Reviews of My Old Dutch
P.
I have to say that My Old Dutch perhaps make the best pancakes I have ever tasted. Now that may seem like an exaggeration but almost everything is perfect about their butterscotch pancakes. Incredibly tasty and sweet (perfect sweetness) and portions sizes are decently big. Not terribly expensive but definitely worth the price.

I first visited My Old Dutch in 1983 but as we don't live locally we can only ever visit every few years. Thankfully we were in a position to pop in recently and grabbed the opportunity with both hands. These huge pancakes (savory or sweet) are truly a marvel to behold. Our recent visit proved the food is as good as it has always been and if you are in two minds as to whether to visit or not the answer has to be YES! Try My Old Dutch, I am sure you'll love it.

Awesome place. Pancakes are huge and come in a variety of sweet and savoury combinations.
Go on Monday where they’re all £6

My wife has been raving about this place for awhile. She has good memories with her friends visiting this place
Nice chilled ambiance.
Price was expected for the location.
Ice tea was a pleasant surprise.
Caramel smoothie was poor, not thick enough, lacked flavour.
I got the chilli con carne pancake, which was huge, surprised at the portion.
It came with guac and sour cream which was a very nice touch.
Wife got the mushroom salmon, she enjoyed hers.
The sauce was light, and the lemon gave it a lovely citrus burst.
I would return, but next time i would like to give one of the sweeter options a go.

Amazing restaurant. Possibly my number one choice for eating in London. Celiacs, vegans and dairy free all catered for as standard.

Nice interior, friendly staff, service a bit slow. Had the pancake with fresh fruit salad which consisted of Bitter apple slices, halfed cut grapes, small pieces of kiwi and pineapple. For nearly £10.00 I feel there should have been more fruit like Strawberries and raspberries.

I had Butterscotch pancakes and although i hate when people say “You could had done it at home” my only feeling was “I could of had done it at home by 1/10 the price”.
The ambiance is nice, the staff was very nice too, but the food its not worthy the price. It not bad, just overpriced.

Oh oh this Old Dutch keeping us both happy with amazing flavourd of sweet and savoury flavours! Refurb brought space, light and touch of summer. The good old loyalty card offer still works even if you had it before the lockdowns. Long live the Old Dutch, will see you soon!

I went with my friend who had a hankering for pancakes- he wasn't blown away by the pancakes, but I thought they tasted quite good with a decent portion size.
The service was good, we weren't rushed away afterwards even though they were clearly busy as they have recently had a refurb which makes it look a lot more attractive than it used to be. Pricing was good too.
Menu was extensive in both sweet and savoury options, so I plan to go back!

Delicious pancakes, both savoury and sweet. Defintiely worth a visit. My Dutch husband gave his seal of approval, made even better with Belgium beer.
S. L.
Had lunch on Valentine's Day at my old Dutch.
It wasn't as good as we remember, nice atmosphere, but the food was nothing special. Smoked salmon & mushrooms was not great and the vegan option was a let down.
B. G.
Slightly pricey for what you essentially get but then again that is the joy of Central London. Good pancakes otherwise!
K. D.
Great place. Friendly staff. Amazing pancakes, would recommend.

Love this place! There menu specials are always on to keep an eye out for, staff are friendly and food is delicious

I love 'non chainy' restaurants ( there are just 3 My Old Dutch restaurants) that are competing with the big, boring, same'y restaurants as they always have something different to offer.
This restaurant was packed and we had not booked. After a very friendly welcome we were assured we would be seated in 10 minutes and so we were. The time passed quickly as we reviewed an unfamiliar menu. Sign up to their email newsletter while you wait and check your email before asking for the bill as you can get 20% discount as a first time visitor 😁
Looking around nearby tables gave us an idea what to expect for mains. Like pizzas you decide what topping you want. It is then arranged on a large diameter plate and held in place with pancake mix. Once cooked and finished the plate was brought to you. Do not be fooled. They will fill you up!
Nice restaurant. Well lit and brightly furnished. Statutory music was playing in the background so you could converse easily. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Happy to return here when next in the area.
TIP - where ever you are out seek out the restaurants down the side streets and alleys as they are often cheaper and run by people who are passionate about their offering.

Fantastic, a beautiful atmosphere and lovely food, perfect for a bite to eat before a show as its right in the Theatre District
R. F.
Love coming to this place. So much choice but had to go with the butterscotch pancakes with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, maple syrup and cream...absolutely delicious and very filling. Service was on point and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Definitely on my list of favourite food places to eat and could recommend it enough.

It was my first time on this branch in Holborn on Monday,14th February.
I find this branch more convenient as it's closer to underground station & quicker to get home.

This restaurant has always been a favourite with me, my family and friends. The refurb is good - new decor is great- fresh and clean. Only 4 stars because although the food is a good as ever, the horrible PLASTIC plates meant that both pancakes were cold by the time they got from the kitchen to the table. Yes, I could have complained, but all that would have got me was another cold pancake. Not the fault of the staff when that's what they have to work with. Simple solution - Just being back the Delft ceramics which not only looked gorgeous, were a feature of the restaurant, but were practical as you could keep them, and therefore the food, warm. Staff were lovely, very hard working and helpful. Milk shake was fab. Prices a bit steep for cold pancakes. Just sort the plate issue and all will be well.
J. H.
Very nice place to go for something to eat. We went on a busy Saturday lunchtime and the service was excellent and the food was top notch. The decor is very Instagram ready and the food was served quickly. Would highly recommend.
Z.
Upon arrival staff were friendly and tables were socially distant which is great. Sadly the only issue I’d say is with the pricing for pancakes. The savoury pancake we paid for was £12.95 or so which was ok. We did need to add chilli oil to give it a little flavour. It was filling and big enough for two people. However the strawberry pancake was small and pretty tasty! However it was clearly not freshly made but also the same price as the large pancakes? This didn’t really make much sense as I’ve paid less for fresh Berry pancakes and gotten better quality.
B.
I went to this place a couple times, usually for desert and I have never been disappointed.
If you go for a savory pancake, don't order the desert yet because those pancakes are filling! (and taste really good).
The food is delicious and the presentation is well done.
Service is ok but could do with some improvements.
I highly recommend going there, especially around Pancake Day if you have a sweet tooth.

We recently hosted a corporate lunch for 40 people in My Old Dutch, Holborn and it was delicious! Aaron and Andrew ensured that the team had everything they knew ahead of time to ensure we all got exactly what we wanted. Drinks came very quickly and food was fantastic! Would encourage everyone to try a pancake there, so good. Thank you team.
I. N.
Now, that's a pancake!!! Good prices. Good decorations. Good staff. Good menu and drinks. Amazing pancakes. Central location. They have healthy pancake options and a pancake for everyone, vegan, savoury lover, sweet tooth, etc... I'll come here more often as it's close to work and I want some friends to try this place. It's impossible to get it wrong coming to this pancake house.
D. “. C.
Went there a few days ago, had the poffertjes ice cake and coffee shake. The poffertjes were soft and fluffy and came with nice ice cream and whipped cream, if only there were more poffertjes and less ice cream and whipped cream. The coffee shake tasted very nice.
R. R.
Never been before and was recommended by a friend. Great meal and drinks all 7 of us enjoyed our time there. Food good quality and friendly staff.
A. G.
I booked a table for 3 in advance. The service was great, friendly staff and the pancakes amazing. Love pancakes and loved My Old Dutch. Hadn’t been for years but will go again soon. We had savoury pancakes (lots of veg options- also seafood options if that’s your thing) and then shared a sweet one as we were all pretty full. The bathrooms were decent too. Definitely recommend it!!!
K. A.
First of all very big portion!! I usually eat a lot but I had little trouble finishing the pancake. Secondly, not the best service, so don’t expect too much because all the waiters are going to ignore you. Seemed to be old place but it didn’t bother me. If you are with your friend try to share and make some room for dessert! Food was good but service not so much.
B.
Nice restaurant/cafe layout and the social distance measures were well adhered to. Efficient booking system online with friendly staff. However, the pancakes were very overpriced (£11-£13). I mean they had nothing wrong with them but they were not the best, quite mediocre, maybe a little above average. I didn’t get to try their sweet pancakes/desserts which look good but I would not come again for the savoury.
K. A.
Lovely pancakes and great service. Huge variety of fillings, so there is a huge range to choose from. It is a very popular place and booking is advisable. Would love to go back, especially on Monday when there is big discount on all pancakes.
A. M.
Fantastic pancakes savoury and sweet!
Children love it here the staff are so lovely and welcoming. We'll be back again soon!
M. E.
Cheap, cheerful and more pancake varieties than you can shake a Cinnamon stick (they also do cinnamon pancakes). Friendly and colourful, the restaurant is great fun for the kids, or laid back groups and of you can fit in in a pancake they do it. All in all definitely worth a trip!
R. A.
Amazing place for sweet and savoury pancakes. The place is located just outside busy Holborn station however the atmosphere inside is very friendly and warm. Ordered some of the desserts on this occasion and they was quality! especially the kinder Chocolate Factory Sundae Ice Cream Special. This place also does Vegan Free, Gluten Free and Dairy Free products. Hot and cold drinks, salads, shakes and smoothies are also on the menu. Staff are very friendly and would recommend for a after work treat with friends.
A. P.
This place was DELICIOUS!! I didn’t expect my savory dish to come out as tasty as it did! It wasn’t spicy in my opinion (however my spice strength is very high), but the flavor in the chicken and the chilies with the onions and cheese all came so well together with the base. I seriously recommend this!
We also got a sweet pancake and that was delicious too! The pancakes were cooked perfectly and Nutella on everything is always good!
Best part aside from the food was the staff. They were all so friendly and welcoming, always a smile on each of their faces. It’s so nice to see people who actually enjoy their job!
a. m.
- very busy and noisy ! cos it's a few days before Christmas I guess . . . very friendly and helpful staff . . . and food very good - unfortunately couldn't finish my pancake - it was very good but too big for me . . . but did find room for apple pie and ice cream - lovely ! goodbyes and "Happy Christmas" to our waiters - thank you for a lovely meal !! Anne

