bit long, you usually get to find a sit really fast. Recommand coming in 4s for maximum because it is a really tiny store.
Will deffinately come again.
A. R.
Good small restaurant. I had a wagyu katsu and it was really nice and was not too expensive considering it had wagyu. The only downside was that they had no desserts on the day we visited and we were really looking forward to these.
A. L.
One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in London. It offers affordable and high quality food. I always order the udon and wings.
Y. L.
They have a nice bar in the basement that I’m looking forward to try in future.
A. M.
Bit disappointed with the experience after seeing so many ads and promotions everywhere. i had pork katsu and it came like an italian cotoletta (thin crumbs and not crusty as it should be). Overall there was no surprise or joy though our high expectation. Sadly I have to rate this place as 3 star.
R. W.
Good Quality Japanese home style cooking. Not overly expense and very well presented and tasty dishes. Not your typical Raman Bar which is a good thing.
J. W.
Nice but not as authentic as it could be, not enough shredded cabbage on the tonkatsu and the meat was a bit fatty. The matcha fondant dessert was nice though!
A. F.
Shy waiters, didn't explain sauces or provided any sharing plates for appetizers.
Overall the prices don't justify the quality of service/products.
It tasted ok
M. N.
Authentic great Japanese food . A range of home cook meal dishes which are different from all other typical Japanese restaurant. Services however needed to be improved.
C. S.
The place is nice and the bar downstairs is super cool, but it's expensive for what you get and the portions are really tiny. I wouldn't go there again for food.
s. p.
If you need Japanese Food fix, this is the place to come but come with plenty of time and patience as generally long queue outside. Chicken wings are heavenly! So are the desserts.
G. “. A.
Welcoming staff, nice place to quickly grab a bite or a proper meal. Restaurant itself is quite small and prices little high but can't expect more given the location. Definitely worth visiting
C. Y.
Great slow cooked pork belly! Friendly service and experienced staff.
D. Y.
Great food and the cozy bar under the restaurant was such a hidden gem
F. L.
Good service and desert.
So amazing 😍😍😍
M. T.
The food was ok but staff was average, some were really nice, but some were not very attentive and unhelpful. The beef was tasty, but matcha dessert was passable.
S.
friendly staff but the place is quite small
V. P.
One of my favourite places for a great tasting dinner that doesn't break the bank! Service is always impeccable (been there 4/ 5 times now)
W. M.
Great Japanese comfort food for a very reasonable price (for central London). The beef Gydon is particularly good, as is the eel.
M. B.
Dropped in rather accidentally and we enjoyed. Indeed home style Japanese cuisine, and being a mixed Japanese / German family we know what it means. 100% recommended.
G. S.
Super tasty food! Nice minimalist restaurant with polite and friendly service. Reasonable prices and good selection of dishes.
H. Y. S.
Great Japanese restaurant with a decent range of options. Had the zaru soba and yakitori (both great). Highlight was definitely the mille crepe dessert.
T. F.
Lovely little place serving authentic and simple Japanese food, nothing too fancy like sushi and sashimi but you can find very good miso soup and tonkutsu here.
R. L.
Food is okay, portion quite small but it's tasty here. A small cute restaurant to dine at if you want Japanese food
J. T.
Queu was pretty fast. Maybe 10mins, so pretty standard queuing time for Dinner hour. Also, staff were pleasant and approached us at appropriate times. Food was reasonably priced for the quality.
A. J.
The soba dish is delicious.
R. V. B.
Delicious food, great atmosphere. The sweet and sour chicken and the stir fried pork belly is epic!
T. T.
A bit too pricy for the portion size, but they have a fantastic bar downstairs. Would recommend for a drink.
T. T.
Good service and great tasting soft serve.
C. Y.
Very nice authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price. Great for satisfying Japanese cravings, and good atmosphere too.
A. F.
Really nice and authentic food. The interior is nice and bright and the service was great. Really really amazing miso soup!
M. E.
Decent portion sizes and excellent food and service as always
F. L.
good Japanese traditional restaurant. the dessert here is good. But the cuisines here are now like home cooking Japanese cuisines.
E. R.
Amazingly tasty niku udon! Oishiii (delicious)
A. L.
Great tasting food in a typically Japanese minimalistic setting.
A bit on the expensive side, so not five stars.
L. V.
Really decent Japanese comfort food at reasonable prices. Love the dessert - the matcha crepe cake!
J. N.
Best place I've been to in a long time, polite & attentive staff, delicious food.
K. M.
Genmaicha mille Crepe was amazing 😍😋 First time I see Omurice in UK which looks yummy but the rice inside tastes nowhere near the ones I've tried in Japan
M. K.
Great food. Would definitely recommend and there is a jazzy bar downstairs. This place is very cool
C.
Staff was friendly food was fantastic and the price was fair what more could you want. I am sure to come around again.
R. H.
Great price and food! Ambience is simple and there’s sometimes a wait. Yummy though
H. A.
Great Japanese addition to Piccadilly Circus! The puddings are sublime and make Machiya worth visiting alone.
P. F.
Superb. As a Japanese newbie the staff chose for us and the selection was off the scale. Staff were charming and extremely helpful. Cannot recommend too highly.
A. R.
Really cute little place serving bright, tasty Japanese dishes. The staff are lovely, too.
K. F.
Wonderful meal, delicious, particularly loved the starters / small plates. Only negative = stools instead of chairs, not great for the back!
J. M.
Small Japanese spot. Food was on point and pretty delicious. Recommend this stop of you're nearby. Be prepared to wait a while.
L. P.
Probably the best unaju in London.
H. ハ.
Japanese food at a decent enough price!👍
Great little place to go to for 1 - 4 people
K. H.
Wagyu Katsu is superb. Next time I will try to have a cocktail downstairs.
F. G.
Don't miss their matcha fondant, it's amazing.
N. G.
Very tasty food and great service - we've had a lot of questions about the menu and got all the answers thanks to Chantje, who works there :)
P. A.
Nice cosy place. Fast friendly service. Food is nice and authentic. Not too bad on the pocket either
M. M.
A great Japanese food spot which is bit hidden! Nice basement bar and a great food menu.
M. B.
Good and authentic Japanese food. Would definitely come back, even if not my favourite Japanese place.
P. K. (.
Wagyu Beef was outstanding, best beef I had in my life! Fast great service, would suggest to everyone, and great price.

