It was an unplanned stop in Kaspa's Desserts as we don't have that where we live and thought we will come here for a wee treat. One thing, don't let the prices make you feel you pay a lot but won't get much. It's not true. You get enough for the price. We had waffle with toppings and we were full after that. It tasted really good. When Partner and I come back to Nottingham we will defo come here again for more treats. You won't regret.... treat yourself. I am marathoner and I have my own food regime but if I come for sweet treat like that then everyone can. Fully recommend it!

The lovely Celine showed us to our table, and as first timers to kaspa's, helped us with the menu and offered up some suggestions. I nearly finished the tasty tasty Eton mess waffle and my niece polished off all her white chocolate indulgence. The portions are huge and the price is fair. We are coming again next payday

Firstly I would say I truly wish that the staff was truly more welcoming at the door. However, they was really helpful in regards where I should go to order and even polite. The banana and strawberry crepes with vanilla ice cream. I was please the warmth of the crepes glazed in in chocolate stripes. It taste wander fun and the ice cream creamy but not too sweet. I would recommend any one to go by. The prince was reasonably too. 😁

Clean restaurant, the food was good; (sundaes). I don't know if the air con is broken but it was super warm inside. I got my coffee delivered to the table but waited 30 mins for the ice cream before asking where it was. Seems there was a technical issue, the staff were cool about it and got our ice creams out to us eventually with a complimentary drink. Would visit again.

Greatest waffles I've had. Coffee was okay, but will definitely be having a milkshake next time I come. Would have been nice to have some fitting music play, as opposed to random grime. But ultimately you come for the desserts and that's what they excel at. I wouldn't call the staff operating the counter happy to be working there either which was a shame. Been a second time since hoping for a better experience, milkshake was great, and there was a different team in. However the experience with the staff was still the same, it would appear that poor customer service is a running theme here. Third times a charm, the deserts there was good as ever but the staff again... even a different team was working and every interaction with them was like pulling teeth.

Wonderful experience. I went with three work colleagues during our lunch break. A 10 minute walk there and back. The food was delicious, as you would expect. The service was quick and excellent and the staff friendly to boot!

Drastically understaffed. There was only one table of people in the store and it still took half an hour to get a single scoop of ice cream. The 2 staff there were desperately trying to keep up with online orders and one of them seemed like it was their first day, none of the ice cream flavours were labelled and they didn't know any of the flavours on offer. At some point while I was waiting an online order got dropped on the floor. It remained there, leaking ice cream as one staff member stared at it, looking lost. Truly a bizarre experience. When I got my ice cream it was nice at least!

Staff were friendly enough but I was not impressed with the venue. I went with my sister and nieces. They did have hand sanitiser and the Covid app QR code. But...flies everywhere 😣 AC may have helped...I have been to other dessert only places, never seen so many flies! Table and cutlery was sticky as if not cleaned properly or wiped with a dirty cloth as there were streaks on the table so I wiped it with my own anti-bacterial wipes. The deserts were good, especially the Chocolate Sundae and the cookie dough with ice cream. My sister was disappointed with the apple crumble...there was a sprinkle of crumble on apple puree with a thin pastry base. She thought it was an error but when we enquired, they said that's how it came. We think its a misleading description as you can tell from the photo.

Decent Kaspa’s in city centre. Indifferent service as once you’re seated they will bring out dessert and that’s the only communication you have with waiters. Didn’t have to wait too long for food. Would recommend if you’re looking for sweet things to have after having a meal somewhere else.

Kaspas is a great dessert place. They've got a good range of different desserts and lots of seats available to sit inside. The waffles are delicious and portions are plentiful! It can be a little expensive but worth the price, everytime we've been, we've always enjoyed what we've had and never had any complaints. Certainly worth a visit for any dessert lover.

Service is a little odd as you wait to be seated, we weren't asked if we'd been before, then shown to our table given a menu and told our table number, I had to ask for someone as thought was waiting to be served but no you go up to the counter order and pay then they bring it over barring that confusion which we now know for next time, we really enjoyed it, I had a pancake which came over still lovely and hot and my daughter ordered a ice cream sundae, which her eyes were bigger than her belly, I thought very well priced, clean and fast service past the starting point but now we know and so do you...

Good place for desserts and portion sizes are not tight. Can be busy, especially around 8pm on a Saturday evening. Seating is comfy and ideal for groups. There is more here than pancakes and ice team; the peanut butter stack is a rich treat. Been back here twice in 2 months.