I had lunch here on Monday so almost all of the pancakes cost £5-6. On most days, pancakes here are usually around £10 depending on what you order. There are savoury as well as sweet pancakes. Portions are just ok for me but one of my friends who was with me couldn't finish her pancake without my help. They are certainly bigger and cheaper than the ones in Amsterdam. Tried different pancakes and all were delicious. Definitely coming back on another Monday so I can get the discount. Haha

A friend wanted to eat pancakes, found this place on the web and it is AMAZING! She was very pleased:)
Can't believe how large the menu is, plenty of options no matter what your preference is. They have a nice fruity beer and it goes perfect with your pancake.
It could be a bit busy, so I recommend you to book a table in advance.
V. L.
A pancake place fit for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wide variety of toppings means you can go any time of day and don’t worry if you don’t have a huge sweet tooth, there are also savoury crepes available. When you visit keep in mind that the portion sizes are quite generous.
S. Y. U.
Nice atmosphere and interior. The savoury pancake wasn’t too bad but I think I’ll stick to the sweet stuff! Latte was great though.
J. M.
Good food, reasonable prices! The pancakes are giant, and the ingredients of good quality. The salads are very good too. Don't be fooled by the reviews that say the pancakes are microoven heated, or the staff not patient. It's simply not true: the food is good, and the waiters very correct. Revommended.
A.
Best pancakes ever! Ordered butterscotch pancakes with strawberry, maple syrup and ice cream. Has a great variety on their menu both sweet and savoury. Quick service and great quality!
J. W.
Loved the pancakes here, we came for dinner the one evening and loved it so much came back for breakfast the day.
I can definitely recommend the smoked duck pancake it was lush and so filling! Cost £13.50
S. U.
Well where to start, didn't think I will get this happy over pancakes. They was divine and had a beautiful texture with a great balance between the chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Apple and cinnamon hit those sweet tastebuds perfectly. As far as nachos goes one of the best portions I've been served. The restaurant could feel a bit tight but the waitress was kind enough to provide us comfortable seating. The whole experience was aesthetically pleasing as well as delicious, will be coming here again for round 2 to try the other flavours from what is a menu full of variety and choices.
C. W.
Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and warmly greeted. There is a huge variety of pancakes (sweet and savory) and desserts.
I ordered an apple and cinnamon pancake which came. Was happy with the presentation and size though I didn't feel like it was a pancake. Too thin to be one and more like a crepe. However tasted amazingly good.
P. P.
Perfect spot to get your pancake breakfast, the staff it's friendly and polite. May need to way to get sited because it's busy sins they open ”10:00-10:15 am. ” good breakfast to start your weekend 😊its close Holborn and Tottenham court road station!
Have fun!

