Been to temptations couple of times now and love the back garden and their ice creams!! The owner is really lovely and the atmosphere if the shop is really nice too! Only been for ice cream and coffee but would love to try some other cooked dishes as well. The sponge cake we bought was ok but other than this it was really lovely! Their white chocolate raspberry ice cream is divine :) Will be back :)

Amazing, my new favourite place in Oxford for staff meetings and no doubt family birthdays. Food was brilliant and the staff helpful and friendly. Some great touches and the garden and meeting/party room is a hidden bonus.

The ham&cheese toastie did not have enough ham for the amount of bread, but the tuna toastie was really good. And I would 100% order the nutella fondue again! Decadent!

The quality of the naked waffles is enough to warrant 5 stars alone. Well balanced toppings, so that I didn’t feel the need of an insulin shot afterwards ;) Friendly and welcoming staff, good service and suitably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a sweet treat.

Came by last week to check out the new place in Summertown. To start with the positives, the food was great. The ice-cream, in particular, was phenomenal. And it's very nice to see the waffles and crepes be made fresh. The cocktail I had was also very good and the open space made it easy and comfortable to talk to other customers if I wanted. Though, weirdly, no music playing during my time there, which made the atmosphere a bit awkward to begin with. It was later in the day and they are newly opened so maybe they didn't have the license yet? The staff are friendly but, during my time there, were clearly a bit overwhelmed by the amount of things they had to do. A couple of the staff were young and showed inexperience. Bit of a wait to be seated and served. Then again, I can't imagine the stress of having to make fresh food (that needs to get out to the table ASAP), make fresh drinks, be host for the front and do table service for what is a very long restaurant. Plus being open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. All in all, it's a very ambitious place and I'm hoping they find their strengths and cut back a bit. I'd go back to see how they improve on what is a very solid foundation.

Enjoyed our first visit. Huge menu so something for everyone. Lots of choice of ice creams, plus waffles, crepes, milkshakes, cakes and brownies. Even have chocolate fondue. Fresh and clean decor. Great to finally have an ice cream parlor in Summertown.

Fantastic experience. The desserts were amazing and the portion sizes were perfect! Simple details such as the heart shaped waffles emphasised the presentation. Would definitely recommend over other dessert venues such as Creams. Also a very intimate space with a warming atmosphere.

Had the most delicious ice cream sundae! Temptations is a lovely addition to Summertown. I visited with a friend who returned the following week with her whole family. The staff were friendly, everything on the beautiful menu was tempting and we were impressed with the options for those with food allergies. Will definitely be back.

Very good waffles, cookie dough and drinks. Will be coming back. May be useful to put a flag on the tables that have not yet ordered as the staff seemed quite busy. You can take the flag away once someone has put the order in. That could help improve the system.

Originally I went in for Ice - Cream with colleagues which was great and loved that GF cones were available and clear on which ice-cream is GF too. I then took my daughter on a separate occasion as a treat after she spent the day at a local holiday club and it was disastrous. Staff clearly young, inexperienced and have no direction/order. All milling about looking fairly clueless - one women seemed to be doing all the work behind the counter but not really directing the rest of the staff. I had GF carrot cake - first piece was stale, it was replaced for me and I was offered a free drink. My daughter loved her waffles. Wasn't busy but food took ages - again i think down to lack of direction/management. Has the chance to be a great spot - but staff need some serious work. Would go back to grab a takeaway ice-cream but not sure i would return to sit in again as wasn't the best experience.
