J. D.Called in today whilst out walking our dog. Wonderful warm welcome, sat outside in garden area with dog. Beautiful ice-cream made with locally sourced produce. Highly recommended

M.Amazing varieties of of ice-cream and delicious taste to match all because of the dedication of people who make it and serve it in fantastic surroundings of plants and a river and comfortable seating area . They have so many flavors to choose from. The recommendation forget your diet when there and have 3 flavours if not four and won't regret it
L. L.Lovely little haven hidden in plain sight in Middleton Town centre . Owners are delightful and very helpfully stocked 3 versions of vegan ice cream and two sauces after initially being able to offer ( delicious)sorbets so now all the family can have ice cream , my favourites are the creamy vanilla and very chocolatey chocolate flavours all reasonably priced
S. P.Loads of lovely ice cream flavours to choose from and really good value. I had Bakewell tart and Jaffa cake. I like that they have recycling for the tubs and spoons on site.
Lots of quirky little seating areas to choose from around the side of the mill and beside the river.
I love that the ice cream shop is set in the mill and you can see into its decaying interior and it has those lovely worn cobblestones in the yard.

t. j.AMAZING! The flavours are wonderful - fantastically bonkers but wonderful....put buttered toast with chocolate; jaffa cake with good ol' vanilla..and what a vanilla! Definitely worth a visit, and if the weather's kind, you can sit in the lovely garden too!

The ice cream shop has the most amazing selection of locally sourced and produced dairy ice cream in an eclectic mix of flavours. There's always something for everyone!
The outside seating is on the Riverside to give it an almost tranquil feel to the whole experience 🍦

A. H.What a lovely little oasis in the centre of Middleton. Great seating area with lots of beautiful shrubs and plants. You could quite easily be sitting in a country tea room. Excellent ice cream, real good cup of tea and the staff were beyond helpful. Will definitely revisit. Well done to everyone involved.

J. L.Middleton's hidden gem, this is a delightful place to go for a coffee or ice cream, nestled in a beautiful garden by the side of the river, and the owners are so friendly you feel like you're visiting friends. Love it, but wouldn't recommend it because I don't want it to get busy 😊

Since working from home I've missed the gorgeous ice cream I had regular access to but then the Ice Cream Lodge appeared & ticked all my boxes ... I got smiles, good chat, local history and, best of all, brilliant ice cream, locally made in a quirky, pretty setting, perfect for crisp Autumn days ... I "thank you", you wonderful people.