I’ve been to My Old Dutch quite a few times now and I must say my recent visit last week showed they have come very far in the past few years. This place is great if you’re looking for options that suit many different diets (V/GF/DF). We came as a group of 6 and all food came out promptly and together, nice level of topping on the (massive) pancakes and delicious pancake stacks. It was delicious (:
M. L.
Huge portions, great comfort food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was excellent. Exactly what you'd expect, huge pancakes with anything you can think of on top. Simple and good.
S. D.
The pancakes are wonderful!!
We are so lucky to go there on Madness Monday when every pancake only cost less than 7 pounds. The taste is like Crepe. We ordered both salmon and fruit one, which are all great. And the pancakes are soooo big which is almost 4 times as big as a phone. Service is good too. Worth trying!
S. N.
Excellent breakfast. Dairy free berry pancake with vegan coconut ice cream and maple syrup. Stack of 5 butterscotch pancakes with strawberries, blueberries, cream, maple syrup and extra added bananas! 10/10
P. P.
Have been here many a time... the food is great, portions are immense... and I would consider the prices to be rather high too considering what you're actually getting... but... it tastes so good and this time we came with our little one and he loved it. Service was great too... very attentive and accommodating. There weren't the best toilet facilities but useable none the less.
PS: if using the email sign up offer... watch out for the 10% service charge added on... we only really saved a fiver... which was the price of the milkshake. But still a saving! :)
T. K.
Amazing customer service, our waitress made us feel very comfortable and explained everything to us. The portions are massive and the Christmas decorations were extra cute and made the place even more homely.
Surprisingly the chocolate ice-cream turned out to be my favourite part of the meal!!
A.
Love this place! What a brilliant idea of a pancake restaurant serving a range of (and I genuinely mean a huge menu) of savory and sweet filled pancakes. Portion sizes are huge. You can come here for a meal or desserts and it's reasonably priced. The best is there Monday half price deal where selected dishes are ~ £6 which is well worth it! And if I remember correctly, they offer student discount on a certain day. Would come back again definitely to try the other foods I haven't tasted yet! They have halal options too! I really enjoyed the Salmon and mushrooms, but I think the best was the Morrocan lamb stew.
I. M.
5 stars for the location, service (both speed and friendliness), interior.
2 stars for the quality of food in general, plastic plates, basic coffee.
M. R.
The pancakes are delicous and there's great variety on the menu. There's something for everyone else and everything is good. The service is also friendly and it's got a great atmosphere. I would recommend trying a traditional Dutch pancake, like a thick crepe. There are also some off the menu things that are very nice like the pancakes with Ferrero rocher, oreos, Nutella and coconut ice cream.
V. N.
Perfect for a filling breakfast/ brunch! The portions are massive and generally quite tasty. The prices are slightly high, but for the quantity and quality, I think they are fair. Make sure you go there with an empty stomach, otherwise you might not manage to eat the whole pancake!
D. S.
A little pricey for pancakes, but great tasting food, friendly, quick service and made a spot for us without a booking.
V. M.
Excellent location, minutes away from Holborn station and walking distance to the British Museum. Service is fast and polite. Tasty and generous portions. Some of the pancakes seem a bit overpriced though, hence the 4 stars.
K. L.
Affordable and tasty, so all you need in pancakes! You will be blown away by the concept of savoury pancakes, they are just to die for.The selection of sweet pancakes is very good as well yet more conventional. The portions are huge, the place is cool and the staff is kind. The milkshakes are also outstanding!
On the picture you can see salmon and curry pancake. The salmon was definitelly my favourite!!
If you want to give this place a go, go on Monday as they have Monday madness were all classic pancakes are only 5.95!
A. X.
Good, not unbelievable, Hot Dutch pancake, especially as part of the £5.65 Monday special. Definitely on the large side for portion size. Service was bad on the phone (I had to call four times for my takeaway, and once the call was dropped).
J. T.
Have been here a few times over the last few years. Apart from some cosmetic changes (artificial turf on the walls etc) it's stayed fairly constant. We come back so it can't be bad.
A variety of pancake/batter based meals - a whole load of savory and a number of sweet options (both massive normal thin pancakes or the American style sweet small but thick pancakes). I do like a savory option (My Old Dutch is cheesy and has a salty kick from the bacon). The food always goes down well and there's something for everyone. The very young enjoy the really sweet options, the vegetarians have a decent choice; there's even a vegan section (on the menu, not a specific table).
A number of starters make a nod to Dutch cuisine though I'm not able to comment on their authenticity for flavour (neither ordered them here nor tried them in The Netherlands - soz).
The drinks menu has a good selection of fruit beers, bottled beers, a small selection of wines, the usual soft drinks as well as tea/coffee.
You can reserve a table or try your luck. Towards then end of the day as we left we saw a small wait at the door but it's not a massive issue. This seemed to be staff related rather than table - they weren't slacking, just a bit of peak demand. The prices are normal for London, £3-5 for a starter, averaging around £10 for a big loaded pancake and just over £2 for a coffee. There's an opional surcharge of 12.5% on the bill which is shared with all staff.
Conveniently located (aren't most thing in London?) next to Holborn tube, 20 mins walk south of St Pancras or 10 mins north of Covent Garden.
K. N.
Very casual dutch pancake restaurant. Sweet and savoury pancakes are available. Come on Mondays when most pancakes on the menu are 50% off. Very close to Holborn station. Quite an early atmosphere inside. Great place to catch up with friends and have a casual meal. Surprisingly quite filling. Also the perfect place to eat before a theatre show.
R. C.
Brilliant service - took my little sisters here today and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Love the new decorations/refurb as I hadn't been here since before the pandemic. Looking forward to visiting again at some point.
Thanks to all the staff :)
G. K.
If you want a unique experience of crepes and pancakes, I totally recommend this place. Tasty and delicious ingredients. I ordered classic with strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries and nutella.
C. E.
Cute place! Love the apple pie and pancake!
K. T.
Big pancakes with a lot of options. They also have salads and smaller pancakes available. I am yet to try one of their sweet pancakes so I am looking forward to coming back for more!
The service was a bit slow but the staff were friendly. The place it self could do with an update.
S. S.
The service was quick and friendly and the pancake was good as always and the best part of the meal was the peach beer.
S. W.
Visiting my old Dutch is always good. I love the pancakes, the selection available is so broad you can always find something you fancy. Portion size is big so sadly I've never been able to eat a desert after but I've been told they are just as good as the mains.
J. S.
Good variety of pancakes, both sweet and savoury. The Roald Dahl tribute pancakes were fantastic as well! Very filling and delicious, plus on Mondays you can get these giant pancakes for £5.95. Atmosphere is wonderful and the Dutch accents really add to the overall experience. Especially beautiful around Christmas.
E. R. M.
Great selection of Savoury and Sweet pancakes at a good price. Portions are very generous and one pancake is enough to feed two people. Decent service and good ambiance.
C. B.
It was my first time at the "My Old Dutch" and I really liked it, staff were very nice and friendly and everything on the menu looked so good I couldn't decide what to have, but in the end I ended up having Tricolore (from 'Lite Option', purely cos I saw how big the plates were for other customers) and my friend had Pear and Cinnamon with ice cream (from 'classic sweet pancakes') both dishes were very nice. It looked like a all dishes on menu (except Lite Option) come "American size" (very big) so if you're looking for to have a nice meal and don't want to pay for 3/4 course meal- this is perfect! I'm planning on coming back to this place for my dad's birthday, I saw few things on the menu that I know he'd love to try.
J. B.
I always love coming here and have done for many, many years. The food is always good and plentiful, the atmosphere is always good.
I do miss the old days of paying in the kiosk and seeing food get cooked in what is now part of the restaurant (yes, I’ve loved this place for that many years) and the menu isnt as extensive as it used to be - but its still my place for a treat.
Finally, nothing to do with My Old Dutch, but it made me smile....
Why do jedi always burn their pancakes?
Because they will not turn over to the dark side.
C. C.
Have always wanted to go here as I have read lovely things about it. The staff are very nice and friendly, the atmosphere is lovely. It is a great place to have conversation at. The pancakes are huge but nothing special about it, they are bland and the texture is strange. I was slightly disappointed. We had banana chocolate and apple & cinnamon pancakes. The prices are fair. Don’t think I would be coming back, but don’t let my review stop you from going. Worth to go at least once!
Z. D.
I've been here many times over the years and the pancakes are huge and totally delicious. The sweet ones are the main even in my opinion but the savouries are great too! They're filling, so I'd recommend sharing a savoury then sharing a sweet one! Don't forget to get one of their amazing Oreo milkshakes too! The place is let down by the service which always takes a churn-them-out approach (even in quiet times), which is a shame. It's not very personal or friendly, but it is fast. The decor is distinctive, and the location is great so that coupled with the unique food is enough for a great rating!
A. C.
Great tasting crepes. Some like it hot with chicken tasted great and came out on a huge plate. Place does get pretty busy at lunch time so come a little early. Look out for Monday madness price specials
A. F.
Excellent food and friendly staff.
My mum is Dutch and I miss some of the traditional foods from Holland. Was very excited to be able to have Bitterballen!! So delicious. And the poffertjes were gorgeous!!!
I will definitely be back!!
L. G.
Its a local goto place for Pancakes They serve both savoury and sweet along side a good selection of milk shakes. Avoid Lunch time if possible as food tends to come out a little slower especially if you are with a large group .
A. M.
Busy pancake House conveniently located in Holborn. They have some excellent dessert pancakes - especially the Nutella one. The pancake stack is yummy. Can be quite a noisy environment. But is tourist and kid friendly, and they really get into the festive tradition with special items on the menu. The ferrero rocher milkshake is also very nice, as is their milkshake collection. Great if you're stuck for somewhere to go. You'll not leave disappointed.
S. L. L.
Go for Monday Madness, all pancakes are £5.95 each! Delicious! I have been there for a few times already. Highly recommend you to go on Monday.
M. D.
They are good! Just like the ones in Amsterdam 👌
Went there on Monday when you can have a lovely sweet or savory pancake for £6 🤯
h.
Great tasting pancakes every time you visit! Go on a MONDAY and enjoy a selection of pancakes for just 5.00, expect to potentially wait a little for a table if you go on Monday due to the popularity of this offer. A HUGE menu offering both savoury and sweet pancakes. A classic savoury pancake is huge and can easily be shared between two people. Staff are friendly and service is quick.
G. K.
One of our favourite restaurants in London already, so I am delighted to be able to report that it is covid safe and clean, and as good as ever for wise! If you like pancakes then you will love this place, so get down there ASAP!!
E. M.
This is one of my favourite lunch places so my review can be a bit partial but I always love these Dutch pancakes with savoury fillings. Good service even during these post-lockdown times.
B. R.
Delicious
Prompt
Such a variety of options
S. K.
I went with a group of six friends about 30 minutes before closing time and I can say they have great customer service, they are really friendly and helpful. I asked for some water and they were more than happy to get me some, quick too. Our pancakes arrived promptly, we were able to eat together without waiting for us all to be served. The pancake quality and taste was up to standard as was presentation, I really enjoyed my poffertjes they taste just as good as the ones I had in Amsterdam which is what I was looking for. This was not my first visit to My Old Dutch but I know I'll be returning once again.
J. T.
Not my kinda pancakes. Rubbery and slimy. Others had savory and waffles - excellent. Fun place for sure, though - friendly. Service is fine. Prices ok
M. P.
Amazing savoury lamb pancakes
L. F.
Really nice place. It's a bit costly but it's still nice as a treat and the food is really filling. There is a huge range of pancakes to choose from, not just the standard sorts.
N. I.
Does what it says on the tin, really well. It's predominantly a student hangout so isn't too expensive. Staff are friendly and helpful and able to explain in a polite manner the more obscure items on the menu.
E. B.
We ordered a sweet and two savoury crepes, the waiter took our order and ten minutes later came back to clarify the items, and after 30 minutes of not receiving our items we enquired with the supervisor who advised the waiter had forgotten to put through the order to the kitchen. After waiting another 15 minutes only two of the items arrived and of a very poor standard, the cheese in the savoury crepe was not melted and seemed like it had been sitting under the hot lamps for a long time. We were on a lunch break from work so we had to rush down the food and leave. Overall the service lacked detail and attentiveness, the quality of the food was not worth the price we paid. I would not return.
S. J.
Thomas was a great server. Really attentive and explained the menu to us. Very polite and made the experience great.
Good was delicious! Too much choice of great options. Pancake was massive! I had a sweet and he had a savory. Yum yum!!!!!
J. M.
Had a great interior update.
Loved the bitterballen! Sadly my savory cheese pancake was cold-ish which I didn't expect (not sure if that was the intention).
Z. S.
You want pancakes on a Friday night? This is the place to go. The service is great and the menu is larger than life. The Dutch pancakes are divine! Definitely more than enough in a single portion for 2. They also have a great tea and coffee selection.
H. E.
This place is amazing and at least you need to go there once. We just happen to walk past this place when we were looking for a place for breakfast.
The pancakes are huge and really good quality, if you are a fan of pancakes you must go here. If not there are also many things on the menu.
Will definitely go again when in central London.

My Old Dutch in Holborn is located opposite to The Hoxton Hotel on High Holborn a five minute walk from Holborn underground station. The space is large featuring a ground and basement floor. Most tables are arranged to accommodate a maximum of four people.
The menu is extensive including a selection of savory pancakes, sweet pancakes, salads and butterscotch sweet pancakes. The pancakes are thin (resembling crepes), large and generous in toppings, able to serve two people. Unless you are very hungry I would suggest ordering one pancake for two. The sweet pancakes are small and resemble the American styled thick pancakes. If you are after thin pancakes order the butterscotch pancakes.
The service is very friendly and cordial but at times aloof. My Old Dutch is not cheap - at an average of £13.00 for a pancake - however it is a great alternative to more traditional meals and the silver dollar thick American pancakes normally served.
D.
I visited this restaurant today, i ordered Nutella Oreo crepe for my child & strawberry blueberry pancake for me as breakfast. We both enjoyed our meals and staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely will repeat the visit
J. F.
The food and place itself was very enjoyable. A prewarning, the pancakes are huge! I would definitely suggest one per person, do if you want a sweet and savoury then split it with someone.
The reason for the three stars were that dorm.lf the food took unreasonably long, staff ignored us and even when asking to pay it took another ten minutes.
E. K.
There is a huge selection of sweet and savoury pancakes as well.
The service is good and pretty quick. I visited the place on Moday at 6pm and there were no problem with the speed of the service.
E. F. (.
If you order scrambled eggs, be prepared to eat omelette. We ordered two dishes with scrambled eggs and both were as in the picture: omelette. Savoury pancake was not especially spectacular but buttercream pancakes were quite good. Coffee OK but not quite 5 star.
Please ask your chefs to Google "scrambled eggs".

