Worth travelling to Newcastle. So if your in town, save your pennies in your restaurant and give this place a try. You won't regret it.
G. O.This place is a must on a beautiful sunny day out in Newcastle, Co Down. A large selection of flavoured ice cream, and nuts, chocolate, sprinkles etc to accompany it.
A particular favourite is their Nuggi Pot. Three scoops of your choice of ice creams, chocolate or fruit sauce, crushed nuts, malteesers, sprinkles, etc ( far too many to mention ) and topped with a wafer. This is a must for ice cream lovers and costs less than a fiver. Fabulous 🍧🍦.
If ice cream isn't your thing, the coffee is excellent too.

P. A.Nugelato is a must stop on Newcastle seafront. It is about half way along the promenade. Ideal for a daily treat ...amazing ice cream and coffee. The young lady who served us was also very attentive and friendly.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Newcastle. Highly recommend the Snickerbocker glory nuggy pot. Snicker bits , nuts ice cream and hot chocolate sauce.
If you’re visiting in the colder months, make sure you’ve something warm to sit on. The front of the shop is open and the chairs are metal, so it’s a bit chilly on the old bottom.
But the ice cream will keep you happy😁

C. B.They do a 'make your own pot' which starts wth chocolate sauce, two ice creams of choice, 2 toppings of choice, another ice cream, followed by another topping and finally another sauce on top.
I hope they keep a defibrillator on site because I could have needed one.

M.Was here for the first time last week. What can I say who doesn't love ice cream. My family had been here previously and raved about it and boy where they right. I went for the Nuggypot and thoroughly enjoyed it getting to mix different flavours the honeycomb and salted caramel with vanilla and there is a great range of toppings to choose from the best bit was definitely the kinder beuno sauce it was simply delicious will definitely be back again soon. Also the staff were very friendly and welcoming too. It's a very well run place and is very popular

There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and the people who work there are all very friendly!

This place just gets better and better with each visit!! friendly staff who are helpful and polite(Shantell) The shop does a great trade all year round. I absolutely love the HOT chocolate brownie with ice cream the brownie has to be very HOT tho... Would recommend it to others hands down.

I called about 7pm and it looked like they had a pretty good days trade maybe that didn't help. My daughter had the nuggy pot which she said was lovely. Another person had a shake which she said was ok too. Will try to call again .

Expect to queue for a while as this seems really popular in the summer season. Ice cream is definitely worth a try and we went back another day after we enjoyed it on the first.
Staff were helpful, though at the time we went it seemed a little understaffed and the server was rushed so we had a good wait before being served.

S.My lovely wife and I along with our daughter and son in law stopped in this evening at this Ice cream parlour and little did we no, we where in for a real treat, the young lady serving us was so very patient and helpful and always with a smile on her face, we chose two similar ice creams with loads of Fudge, Chocolate Sauce, honey comb ice cream, and it was the best ice cream I have ever had, we are here on holiday for two weeks and we have already promised ourselves that before we leave we will be dropping in again. My lovely wife is not really into ice cream but enjoyed this one as did I, great staff, good portions and wonderful tastes, keep up the great work.....we will be back.
A.I queued for about half an hour because they only had one member of staff on duty. Come on now - Saturday in the middle of summer in one of Norn Irn's main tourist destinations. I'm only giving this rating because the girl who served me was great👍.

The one on the wall has writing so small you actually need to be standing right next to it to read it. This slows the ordering process down for everyone. Apart from that, it's good.

The concept is simple but it's the countless possible combinations that really makes it stand out. Chocolate Fondue, Kinder Bueno, Raspberry Ripple sauce (to name a few) mixed with your choice of three flavours plus two toppings and all less than £5. That is a steal.
Did I mention it's opposite a beach and some great scenery? Well now I have. Get some in you.

They also do crepes and other foods there. It is attached to succos with an open doorway inside to get to one another. The staff at nugelato are very friendly.
They have outdoor and indoor sitting areas so you can eat in the warm building or (if you get sun here) sit outside in the warm sun.
Overall great area for ice cream 5* ice cream parlor.
