Fantastic, great quality food……. Mainly sweet, but some savoury. Eat in, take away, or like I do, order a delivery . Would highly recommend the full English breakfast for anyone with a big appetite, or maybe the breakfast stack for a more average appetite. . . Your tastebuds won’t be disappointed!

Claude’s is fantastic! We used them as a supplier for our wedding for a few tray bakes among other things. They were fantastic and an absolute highlight of our day. Since then we have ordered multiple times and consistently love what we order. Everything is incredibly more-ish.. as my waistline knows. I would encourage anyone to come and order/visit given the opportunity. The owners are lovely, they constantly remember us and willing to spend time out of their busy day to speak to us when they deliver anything.

I found this little gem a few months ago and now it's a regular stop off point. Great coffee, even better cakes and brilliant staff. Not only cakes and treats but also savoury snacks. The seating area is immaculately clean, the background music is subtle and doesn't interfere with your conversation. All in all my friends and I love it.

Great place to stop as I was walking in the area. Not easy to see from the road and a shame it doesn't have a great view. Spotlessly clean including the toilet. Friendly staff, good choice of brownies and cakes. Next time must try a scone.

I often go to Clauds for a coffee and a cake before my walk down the Tyne - pretty much there once a week. I love it. The staff are so friendly and thorough. The cakes always taste so delicious and there is a great selection. I took my mum for afternoon tea and the food was incredible. It was so tasty and there was a lot of choice. She was over the moon with her tea. Will continue to go back!

There is a delicious range of food at Claud's coffee shop to eat in, take away or have delivered. My particular favourite is their cheesecake, regardless of which flavour. The staff are very friendly and happy to help.

Large selection of sweet treats on offer. Delicious ham and cheese (and chutney) toasted baguette which we sat in to eat, great table service, staff attentive and professional. We also made use of their takeaway service and brought a few things home. Would recommend and will be back for another toastie!!

So much to choose from! The cheesecakes and brownies are especially gorgeous. All baked with a lot of effort and thought! The staff are also so lovely and welcoming and will go out of their way to bake requests. We have found our new favourite cake place!

We recently ordered from Claud's, the service was amazing, and the presentation and cleanliness of the sweet treats in the new coffee shop and dessert parlour was a amazing as well! Ordered for delivery before and loved it. This weekend I took the opportunity to visit the new shop and it did not disappoint. Cakes well displayed with name and price and everything looked so good. Kids went for brownies while adults went for mocha drip cake and rolo rocky road. Also took advantage of a tomato, mozzarella and pesto sandwich. So very tasty. Can't wait to be able to go with friends for coffee and cake once we're out of current restrictions

Everything we've tried at Claud's has been delicious. The staff are friendly and there is a large range on the menu. We love that they are open until 10pm as always struggle to find anywhere else that does that isn't a bar!

I love this cake shop. My waist line doesn’t. The best cakes I’ve tried, especially the drip cakes. I look forward to the menu every week. Lauren and James are really friendly, hard working and creative. Can’t wait for it to be open as a sit in cafe. Highly recommended

We popped into Clauds on our dog walk this week after driving past a few times. The shop it beautiful, really clean and the deserts are well displayed. We got two different types of tray bakes and my god they were both absolutely amazing. We’re planning to order a night in box soon we can’t get enough ❤️

The very best cakeaway there is! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, deals for little night box £11 and big night box for £22 and you get so much for your money it’s amazing! I always get a little night in box as a treat and it has never Disappointed!

I've taken friends and family here, they've loved the cakes and shakes. I like coffee they serve. While I'm giving it 5 stars, they really do need to pay attention to people inside the shop, you can wait for sometime to be served while they fulfill online orders.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our time at Claud's. On first appearance, it looked a little sterile with its bright overhead lights and very white walls, but the chairs were comfy and the staff were welcoming. They did a lovely job on the presentation of my daughter's waffle. She couldn't finish it, but I didn't mind helping! It was warm after being freshly made and treated great. The "brioche bomb" that I had was less exciting and could have maybe had a bit more sauce inside, but it was a pleasant, less filling option, and a really interesting idea. Update: After bringing the family here for brunch (4 light breakfasts and 4 waffles / crêpes + drinks), it also seems necessary to warn people that Claud's *is* on the expensive side and a round of 4 waffles will set you back by about £30 which feels like it's edging towards overpriced. We really enjoyed our meals, but it'll need to be a special occasion for the next family outing here.