I’ve visited My Old Dutch a few times now. It’s a great Pancake place to go to. Probably my favourite in London to be fair.
There are plenty of options on the menu to go through, whether sweet, savoury, pancake or crepe. My favourite is definitely butterscotch pancake.
Worth a try, a handful of times is enough. Good food, expensive for what you get but you will be filled.
L.
I have been here a few times and each time the food has not disappointed! The pancakes are delicious and prices are reasonable. My only complaint which is the reason it has been knocked down in my rating is that the tables are sticky and there is quite a tight space between each table.
L. e.
The staff are nice place is ok but bit crowded Italian and grace pancake was good but the smoked salmon was over cooked it was not smoked at all at was cooked salmon the original pancake with frites was average the size of the plate is too big it’s like ordering big pizza
B. D.
Oh my oh my. It was one of the best afternoons. I've been promising to take my wife to My Old Dutch for years because while at Birkbeck University nearby I frequented the place and had lovely stories to tell at home. So yesterday, I and my wife were in the area and she mentioned that I've always promised to take her to my Old Dutch....we had some time to kill so i said why not....She really enjoyed it and im glad she did...now we have to lool for a time to bring the children too.
M. D. B.
Very wonderful Place! I love their pancakes! There are sweet and savour pancakes for every kind of tast! On monday There Is a discount!
A. V.
Delicious Pancakes! We had a good evening snack and staff was really kind and helpful.
T. Y.
Really nice place but what made the experience even better was the attentions we received by the waiter Thomas. Genuine guy that deserves to be the manager of this place for how he interacts with customers.
M. D.
My Old Dutch is a wonderful place to go with friends and get really really full. The pancakes are enormous and taste fantastic. Don't forget to get a loyalty card and collect stamps. I don't recommend the fruity beers, but you can definitely go with a normal beer or a coffee. The interior is cool and in general you get great value for your money.
A. C.
Monday madness is great - most pancakes £5.95. Great portion sizes and pretty unusual to find a good priced pancake place. Food comes in around 15 minutes. Seating downstairs and high turnover of customers. My favourite is the smoked salmon and mushroom - great if you like a rich and creamy sauce. The savoury ones are more filling because they generally have more toppings. Suggestion if you're with someone is to get one savoury and one sweet to share.
A. H.
The crepes are really tasty and relatively big. You have a selection of sweet and savoury alcoholic beverage and some soft drinks. The prices are little bit too high to my liking but apparently Mondays are half price on most of the crepes. Overall a good experience👍👍👍
B. M.
Historic eating place in London. Simple but good food. Have renewed decor and its great to visit again.
A. R.
Great portions, classic vibe, attentive Dutch service and chilled environment. Best, non-typical-london-chain, specifically for pancakes. Definitely coming back.
D. B.
Great food. Top notch service. One of my fave places for breakfast
A. V.
DELICIOUS!
Variety of both sweet and savory pancakes. Though it took about 10 minutes to get a table (the place is buzzing with people), it was an awesome experience.
Looking forward to £5 #MondayMadness @ My Old Dutch. 🍴
Huge delicious Dutch pancakes #Yum
B. B.
Giant pancakes with toppings: what's not to like? Gluten-free available on all the main pancakes and the big dessert pancakes. Never feel like I'm getting less than or a worse option than the standard dishes and no additional charge ❤️. New vegan options available now too!
I've been going to My Old Dutch for years, and will carry on visiting for years to come.
A. W. R.
Large portion of pancakes. It's rather pricy but you get what you paid. I tried the Apple & Cinnamon pancake and it was okay (it could be better if they don't use green apple because I'm not a fan of it). The Nutella pancake was fine too with generous amount of Nutella spread
R. M.
Delicious pancakes! Queue out of the door is deceiving as were seated within 5 minutes. There are loads of different toppings, sweet and savoury, to choose from and you can make your own
L. C.
Great value, very friendly staff and food was tasty! Not fine dining but does what it does very well 👍
N. M.
The staff are nice and friendly, food is great and the location is great
M. S.
Each time I miss dutch pannekoek I visit this place. The choice is overwhelming! You can even have american style pancakes if you're into more calories. If you like "weird" flavours, you should definitely go with an "Amsterdammer": pancake with sautéed apples, bacon and... maple syrup! Bitterballen are my favourite dutch street food. But go with Kaassoufflé if you love cheese. Place is just a minute walk from Holborn underground station and has downstairs seatings available too.
F. P. N.
As my very first Dutch pancake I was impressed, however wasn't able to finish it by myself. They have a wide variety of options to choose from and it's a nice space. Prices start from 10£ so it's a cheap option for a full lunch in London.
C. B.
I went there on a Monday evening with friends, we ate like animals and we spent 10£! They have a great deal every Monday, strongly recommend their SWEET pancakes 🥞🥞🥞
D.
You can have a savoury option which are like pizzas but a pancake alternative. They're really large too as you can see they take up the entire plate. The Roald Dahl menu is quite extravagant but delicious. I shared it with my friend as I think alone it can be quite sickly. I would definitely go again.
K. C.
You really have to be in the mood for a big meal. Milkshake was super thick and pancake twice the size of my face. Really happy they had gluten free options
I. I.
We went there on Saturday afternoon. We had classic pancake, which is enough for two people to share, and butterscotch pancakes. Both tasted just average.
C.
Delicious and beautiful decor
J.
Good choice of panckakes. Not the best if you are a fan of American traditional pancakes. All panckakes are served of size of a big pizza with fillings. Very big portion, delicious and affordable. Service and staff is good. On a busy day there might be a queue.
R. L.
Really good food with big portions. A really spacious place. Would totally recommend to try! Their milkshakes are great👍
L. L.
The food was very delicious and looked gorgeous. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great place! But it could've been a little cleaner. Our table was quite sticky and another couple complained about a dirty table as well. Plus, the student discount is apparently only valid for London students which is kinda disturbing to find out just right before you want to pay your bill and expect a discount to be calculated as advertised on the website. Overall a nice place with room for improvements.
J. R.
Really good spot. Food is great. Good spot to get a meal at before heading up to the British museum
H.
Ordered a Berry Compote pancake and profitjes with strawberries and nutella, not both for myself of course, am no fatty. I found the Berry Compote to be quite sour and shoveled them to the side while I enjoyed the Pancake with nutella instead. I should add that strawBERRY is also a berry and wasn't in the compote, hence why I deducted one star.
A. E.
Very cute and cosy atmosphere, polite staff and so much choice in the menù. Defenetly visiting this place again.
M. A. C.
Very quick service & a huge choice of pancakes!! The 1st time I eva been here after many years of passing the branch on King's Road.. will deffo return!!
A.
Simply wow! Best pancakes in the area, quite pricey but well worth every penny 😋
A. R.
Decent value food in central London. Wide variety of savoury and sweet toppings on plate sized pancakes. Simple presentation with plastic sundae glasses for smoothies etc. Like nando's of the pancake world.
H. M.
Although they look amazing.. I'd say it wasnt worth it.
My crepe tasted like it had been sat on the side for a couple hours keeping warm, definetly didnt taste fresh.
Its a cool atmosphere, weird chairs, good presentation but its just a shame it didnt taste fresh.
B. F.
Great and huge pancakes (1 is more than enough). Service was a bit slow unfortunately
a. r.
Best pancakes in town! worth every penny
R. R. (.
Desserts looking really nice but tastes wise could have been better - waffle was a bit soft and cold would have liked it hot
J. J.
Some nice memories of my time in Holland, with some great traditional Dutch classics and amazing pancakes
i.
Huuuuuuge pancakes with all types of toppings. Tasted really good. Only problem were the chairs. Never have I ever been so uncomfortable in a restaurant.
E. F.
I have gone to My Old Dutch several times in the past few years and it is honestly the best pancake place I have ever been too. They have a vast selection of savoury and sweet pancakes with are reasonably priced and very tasty. I usually go to the one in Holborn but there is also one in Chelsea. It can get very packed quite quickly so a good time to go is a week day
J. E.
Vegan food should not just imitate non-vegan food! Pancake with vegan mozzarella and pepperoni was not that great.
B. M.
Visited here on a Monday when some pancakes are reduced. Very good value
M. L.
Nice classic english style pancakes - not crepes! Gluten free ones are tasty if a little gooey, depending on one's preference. Helpful staff, not too invasive
B. S.
Such a good selection of savoury and sweet pancakes. Brilliant gluten free options!
R.
This is one of the places to go if you like pancakes - they have all kind of them and you want to try all! Hahaha I went for the special which was sweet AF! And a plain which was interesting to see the contrast - I definitely recommend it!
M. H.
Amazing food, friendly staff. Will keep going back
R. H.
We were spoilt for choice! There were so many good savoury and sweet options.
S. M.
Seated straight away even though I'm in a wheelchair and they were busy. Attentive staff. Wonderful food. Just not certain there was an accessible bathroom
D. J. M. L.
Great pancakes! Huge and tasty, the greek with hallumi, tomatoes, eggplant and olives is the best! The shakes are also good and the sweet option ideal to share
A. K.
Very nice place for a casual Dutch dessert. We had poffertjes and they were good. The service was also casual and friendly.
G. R.
Service is very friendly, but honestly the food is a bit overrated, there’s not enough filling in the pancakes , they are pretty plain .
M. S.
Amazing pancakes although I got full way to quickly. I've been here before and it's been very busy. I would advise getting here in the morning or near midday so you don't end up queuing.
A. A.
Simply the best pancakes in town. Love everything the topics the friendly service.our top destination fir the kids birthdays.
M. K.
Massive pancakes and reasonably priced. A good treat.
C. W.
Busy, which is a good sign usually. Though can’t fault much..my only turn off was I thought it was slightly pricy..though to b expected at a more central (london) location like this.
J. S. L.
Huge crepe with generous amount of topping! Very satisfying and would highly recommend:)
e. c.
It’s really tasty,I love it!
It’s my first time to eat Dutch’s pancake, everything was good,I’d like to go to eat again if I go to visit there!
B. L.
Very good value. Great pancakes - the best. Exceptional service by friendly staff. Perfect.
L.
The two of us were seated in a lovely 4 seater by the window.
I had the Banana Nuts Chocolate Sauce pancake (pictured) and my friend had Compote of Berries.
The portions are absolutely huge and the pancakes arent that thin either so VERY filling. I also had a Belgium Chocolate milkshake, which was very nice and thick except it came in a plasic cup.. would have been better in a glass/metal one.
The staff are very friendly and energetic.
I would recommend this place for a quick bite, dessert or even just coffee/milkshake.
A. R.
Loved it ...this was on my to try list for a long time...the pancake was delicious as was the cappuccino .. I had the buttermilk pancakes with banana and caramel sauce and ice cream - staff were friendly especially as there was a mistake on my bill which they happily rectified, if your in the area and in the mood for sweet pancakes then this should be on top of your list.
M. g.
The first 3 times I've been, the food was meeeh, compared to the other the 2 restaurants. But on my last visit, I enjoyed what I ordered.
C. M. T.
Always find myself coming back. Extremely reasonably priced (cheap for London) with consistently huge portions with lots of toppings. Not a single bad thing to say
S. B.
Great pancakes and very reasonably priced.
There are lots of young families so definitely expect for children to be in the vicinity of your meal if you go here. Personally didn't really like the atmosphere because of noise etc for that reason but I suppose that's what you can expect in a place which specialises in pancakes and waffles!
K. C.
Big portions! The old Dutch pancake was very filling. Go on Mondays for £5.65 per pancake. Next time we will order one savoury and one sweet pancake to share!
P. A.
Good gluten free pancake base. Pancakes are in the English Shrove Tuesday style, not the American half inch thick style. My preference, especially given the size, just letting you know.
d. n.
Visited with the extended family while on a family break to London. To say we where spoilt for choice was an understatement. The menu seems to have a endless choice of sweet and savoury options and you can always make your own. The staff where friendly and efficient would deffinently recommend it to anyone!!!!
B. P.
Worth to go and enjoy a lovely dessert! 🍰 Sizes are huge, you might wanna share!
I. A.
Although I do not like pancakes, I loved butterscotch pancake, highly recommend
H. D.
Excellent service and wide variety of pancake choices! Went here for a friend's birthday and would definitely go back!
G. I.
Best pancakes I've ever had! The place is nice and cosy. They nailed the dutch look and feel of the place.
M. T.
Very nice cake but pancakes could have been made a bit better in my opinion, I’m Dutch so I need to be a bit critical about that 😉😆 haha
J. H.
Very friendly staff, good service & lovely food
Y. K.
Fantastic place with an amazing range of savory and sweet pancakes! The best savoury and sweet pancakes are ones with chicken and Nutella, respectively. You have to try the lemonade too! Size wise, the pancakes are ridiculously humongous, you won't need to eat anything else that day again! 😆
P. C.
Great service and picture worthy giant pancakes.
Expensive for what you get and tastes ok.
S. H.
Great place for pancakes, I've been coming here for years and always get a good service.