A family friendly place, and by that I mean expect to have at least one loud kid at any one time. I had the hot cookie dough and it was delicious, if a bit sugary by the end. I don't think you'll need more than the 1 already provided scoop of ice cream. The place was always kept spotlessly clean. Went for food here for my friend's daughters 13th birthday. The waffles were nice but a lot of what we wanted to order wasn't avaliable due to stock. Staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered and the woman that we ordered from was rude and appeared to have zero customer service. Really HOT 🔥 also, which I'm not sure why as staff said they had air con when I asked so if u do go here for food you're best to wear ur swim suit.

I went to Kaspa's last week and it was very good.I order the Chunky choc cookie dough and I was not disappointed, so delicious that I had to another one before I left. The wait for the food was reasonable around 10 mins and the customer service from Ahmed, our server for the day, was amazing. I am impressed and would recommend anyone looking to eat on budget to go there.

Disappointed that the Reeses cooler advertised in the window is not what you get when you order. The poster is topped with cream and has little Reeses pieces on top. We received none of this just the cooler with no topping. I asked about it and was told oh its just an advertising poster. Is that not false advertising?? Yum yum yum! Please do not eat a thing before you go here! So many lovely pancake, waffle, ice cream options to choose from... It was a really hard decision and everything looks delicious! We went when it was busy but we were seated promptly and the staff were friendly and approachable. Only down side was the fact the venue didn't have table service but that is pretty minor considering our overall experience. Accessable and clean also! A must visit for those with a sweet tooth! The desserts are incredible. Not a massive choice but the options on the choices available are very good. Found it hard to choose which dessert to have. A little noisy with a lot of children, but understandable considering the type of establishment it is. Will definitely be going back, but will wait for school holidays to be over before I return. I’m unaware why the review before me, had complained about the staff not wearing masks or hairnets, as a customer, I can understand behind the counter is very warm and they try to wear it as much as possible, and they have the hair tied back too, so it’s short hair and the poor guy or kid, named Hamid, who has excellent customer service and cares about everyone knowing he shouldn’t be wearing a mask as he has breathing difficulties but still wears it as the leader of the team, I’ve seen, but the guy who had complained on here, clearly doesn’t accept the fact, they are following rules, and want to keep everyone safe

The beauty and taste of their dessert is unique. You cannot give less than 5 stars for this reason. It's a place you need to go to if you are in town, because it can definitely make your day brighter. But be aware: it's not so easy to customize your order, so even if the menu gives you this possibility, it looks like it's a mess for the employees to make it right. I think the reason is the till itself as it happened several times to us that the personalisation were all messed up and never with the same employee (like today we added strawberries to a crêpe and it came without it, so we had to send it back). So my suggestion is: stick to the original ones, they are delicious anyway

I love the idea of this place, but I wasn't impressed with the service, we went as a group of 4, 3 of us ordered and then they made our food while the 4th of our group waited to even order. Think the attitudes of the staff was really off putting and maybe we were unlucky because the deserts weren't bad and I'm obsessed with their glittery walls. There have been a few dessert places I have been to within the capital, and being away I was expecting a little less from what you would get in London. Not only was I surprised with with level of service, but the desserts came quickly, were great value for money, and the staff who served us were both really polite and friendly. I would give this place 5 stars as they deliver what it says on the tin, and they do it with a smile! Great stuff guys and thank you for the experience.

Good place for something with a sweet tooth. Very nice desserts but lack in staff remembering peoples orders and timing of orders. The orders were brought within a 15 min gap of each other, I ordered waffles with hot chocolate, the hot choc came 15 mins early my drink got cold by the time the waffles arrived. My friend ordered a milkshake but didn't arrive, had to stand up and remind them to make it. This place is very good and the desserts are 10/10 but they need to iron out the creases.

First off, the portions are generous, so order carefully. The place is busy, and seems popular with teens and families. We didn't have to wait to be seated and the venue is an American style waffle house kind of vibe. Once seated, you order from the till, as the food is brought over to you. Be aware that some dishes, like hot cookie dough, take extra time to prepare, so if you're in a rush, do check.

A pleasant, clean and modern, American diner-styled dessert restaurant, with eat-in, take away, and Deliveroo delivery options. Located a few minutes walk from the city centre, it's a great place to wander over to, after a nice meal or trip to town and treat yourself to something sweet. The menu options include ice creams, shakes, crepes, waffles and more. I'd recommend the waffles, but get the plain base, as having extra ingredients pre-baked in wasn't as nice in practise, as it admittedly did sound on the menu. Prices are moderate to reasonable at about 5 to 6 pounds for a dessert and 4 to 5 pounds for a shake. The staff were friendly and when we went on a weekday evening it wasn't too busy, and the wait for our food wasn't too long either. The portions are decently sized, and we almost couldn't finish ours! Overall I would recommend as an enjoyable occasional treat.