Some of the food is spectacular some not so much but overall would recommend.
S. K.

M. E. A.
overall pleasing experience, loved the chicken Yakatori and the Yuzu Soufflé cake

B. K. S.
Authentic Japanese food. Portion a little small.
A. R.
Just ok. Nothing special, but not bad either.
T. C.
Stumbled across this place whilst looking for a quick bite to eat. Despite it being a Saturday night, they found us a table straight away and were very accommodating. The food was suprisingly good, definitely recommend the pork tonkatsu. Not something I would usually order as I find it can be a little dry, but the pork was satisfyingly succulent. Can't wait to come back again.

This Japanese cuisine is not bad.
But I don't know if we are coming too early.
I would like to order some beef.
But said that the beef has not been processed well (?!)
I don't know how long it will take
It takes at least 30 minutes. If it is slow, it may take an hour or two.
Something that is very disappointing to us
-
👉tofu salad - £5
Salad is a bit bitter but refreshing
Tofu is very tender
The sauce is using sesame sauce but I feel a bit leeches
-
👉unajyu - £18
Chinese is squid rice
The squid is very sweet!
The feeling of entrance is super happiness (˶ ̅᷄ −̫ ̅᷅˵)
But a little too salty
But Japanese friends say it is very good.
The egg next to it is another point.
-
👉katsudon - £12
Pork chop is not firewood
Although the skin is wet, but the sauce is delicious.
And there won't be a feeling of wet and broken
This won't feel too salty
-
👉chicken teriyaki don - £10
The sauce is mayonnaise
Chicken is also very tender and sweet.
But I think the overall taste is a bit salty.
Mayonnaise is a little too much
-
👉matcha soft serve ice cream - £4
It tastes good, not too sweet.
But I think it can be smoother again.
The feeling of ice is a bit too much. The feeling of crushing ice
-
👉matcha mille crepe - £5
Matcha cake is super delicious
Layer by layer is very clear
It’s just sweet and sweet.
Cream will not feel very disgusting
-
Really good risk, this time with Japanese friends.
Otherwise, if you have a lot of understanding, you still don’t know what it looks like.

(Translated) Restaurant owned by the same owners as Kanada-ya, in this case with simple Japanese dishes such as katsudon, yakitori or similar. The menu is not very extensive, although they usually have several additional off-menu dishes. They have a wagyu katsudon (but not Japanese) which, while good, goes up the price a lot and is not worth that much. In addition to salty, they have sweets like a green tea strudel that is spectacular, and matcha latte with and without ice (in summer, with ice). The tables are somewhat close together, but the quality is good and the price is reasonable.

(Translated) The portion of the lava cake is much smaller than before, the udon noodles are very fresh, the wagyu pot will be fried and the eel rice tastes very good, I think the price is medium expensive

熔岩蛋糕分量比之前小很多,乌冬面很鲜,和牛的锅子会爆油和鳗鱼饭味道挺好的,价格我觉得中便贵

I came here for the fried wagyu beef, but unfortunately it was not sold yesterday!
The yakitori was a bit salty, and the pork chop 🥩丼蛋🥚 was too cooked. In summary, the food is not unpalatable, and it is not delicious enough to make a special pilgrimage, but it is a safe brand restaurant.

慕名為了炸和牛而來,可惜昨天沒賣!
點了烤雞肉串有點鹹,豬排🥩丼蛋🥚太熟,總結食物不難吃,沒有好吃到要特別朝聖,但是個安全牌餐廳。

(Translated) Japanese restaurant in Piccadely. I had a katsudon, but the thick pork cutlet is plump and delicious. It's hard to compare with Japan, but isn't it a valuable store in London?

Piccadely にある日本食レストラン。カツ丼を頂きましたが、分厚いトンカツがふっくらと出来上がり中々美味しい。日本と比べるべくもありませんが、ロンドンでは貴重なお店ではないでしょうか?

(Translated) Friendly place, super nice for a small dinner, a little noisy, very small, do not be afraid to eat next to strangers ... There is a little surprise to the bill, in fact it is not indicated but you will pay 10% extra for the service. For 30 € of restaurant, 5 € was for the tip. The food is good and rather at the right price against the drinks is very expensive! £ 50 for a small bottle of 200mL coca! Do not get fooled

(Translated) Japanese girl right next to the Kanada ya who is the most popular but it's not bad at all. And above all it is not crowded. Andalusia is always close by, but it's dangerous once I spent £ 70 for lunch ...

Giapponesino giusto accanto al Kanada ya che è il piu gettonato ma non si sta affatto male. E soprattutto non è affollato. L'Andalusia sempre accanto invece è pericoloso una volta ho speso 70£ a pranzo...