I feel like the offering for sweet pancakes far outweighs that of savoury pancakes and as someone who's meal choice would be the latter I'd like to see a greater choice of savoury options on the menu 😊
R. S.
Great pancakes, very friendly staff.
M. W.
Great pancakes with every flavour you can think of
B. F.
Excellent sweet and savory pancakes and crepes. There is often a line during the peak meal times, but worth the wait!
G. T.
Been eating here on and off for years great food ambience and service.
S. K. K.
Never had pancakes that aren't sweet. Totally different experience. It's huge, better go in group to experience different varieties.
S. G.
The pancakes were really good, the decoration is really sweet and cute. But the music was making us sleepy. But other than that it was a really great time.
S. J.
Great for breakfast , be hungry as very large portions. Keep you going for the day.
T. W.
It's a bit of a novelty. Smoked duck pancake was mostly peppers. Snickers milkshake was pretty good. Service was good especially in a large group
T. L.
Gorgeous pancakes, sweet or savoury. The place is always full - says it all!
H. C.
Amazing staff and great food for all. Had my son's birthday party and all the kids love it.
r.
The pancake was nice, not really my style so I won't downrate it for that.
R. A. (.
Great welcome and service, extensive menu which made it difficult to choose, everything sounded so good, food was delicious
k. K.
Food was great! Love that they had loose tea. But the service was a bit slow. Staff were great!!
J. M.
So gooooood the staff are usually so nice, the portions are mahusive both savoury and sweet. You can make your own too, you got thin you got thick.
F.
The 2nd time I have been and both times the food was delicious. Service is good.
V. D.
I had the vegan pancake with vegan cheese and chorizo. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was and it was also huge.
C. C.
Was great. Had the butterscotch pancakes with Nutella, banana and kinder bueno. Highly recommended.
A. A.
A must try resturant in london
Unique and delicious pancakes
The portions however are big
The staff are friendly and helpful
Definitely will visit again
A. C.
Great menu, poor execution with lack of flavours, but they were busy and staff were stretched
F. i.
massive portions
sweet desserts
friendly staff
I would recommend the butter pancakes rather than the crepe looking things.
T. S.
Great quality, but a bit overpriced unless you get the Monday half price offer.
G. S.
Cannot recommend enough. Have been back several times since I first went three years ago, never had a bad experience. Food is amazing, staff are wonderful, have no complaints
Z. K.
Food was good I really enjoy my meal. However it was cold there and no music in the background. Wished was more cosy.
N.
Very good place for pancakes. Careful: huge size :)
Lots of different combination and great Shakes
Staff is friendly but not better than the guys from Chelsea branch
S. A.
Friendly staff. Clean place. And Pancakes are great
Z. T.
Quaint little eatery along the street spotting sweet & savoury pancakes at a very reasonable price.
Came for dessert and had a large sweet pancake which was pretty decent for the price. American-style scotch pancakes are also available as an alternative to the massive larger-than-dinner-plate-sized pancakes if those are not your thing.
Many diners around me were enjoying savoury pancakes served with a variety of toppings from salmon to sausages. These command a similar price to the sweet pancakes and certainly look very tempting.
Service was great: waiters are friendly, attentive, and some will even joke with you at the table. One even posed for the camera when she noticed me taking a picture of the restaurant!
Most items on the menu cost less than or around £10. From the size and quality of the pancakes, you're definitely getting your money's worth. You can even get a loyalty card which rewards you with a free pancake for every 9 you purchase!
Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely come back in future to try the savoury pancakes.
A. R.
Nice place for quick Team lunch.. liked it .
Service was fast..
K. R.
Yummie Pancakes, newly decorated layout. Well done team Holborn 👏
J. P.
I love this place, I love the service and I love the pancakes
R. C.
Best Dutch pancakes ever on full sized delft plates
C. G.
Visited here for a late birthday meal out with my family, the portion sizes were larger than expected which was a lovely surprise. The pancakes were okay but for me it was really the service. We had such an amazing waitress called Isabella (I think that's how you spell her name), she was so welcoming and we had a good laugh with her, for that reason and the service in general I would go back here.
R. M.
Nice place and very big pancakes. The one in the background could have been better if the onion and the spinach were cooked.
B. A.
Very creative pancake style dishes. Although I went with plain old Nutella. But it was still very good, fulfilling yet light. The service is also good, but sometimes there's a queue as the place is very popular. But it's definitely worth the wait!
E. L.
Having a great experience enjoying the huge pancakes
N. D.
Dutch deserts in American sizes reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and professional. They have lots of tables although most were empty. We visited Tuesday evening for after dinner desert. The sharing ice cake was amazing. Will return but will be easy on dinner this time.
E.
Great place to eat, the staff are really friendly. I have been going to this restaurant for a few years on many occasions. The pancakes are quite generous in size. Would highly recommend.
P. G.
Best pancake i had in years, lot of choice
A. H.
Got here late and had amazing service and great food
E. B.
Pricey, but delicious. Loved the chocolate caramel chilled latte!
K. S.
The staff were friendly, portions were huge and the food was very tasty.
K. C.
Dutch style pancakes are delicious!! Finally after talking about coming here for months, my boyfriend took me there! I don't think I chose the best, but still the food was very good and the atmosphere was lively. The pancakes are really big as they should be, but meant that I was too full for a sweet pancake for pudding. Next time sweet first!!
l. e. c.
Didn't book but was able to be seated within about 15 mins (came about 12.30 on a sunday). Would recommend booking!
Took appropriate covid precautions, track n trace, hand gel, staff wearing facemasks.
Food yummy and filling and relatively cheap.
Staff friendly and helpful 😁
T. H.
Restaurant has a nice ambience, creatively decorated. Great selection of food and delicious desert. Worth a try!
A. T.
Phenomenal pancakes house, caters for all tastes, sweet tooth and otherwise, and very friendly staff
D. R.
So good! Just remember not to accidentally eat the whole thing like I did 😂 - maple syrup and butter sweet pancake -
N. L.
I will for sure visit this restaurant many more times. The best pancakes in London. Huge portions and many different options as well as gluten-free vegetarian and vegan ones. It’s so universal for all ages and for people with different preferenes. Sweet or savoury. Fun interior and decorations. I have nothing but kind words to say.
M. “. B.
Food was nice as I have always experienced. Spot on. It came fast and efficiently. However it took awhile to place the order. I had to yell for the waiter to come back as they were rushing around like crazy. Same issue for my plates to be cleared away. In their defence a it was the lunch time period. But a little more attentiveness goes along way. They are lovely staff members though. Great atmosphere.
A. B.
Make sure to go for butterscotch pancakes if you want a stack.
Ordered the sweet pancake which was essentially a crepe. Turns out these are the dutch style. This should be clearly stated on the menu as not everyone would know this.
Also ordered the banana cream waffle. Seemed like a plate of cream with a side of waffle. It was tiny.
Nachos also seemed stale.
Greats service by the staff however unlikely to go again. Easier and cheaper. to make at home.
M.
Interesting ways to eat pancakes! Must not go more than once a month! Hot chicken one was really nice and I have my eyes on the desert pancakes next time. Staff were friendly and we were served quickly. Drinks were a little expensive
A. V.
As usual, a mixed bag. I've been here tons of times now and I feel it's time for a review. The place is nice, always quite busy. The staff is usually either bored or annoyed. It's very rare to have someone treating you nicely. Now, they have never been rude. But abrasive, yes. They always have a weird attitude. Well... that's balanced out with the food. Everything here is really good, both sweet and savoury, both the taller pancakes and the large flat ones. Pofferdjets with ice cream are also amazing. Coffee is decent. Prices are not particularly low, so be prepared to spend some.
D. F.
I've been coming here for probably around 35 years - it's an experience that I always enjoy.
G. I.
Best pancake in town. Really a gem in middle of london .
S. M.
Very good pancakes both savoury and sweet and large and they have a discount day. Some places have halal options so do ask. So many different options and varieties just ask! and the place has nice decor and a good vibe. Sometimes I get a rickety table and they never serve the tea right either barely any flavour or over powering so take a miss on the tea. Pricing is alright because it’s so filling you only just about manage having the one pancake. My favourites have been the Moroccan tagine, egg florentine, salmon and then the all berry with cream yum!
N. K.
Lovely pan cakes always quirky and buzzing. There's a vegan selection there. The best place to get a massive pancake. These are meal worthy but you can just go for a sweet pancake for dessert. Deals on Monday's too for those on a budget...
A. A.
The place is the best!
Best food, best service, best prices!
You must visit!
It is usually full of young people.
D. L.
A fun Dutch style restaurant with a light, friendly atmosphere. The pancakes are good - I'm not normally a huge fan of savoury pancakes but nonetheless they had an interesting selection and I enjoyed mine. Lots of Tabasco and ketchup with an English breakfast upon a pancake - delicious and unique.
C. L.
Fantastic pancakes and delicious food. Had run out of standard Dutch beers which seemed like a logistical oversight, and service was non-existent. It took 15 mins for us to give our orders and the next contact we had with the staff was spending 10 mins trying to flag them down to pay the bill. It wasn't overly busy (60-70% capacity). I can't remember whether the standard service charge was 10% or 20% but we opted not to pay it for our table of 4 for the above reasons.
V. M. R.
Food is very very good, portions are big. Service and prices in the average. I will come back
S.
Me and my friend spontaneously felt like we wanted to try it and were told that on Mondays you get a discount for all of the sweet pancakes which was an amazing surprise! The pancakes themselves are huge and well worth the price, and the staff were all super attentive and friendly!
F. M.
The place is really warm and cozy, but the staff is exactly the opposite. No smile, no welcoming, just cold atmosphere.
They shall train more the waiters, at least they should speak English and understand what you are saying.
The butterscotch pancakes were good, they have a large choice. But not the best pancakes that you can find in London.
Basically place to visit just one time (for me, at least).
L. S.
Amazing pancakes! Shared a savoury and a dessert pancake with my partner!
H. C.
Loved the presentation of the food. Great for a date night or a girls night out
A. M.
Kassaballen reminded me of Amsterdam. Amazing pancakes! Will be returning often hehe
K. H.
Massive pancake... That's all you need to know... Decent pricing... Flavours range from savory to sweet
N. D.
Great pancake place, loved the decor. Don't expect to be hungry at lunchtime if you have this for breakfast!
J. G.
Decent quality food but absolutely terrible service!
Came here for the first time last night with my girlfriend and a couple of others, it’s definitely not what I’d generally pick as I’m not a huge pancake fan anyway and I wouldn’t be in a rush to head back either.
Upon arriving (4 of us) we were made to wait 10/15 minutes for a table despite 2 clean tables with 4 chairs being available right next to where we were waiting. Upon being shown to our seats it then took probably another 20 minutes for our orders to be taken as well.
When the orders were taken they were literally taken in memory by a guy who stood there in the most monotonous robotic form and literally looked like he was just waiting to be taken from the earth!
Food probably then took 25/30 minutes to arrive and although I was pleasantly surprised with it (I order a savoury pancake with spicy chicken, bacon, spring onions) and the portion sizes of each were on the large side, part of the order was missing.
Due to the long wait for the pancakes we all finished drinks pretty much as soon as we started eating but didn’t bother asking for more as we wanted to get home last night! Upon asking for the bill we were then made to wait another 20 minutes before someone actually remembered about it!
This was poor service as the diner was probably 2/3 full at most during the evening.
Could have been so much better but failed to deliver and the optional service charge which I would usually always pay was not given as frankly it was not deserved!
Underwhelming!!
H. F. P.
Great desserts very good customer service with a smile and the chocolate dip that comes with the pancake was aaaamaazing
E. E.
Yummy, great service. We ordered more that what we actually wanted and they were kind enough to give us extra time between one dish and the other. If you love pancakes this is the place
K. O.
I'm always in and out of this restaurant and I can honestly say their food always amazes me. The staff are nice and friendly and greet you when you come in. This place has a variety of different pancakes ranging from sweet to savoury and are priced reasonably considering the size of the pancake. The pancakes taste really nice and are cooked as well.
J. R.
I have been to a lot of dessert places but this one is definitely my favourite. It's clean, the staff are nice and the pancakes are just so delicious. You can even build your own pancakes both as sweet or savoury. Don't miss out and give it a try.
S. F.
Amazing food and service! If you are a pancake lover that is definitely place to go!
M.
Make sure you're hungry, the portion sizes are huge!! The food is amazing, and they also have great vegan and gluten free options. Pancakes can be sweet or savory
M. B.
Great Experience
Tasty food for the kids inside every adult
i. d.
Been a repeat customer here for many years. It is an institution. Savoury or sweet the pancakes are huge, generously filled and pretty good value. Staff are friendly, service is generally good. It can get a little crowded so booking is recommended esp for dinner.