Top tip if you ask the staff behind the till - “can I have a Dorito sundae” they will give you a bag of Doritos and 3 scoops of your choice of gelato for half the price of the original price. After being heavily disappointed by Burger King (which I have previously covered), Kaspa's was roughly a 5 minute-walk away. For a Thursday evening, it was surprisingly quiet yet our food took a while to come. I went again with my family who were evidently traumatized from the events roughly half an hour before. After being shown a table to sit at, we had to move due to seeing a used cotton bud on the floor. When making our order we were told there was no vanilla ice cream which added to our disappointment for the day. When our food came, our order was slightly wrong but the staff were very apologetic and corrected our order promptly. The staff took care of us really well and provided an A1 playlist for our experience. Altogether, the food was nice and we paid with our refund from Burger King. A nice end to the trip to Nottingham. Will provide a review of our stay at St James' Hotel shortly.

Took my kid here for his 21st, food was good, a little sickly but unfortunately my ungrateful son wouldn't even give his mother a smile, his poor mother wasn't asking for a lot, he has no heart. Firstly, the good: the desserts are lovely. Sweet, creamy and very American. Staff are friendly and fairly responsive to requests. Second, the not-so good: SLOW! Although to be fair it may have been due to a log jam of customers and not enough seats. Also, the staff were not that clued up to their customers non-food needs. My niece dropped an earring and we ended up moving the (not inconsiderable weight) furniture to find it. This took about 20 mins of huffing and puffing and disturbing other customers. NOT ONCE did any staff even approach to ask if things were ok or even to challenge what we were doing. I could have been planting a bomb there and they would have been none the wiser! Not happy😠!

A really nice American style dessert restaurant with many delicious things to choose from. They main concept is to choose from a waffle, pancake or crepe and then add or choose from a list of toppings, such as different flavoured ice creams, chocolate sauces, and fruit or you can select from a premade selection. They also have some really tempting cakes on display which I haven't tried but look really good. A sweet tooth is a requirement to visit here.

Didnt want to serve us at big tables because he has cleaned them. Had to wait 15 minutes for nothing. Then went to the counter to place our order, forgot our table number. The staff was so rude to say they wont serve us if we dont know our table number. Also asked for tap water for drinks which never came. Maybe they forgot as they were too busy cleaning the place. Tbh I think they were rude because we came in a bit late on a friday night, but if you dont want the costumers to come in after 10pm, you should’ve put a big sign on the entrance that says “No order after 10pm”. Otherwise the food was good.

This was the first time I had ate there and it wasn't perfect, a long waiting time didn't please me, I personally had the hot cookie dough with vanilla ice cream which was good and also had a icecream milkshake consisting of cookie dough and chocolate fudge ice cream. It's texture was very thick and the icecream had not really blended in and settled with the flavour of the shake making it very unpleasant if you have time let the icecream melt and then have the shake and it makes the experience less unpleasant but if you are in an hurry don't order this item. I would consider this as a last resort for a scrumptious dessert.

This a really nice and comfortable place to enjoy American desserts. When you enter there will be a queue but the wait is worth it. They have a system similar to that of Nando's in that you get your table number and then queue up to pay. The two times that you have to queue is the only reason I am giving to 4 stars otherwise it would be 5. What I ordered wasn't a dish on the menu which didn't make it easy for the till work but, he handled it extremely well and got me exactly what I wanted. I ordered a waffle with pecan pie, toffee sauce and strawberry cheesecake! YUMMINESS!!

We visited here in an evening during the week It was relaxing and the desserts were lovely The service was OK too and the place was very clean . I would have no problem coming here again. The prices are reasonable for what you get . There were several groups of young people in with friends and it seems to attract a wide range of people .It's nice to be able to spend some time out in an evening without alcohol being served and an alternative to a pub.

I like heavenlys more better than kaspas because the place is more classy, kaspas is more of a teenager place but is still for all ages but more lively and is more busier. I always get a waffle because there probably the best dessert out of them all and they are a variety of drinks to choose. The waiting times can be from 10-40 mins wait or possibly more but once I had to wait 30 mins or more with a group of friends for our waffles. So if u want to get ur desserts fast go heavenlys if u want to wait and pay a little bit cheaper then go kaspas, I still recommend kaspas.
