Although we were the only People eating here the take away side of things was very busy. What a gem of a place. The staff and service were spot on meal was delicious we will certainly be going again.

we happened upon a quiet Thursday night, as our b & b was close by. we ordered a chicken birihami and a chicken korma, all very good. Staff were very nice and polite. Definitely recommended if you want some good indian food.

We had a fantastic meal here. The spicing was spot on for our Jalfrezi and Madras mains. Everything was piping hot and excellent quality. We had the restaurant to ourselves which seems odd as the staff were very friendly and attentive. No problem recommending.

Very nice, normally had takeaways from here over the years whilst on holiday, but this time we went and sat inside and had their set meal for 4 people and must say it was very nice. Highly recommended x

Wow what a nice little find, a very nice quaint Indian restaurant which seems to be quiet when you pass but it’s amazing and the food is equally as nice, we got a takeaway this evening and the food was out of this world and far better than other Indian restaurants in Newport!! We will be booking a table for the authentic dine experience 10/10 highly recommend

Sorry for the "after" photo but was too excited to get stuck in! The restaurant is a little dated, but the food was amazing, and the portions were large, really couldn't fault the whole experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes Indian food, both hot and mild.

We are tourists and decided to get a takeaway from here. It was very tasty and good quality. We had korma, patia and dansak the meat, lamb and chicken, was good quality. All were the right heat and very good portion at a reasonable price. We love curry so was impressed.

We went here for our staff Christmas do having previously been here as a family. Everyone loved it and the food came out at the same time even though it was a very big group. I have ordered takeaway from here quite late on, I believe they deliver up to 11:30pm which is handy if you've had to work late.

We ordered a take away this evening it came highly recommended so we drove from Binstead. Definately worth it, good value for money, the meat quality was fantastic and plenty of it. We will be back again thank you. All lovely but the Lamb Rogan was my favourite.

Midweek meal for 6.Although short of staff due to illness we were extremely well looked after by a delightful waiter. The meal was of excellent quantity and good sized portions.The waiter even took the trouble to tailor the meals to individual tastes. Only one slight complaint was the chicken tikka masala was a little sweet. Overall a great experience.

Best Indian I’ve had, 5 Stars given. The food was meant to take 45-60mins it came early even though there was a mistake with the address. Size of portions and cost was amazing. Will be going to try the lunch buffet. 😊

Last time I had a curry takeaway from the Bengal palace it was delicious and I loved it! Last night I had the same dish and I had to spit a bit of chicken out because it was uncooked and pink in the middle. I've had a stomach ache ever since so other bits of chicken obviously weren't cooked properly either. Whoever the chef was yesterday needs to cook the chicken for longer! Otherwise the food is lovely.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Ok so the decor still 2000 but that's a good thing in a world of contemporary designs. The place maintains the old school vibe with the classic bangladeshi music. The staff are very friendly. Great customer service. The dishes are food portions at very good price. The texture the flavour was spot on. The chef is amazing. Here you wont get the water tomato based curry but actual Indian dishes in Bangladeshi style. There are also Bangladeshi dishes offered on the menu like Shatkora. Honestly this place is amazing, mouth still watering. Only regret not going back one last time before leaving Newport. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

After looking for a new Indian take away, we decided to try Bengal and we weren't disappointed. Really tasty currys the sag paneer is lovely and the naan is so fluffy. We have found our new take away.

Odd decour for a Indian type resteraunt. Different. Like American diner. Quite like it. Old pub convention. Food is very good. Excellent nan's and mushroom bargi. Service ok. But polite and friendly. No draught beers. But down to gas problem nationwide. Recommended. Hint indian familys eating here.

I've got to say Bengal palace (isle of wight) has really stepped up there game. Much better than a couple of years ago. I wanted a slightly spicier bhuna and they made it perfectly, my balti was good too, the sag aloo was amazin. Really helpful on the phone too