For someone who is allergic to dairy and has a partner allergic to nuts you'd think this restaurant would be a no go for us. However, we had a look at the menu and was surprised to see the free-from options they had. The staff are nice when greeting etc, the tables are a bit sticky but that's passable. Pricing is a bit high, meaning you average around £14 per person but the food is what makes it worth it. The best pancakes in London, I would suggest this for an afternoon snack between 12:00 and 14:00.
P. R.
Absolutely love this place! Great for savoury or sweet pancakes and you might need to go on an empty stomach as the plates are huge! One big crepe can be shared between 2 people! I am a regular!
J. V.
One word: delicious!
Though the decorations are a bit over the top for me as a Dutch person!
A.
Pancakes are nice (they don't seem very Dutch though) but staff seemed to struggle with the Friday lunch crowd a bit. Would go back, perhaps at a quieter time. I had made a late reservation, being pleasantly surprised that was still an option, only to find the man seating everyone wasn't aware and told us those late reservations never work - then maybe don't give us the option?

One of my fav places for pancakes. Love that the Holborn branch offer halal options too
B. S.
This is heavenly.. for all that has a sweet tooth this is the place. Presentation perfect delicious.. amazinggg.. reasonably priced for holborn tbh. Love it.. defo will reccomend again
W.
A downgraded rating because it took the staff 5 minutes to recognize us and take us to a table. We also had to wave at the staff in order for them to take our orders. I was however surprised with the size and how good the items looked. As a Dutch person myself, I liked the Kaassoufles although they were a bit overpriced but I didn't mind. Unfortunately before I started eating I realised that there was a hair in my pancake and I informed staff. They took it away and I had to wait a while for a new one, which was burnt from the bottom. I decided not to complain about the burnt bottom but that is why the rating is lower.

I guess the concept is nice, with huge pancakes, sweet and salted. I did enjoy the old Dutch savoury pancakes, even if there was missing some kind of sauce or crispy thing inside. It was quite plain for me. The sweet pancakes (berries end whipped cream) was disappointing. The whipped cream was store bought or similar (very light) and the pancakes seems not fresh (frozen maybe?). We was served quite quickly and they was not much hot, and the last 2 pancakes on the plate had some hard parts on them (like when you over microwave something). Those was 13£, I had much more amazing pancakes in some more fancy places for 9£. I do not recommend. Unless you want a sweet fix and you have money to spend.
s.
Lovely staff every time we go! The sweet pancakes are amazinnnngggg. The savoury ones- not so much. Maybe I had a bad experience but won't try those again.
Never a long wait when we go- normally in the evening.
The atmosphere is very nice also.
R. F.
Very good pancakes

Visited with the extended family while on a family break to London. To say we where spoilt for choice was an understatement. The menu seems to have a endless choice of sweet and savoury options and you can always make your own. The staff where friendly and efficient would deffinently recommend it to anyone!!!!
V. B.
Just look at these

Good pancakes & worth a visit if you've got a sweet tooth.

Great pancakes! Protip : go on mondays for their £5.65 deal!
Would highly recommend.
m. C.
Delicious & friendly staff (especially the cute guy)
L. S.
I ordered the Smoked duck,it was delicious
M. L.
The pancakes here are amazing. Whether it’s sweet or savoury. We found this place on a Saturday and couldn’t believe the vibe in the heart of Holborn. Not busy, a relaxed newspaper read and pancake later and we were ready to face the day. Well done on the service and the atmosphere. Have been back.
T. S.
Fabulous choice if deliciousness. Tastes amazing.
H. H. P.
Such amazing place, lovely staff, tasty food! Highly recommended!
T. K.
I find the pancakes here a bit mediocre. Generous portions, lovely staff but the menu could with a bit more verve. We ordered 3 pancakes between us (I even ordered a signature dish) and they were a bit of ok. I particularly like crepes when they try adding liquor or something similar but there's nothing like that here. It's an OK place
A.
So close to Holborn station.
Good is delicious.
Excellent staff.
Staff approaches you very quickly.
Food arrives very quickly too.
Enough seating available at all times.
Portion size is very big so you will definitely be full which is great.
Very good Customer service.
P. S.
The best, the very best pancakes in London. Not to he missed if you are fan of pancakes
D. O.
Surprisingly after trying out pancakes in actual Holland, My Old Dutch pancakes still top the list of best ever Dutch pancakes!! Love the way they cook the different ingredients into the pancake itself. Their Maple syrup just needs to be a bit bigger, or cheaper per portion.
A. D.
Very large pancakes! Almost as big as six phones! Happy that they offer gluten free. To Americans: the “butterscotch pancakes” are NOT butterscotch flavored. Just a stack of American-style, buttermilk pancakes. Still quite delicious.
H. S.
An airy eatery that do every kind of pancake you could desire. So many options to fill your crepes or stack both savory and sweet. The portions are large so bring a healthy appetite
I. S.
Came here on a Monday night with a group of friends after a few drinks at the pub across the road, and had the best meal in ages! My Rocket & Sun-dried Tomatoes vegetarian pancake was super tasty! We also did not realise that we were very lucky to be there on a Monday when any pancake costs £5.95... Bargain! The service was outstanding! Our waitress was very efficient and with an amazing sense of humour :)
M. M.
I have visited this establishment many times over the years and I can honestly say I am never disappointed. Even in these troubled Covid-19 times it is reassuring to see the staff adhering to current safe practice, whilst maintaining the high quality menu without hindrance.
Top quality pancakes as always, no surprises there 😃 and if you need a suggestion, try the Smoked Duck pancake... OMG!!!!
So many things change, but My Old Dutch is perpetually reliable. Sure, the menu has moved with the times and vegetarian/vegan options are readily available, but the essence of what makes the place so special remains unchanged. I love the place.
J.
I Have walked past this place hundreds of times over the years and always avoided it - not sure why, perhaps because of a bad pancake experience years ago. Any way a friend took me in there and tbh I was pleasantly shocked. The Mushroom and smoked Salmon Pancake for around £13 is brilliant.
E. T.
Very good service and food, and the place is amazing
D. N.
Very tasty (dutch) pancakes, which look and taste more like crepes, but bigger!!! One thing to look out for is the calories in each pancake, by checking the nutritional information online in their webpage, because be aware that most of their pancakes exceed 1000 calories which is a lot for a meal!!
H.
Stumbled across this place while looking for Nandos cus when hunger strikes you'll eat just about anything, but boy were we blown away by the quality of the offering here! The Dutch are good at most things, but American pancakes I did not expect to see on the menu, let alone be wowed by. The Great food was topped off by great service from the staff, especially Elena and the manager, who so kindly offered to go and find ginger powder for my ridiculously demanding dining partner. Who even puts ginger in their OJ?? My friends that's who, you judgemental scallywag. Anyway, I'll be back for more, and you should too

Look at the menu and try something new ...you won't regret. Pancakes were delectable.

A long standing fixture in London M.O.D. gives the people what they want and they come in great numbers to consume it.
The pancakes are good, but not greatly authentic (think British Indian food compared to real Indian food as a comparison), but are well made, tasty and in big portions. Good selection of savoury (both meat and veggie) and sweet pancakes, and some really good milkshakes.
Service and food are super quick, especially given the size of the place (there is even more seating downstairs) and how busy it normally is. Definite kudos to the waiting staff for the way they deal with a packed place.
Bit of a down mark for the sticky tables, though this seems to be the way they have been painted as opposed to a dirt/cleaning thing.
P. C.
Gets quite busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait. Thankfully you don't have to wait long since there's plenty of sitting space. We were fortunate enough to get a table by the door next to the big window. We had pofferjtes one with strawberries and the other one with hot chocolate. They were really tasty and good quality. Fast and friendly service which makes the whole experience bit better. It's a bit pricey for what you get but it's worth trying once. We paid 16 pounds for two dishes

A very hygienic place to be at the moment. Staff are constantly putting hand gel on (available for customers as they walk in) and have been cleaning chairs throughout our meal! Great food and very happy to change things to meet individual needs! Been coming for years and always bring my friends!
B. R.
We all had savery pancakes. The toppings on the create your own pancakes were just dumped on top of the pancakes. Not the best presentation. It was an ok meal but better on previous visit. Wont be in a hurry to go back.
J. B.
The food was great, an excellent choice of options covering all your pancake desires. Unfortunately, the kitchen were let down by the surly, forgetful and slow front of house staff. They failed to place the order for 1 of our party, and when we did get their attention, their attitude was one of it being our fault that we were missing a dish
T. D.
I love coming here when I get the cravings for pancakes. They make lovely gluten free pancakes and so far I have never got gluten poisoning after eating there.
It's quite busy in there but the atmosphere is nice and cosy and they don't keep you waiting for your food for too long.
C. D.
The food was good, very filling
C. B.
Good portions, particularly the Greek salad. Even the lighter pancakes come with plenty of toppings. Very tasty food. They're usually busy and it isn't always easy to get service immediately, but there are no problems one you get someone's attention.
D. S.
Great service. Tall guy with beard (manager?) was friendly professional and well informed and resolved any issues we had. Nice guy!
Amazing pancakes. Good size, flavourful with great special offerings such as the Kinder Kiss Me. We had this and the Mediteranean both very good. All in all a great eating experience. Well done guys! Thanks.
S. K.
Was an amazing experience for a first-time visitor - had excellent service from the waiter and the crepes were spectacular. My only critique was that I wasn't prepared for the sheer size of the crepes - if you're trying this for the first time, I'd strongly recommend going on an empty stomach because the crepes are very, VERY substantial!
C. r.
This place is amazing! There are sweet and savoury pancakes on offer. I had the chilli con carne savoury pancake and it was a unsuspecting combination that worked beautifully. Me and a friend had even pushed the boat out a little and split a berry compote pancake for desert which tasted great (but we were very full). I was mostly taken back at the colossal size of the pancakes. Also go on a Monday where all pancakes are only £5!
P. G.
Service can be a little hit and miss here, and it's frustrating to queue for a table when you can see plenty of empty tables that haven't yet been cleared. However, this is a fun place, with waffles and pancakes that will delight both kids and adults. The portions are big and managing to finish both a pancake main and dessert is pretty impressive. Wines are ok, but I'm told the beers are good. A nice place to go with a group and sample each other's choices.
B. S.
Excellent place for a quick bite to eat. Really friendly staff and quirky decor makes its an inviting place to keep coming back to.
The pancakes are huge! We ended up sharing a savory one and a sweet one but its excellent value for money :)
R. N.
I really like the food and the décor of this place. The Hot Dutch pancake is absolutely delicious. The milkshakes are quite creamy and the fruit beers are a must try if you've never had them before. The pancakes are quite large for one person so share 3 among 4, especially if you are accompanying it with a milkshake. They sometimes have an offer on Mondays of a pancake for five quid - try it then if you are doubtful about the food.
I. B.
Pancakes are huge and the shop is cute. Fun little place.
I. T.
Good portions, but quite expensive
A. K.
Nice place to have a meal after work, however it gets busy in early evening, even on weeknights, which shows its popular with locals. You need to wait to be seated, the ambiance seems ok, nothing fancy, rather the wooden chairs were a bit uncomfortable, old fashioned as there was no cushion and the back is straight upright.
The staff seems nice and friendly, and pancake (smoked salmon) was really nice, definitely worth the money. They have a range of starters as well. Can pay be cards, definitely will visit again.
A.
Tried to book via online booking system a week in advance but had no luck for a table for two people.
Decided instead to go to the restaurant instead and queue for 30 mins on a weekday! I believe this is a popular location as it’s close to Covent Garden, theatre district and office buildings.
Although the menu had a good variety of many different combos (I.e light options too) I was left confused over what to order so decided on chicken fajita which was delicious and the size of the crepe/pancake was huge. I also ordered a sweet Belgian waffle but it tasted like a store bought item that was microwaved and served, however toppings were delicious and fresh!
I’ll go for a repeated visit just for the benefit of the doubt and let’s see if it lives up to my expectations.
G. W.
Came here on a Monday for their £5 pancake deal and was not disappointed - great value! I got the smoked salmon, mushroom and dill sauce pancake which was sublime with a bit of lemon. Fantastic selection of savoury and sweet pancakes. Milkshakes were also delicious.
L.
Pancakes are really good but they were so sweet and were huge portions. Definitely a good idea to split. The 'fresh' juices are not so fresh and it wasn't worth waiting in a queue for 40 mins. One-time experience!
J. M.
Really nice vibe here and massive pancake/waffle selection to choose from. Good portion size and delicious, staff friendly and lovely decor. Definitely recommend and will return when next in the area.
C. F.
Food was great. Pancakes are huge but generally light (if you avoid the four cheese). A little pricey but that's expected in London. Staff could be a tiny bit more attentive.
M. R.
Amazimg pancakes! They were divine! Just a note. The savoury pancakes come on a huge plate and fully loaded so maybe its best to share. Big enough for 2 to share 1. The sweet pancakes are smaller so easily eaten by 1. Absolutely delicious and will visit again! ^_^
B. A.
I came here today with my 2 younger sisters after university. It is close to my university anglia ruskin. I met up with my sisters. When we came we got a seat for 3 straight away but then my sisters didnt like the table so we sat somewhere else in the middle instead. We for our menu's and had a discussion about what we wanted then the waitor came over and we told him what we want to order. I rate the pizza's 10 out of 10 however we ordered buterscotch which we thought were the massive pancakes and they were not they were the smaller size instead. We asked to order again for the large pancake and then the guy explained to us nicely which one is the massive one instead. We ordered it and the service is very friendly and quick service. It wasnt too busy when we went. I asked to get a takeaway and my sister asked to get a takeaway for her nachos but they forgot to give it then she told them again and they apologised for it and then they gave it to her in a takeaway bag. Overall, experience was great, interior design great, quick service and food was amazing. Will go there again.
P. M.
Pancakes galore with a wide variety of toppings. Very pleasant staff, and the food is very tasty. Good place to go with friends. It lost a star because it was very cold near the back, where we sat; especially in the recent arctic temperatures England's been having.
W. R. (.
Great pancake place. This is more of a "meal on a pancake" than just a traditional creperie, but the pancakes are wonderfully tasty, and a plentiful range of toppings. They are also huge, coming on especially large plates, the only downside being that having another for dessert feels a bit too much!
S. J.
I took one of their special hot sellers, but was quite disappointed.. maybe it was not to my taste, or it was genuinely under seasoned . The pancake tasted just of cheese and nothing else. Other dishes might be better, but was not impressed by my first encounter.
X. H.
£5 Mondays is perfect to sample the extensive menu! A vast array of both sweet and savoury foods. From pancakes to waffles and some interesting extras My Old Dutch has it all. The loose leaf tea was also great. My only gripe was the maple syrup tasted like it was a syrup mix rather than the real deal but I can't blame them too much, they are Dutch not Canadian after all.
J. A.
A regular lunch spot after a visit to the British Museum. Very large pancakes and if there is two of you I'd recommend ordering one savoury between you and then you'll have room for an Apple and Cinnamon sweet, which I can't recommend highly enough.
K. J.
Really good and sumptuous crepes. Nice and cozy place too. The Greek crepe among the savory ones is really nice. Some of the berry ones that are sweet are out of the world. Go on Monday! (Because it's just £5 for a crepe on Monday which is almost half the price)
O. R.
Amazing crêpes at a reasonable price considering how gigantic they are. We shared crêpes between two people and that was a good portion size for a dessert/snack.
The staff were also friendly and service was fast. Would definitely recommend and I'm planning to go again to the Kensington store.
S. M.
Usually takes a while to get seated if you go with a large party but the service is decent. Great choice of savoury pancakes but needs more sweet options too. Portions are big.
L. W.
Massive pancakes! I think sweet ones are probably better than the savory ones.
N. M.
Oh my Godddddd. I wish I lived in London just to visit this place for breakfast every Saturday morning. It's so lovely inside and very Dutch looking, which is fitting. The pancakes themselves were perfect and the variety of the menu was overwhelming. In a good way. Will definitely come back here if ever in London again because there was much I wanted to try!
M.
If you like pancakes this is the place for you, loads of choice on sweet and savoury toppings. Some nice ales on the drinks menu. Sitting near the door was pretty chilly in winter.
A. S.
Awesome pancakes, sweet and savoury. Usually crowded but the queue at the entrance is moving fast as they have loads of seats. Service is quick, however the staff is not too nice. It's nice and colourful inside, creates a good atmosphere.
T.
We only popped in for a quick meal and really it was eat at the first place we could find. I was delighted by the service, food and overall feel of the place.
My daughter was thrilled at the fact she could have a pancake for lunch!
We now have the loyalty card and will be back soon.
N. P.
Large crêpes both savoury and sweet... Also American style pancakes for dessert if crêpes aren't you're thing. Food is way more filling then it looked. Sadly my savoury crêpe was a little burned underneath but it still tasted good and everyone else I went with had great tasting pancakes. If you like pancakes of any kind I definitely recommend it. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. :)
D. T.
Had the breakfast scrambled egg and smoked salmon pancake, which was fantastic. Generous portions for a fair price, atmosphere was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Great first time experience, will go back
E. B.
The pancakes are absolutely huge, next time I would absolutely share one between two people. Mine was absolutely delicious, I went for the ratatouille and I would definitely have it again.
It was very busy, people were queueing to get in. Not much space between tables, presumably to try to fit everyone in.
E. D.
Amazing place for dessert - you'll need to bring your appetite! Every variation of pancakes and waffles - thick, thin, stacked, crepes - and with every topping you can imagine.
Delicious!
C.
Delicious, big choices of crêpes. Nice staff and a lot of space should you want to come with many friends. Although during the covid-19 pandemic that might not be possible
M. D.
My savoury pancake was well loaded. It was with a mediterranean style one, with lots of rocket, the right amount of melted cheese on the dough and the rest of the fillings were good and right. The price was reasonable too. My friends had sweet pancakes and were all happy with them. We went after a restaurant dinner that did not satisfy us, but we liked My Old Dutch, near Holborn.
S.
Unfortunately I missed out on the pancakes but my husband and daughter rated them greatly. We ordered coffees when I arrived but we had to wait quite a while for them to arrive. I'm sure if we're back in the area another visit will be in order.
T. B. P.
So yeah, we (my boyfriend and I) were looking for some place to eat, we had a strong craving for pancakes and found this store. We had quite a laugh at it though, two Dutchies going to a restaurant named Old Dutch to eat pancakes the Dutch way. :P
We had to wait outside first, apparently that is how it works (it wasn't mentioned anywhere though, so a warning to people). It was flipping cold, but we endured it while drooling over the menu (sooo many delightful options).
Then we could go inside and we ordered our pancakes (with bacon). We had expected big pancakes, or well we are used to them, but what we got was even bigger than you normally get in The Netherlands.
But boy, it was delicious! The bacon was very well baked, crispy (breaking apart when you ate it), the pancake was sweet and yummy.
And it wasn't that expensive either!
So if you want pancakes, and see one of the restaurants of Old Dutch? Be sure to go inside for a pancake.
T. L.
This restaurant is aesthetically bizarre and therefore lovely. The shag green carpeting on the wall and mural-sized pictures of tulips remind you you're in the Netherlands, I guess. It seems like the kind of place that should be open all night, given the alcohol service and food appropriate for late-night intoxication, but they close so early! The savory pancakes are intriguing, eclectic, and generally tasty. I've avoided the sweet portion of the menu so far but may indulge; pictures of it suggest immediate diabetes. The appetizers are forgettable. Overall definitely recommend as a fun adventure or (early) post-pub meal. They're surprisingly busy earlier in the day and on weekends.
N. G.
Great pancakes in quirky restaurant with ambience. Monday madness makes it cheap as chips too. Been a customer for nearly 40 years, still get a huge grin when my food arrives. Recommended!!!
M. T.
Fast service, amazing pancakes and nice vibe
B. J.
Booked in over a week in advance for my son's birthday but upon arriving at the restaurant the staff were unaware of the booking which was very unfortunate. Once we were seated, we had to get the staff's attention more than once to order.
Orders were accurately taken and food was available very promptly. Very reasonably priced.
Overall with the exception of the issue with the booking of the table and having to prompt service, the experience was pleasant.
B. S. (.
Good pancakes & worth a visit if you've got a sweet tooth.
M. D.
Fantastic Dutch themed pancake and waffle house.
Delicious large, and I mean LARGE pancakes served with your choice of toppings, of you can have an American style stack of pancake.
Savoury or sweet, gluten free or not. Plenty of choice along side teas, soft drinks and much more.
B. B.
We've been coming here since 2005. It's not crazy sophisticated, and surprisingly not always the cheapest, but it is consistently enjoyable, consistently tasty, and consistently delightful for a middle of the road meal. Good for taking visitors to London.... not that's it's particularly English, but it is an institution :)
Try and get through a savoury one and a desert one each if you dare!
I.
Pancakes are their forte you need to try them wether your a sweet or savoury person would highly recommend. Btw £5 for pancakes on mondays!
A. S.
Love it! If you think you can come to My Old Dutch for a quick snack then you're wrong. Pancakes are massive and could easily fill up two people. Great price for what it is ;)
M. W.
£5 for a big pizza (on Mondays) but the base was a bit too pancake(y) if you know what I mean. The sweet pancakes looked amazing. Struggled to eat all of mine, very filling.
S. K.
Delicious variety of dishes, lovely team - really recommend booking in advance as it can be seriously busy! Well worth it especially as the dishes come out so quickly, ideal for a pre-theatre or comedy club dinner.
I. M.
Great place to eat whether you're in the mood for sweet or savoury.
Large savoury pancakes (crape style), with sweet or savoury fillings.
Lunch, dinner or for desserts there is plenty to choose from.
Great atmosphere, good service and friendly staff.
If you're a regular you can get a free meal after 9 visits with a loyalty card.
Close to the British Museum, Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
Would highly recommend the salmon in dill sauce.

We first went to the Holborn branch just under 2 years ago and had their kinder special which was amazing and looked exactly like the photos. We went today for the Easter special and was very unimpressed with it, it was smaller than the last year and looked nothing like the photos, this included the Easter milkshake. Staff also need to be much more friendly. I probably will not return and I'm not usually one for leaving negative reviews.
