Reviews of KimJi Korean Restaurant
A. P.
An absolute gem of a restaurant. The food was superb and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Regardless whether you are a world traveller or have never had Korean food before this place is a must. It is quite a small place so I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Though there is a great cocktail bar over the road if you have to wait an hour for a table!
R. B.
What a delightful discovery. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. The menu is varied. The food is delightful in flavour, colour and presentation. The service is outstanding. The prices are very reasonable. We found a right little gem here and will return again and again.

A fantastic place to get a first try of Korean cuisine. The staff made us feel very welcome and the seating was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is located on a quiet street just off Fishergate so it’s easy to get to and away from the noise of the main street. The food was amazing and I look forward to paying another visit the next time I’m in Preston!

A quaint restaurant with a succinct menu providing authentic Korean munchies. The booking was done online and I think it's great for a friendly meet up. It's small and could easily be booked out for a group to enjoy exclusively. The food was delicious, filling and not too salty. Will definitely return.

My partner and I went for Valentine's Day and it was superb. They had a set menu and we loved it. Don't think we left any food at all! Lovely staff too.
s.
Very tasty food as always made and prepared to a high standard
Staff chatty and friendly aslo asked about any allergies
The lemon tea was a new 1 to try enjoyed the taste was fair sweet and not bitter which was interesting
Hoping to try the mango chicken when the chef as got it perfect

Really great find on Hinckley Street. Quality Korean food, great decor and excellent service. Bookings are recommended although walk in is available.

KimJi is a hidden gem in Preston, every time we visit it always feels like we have wandered out of Lancashire, this is in due to its more cosmopolitan feeling location near Winkley Square and it’s cozy restaurant. The food it always amazing and reasonably priced, i recommend ordering plenty of sides to share along side your main to give you the best experience and nobody would be disappointed in the KimJi Fried Chicken!

Short review: Umame galore! One of the best places in Preston. Excellent bulgogi & KFC (Korean Fried chicken)
Serves samgyetang.
Detailed review:
The best way to make safe choices with food is to ask friends what are their top 5 must eat places in a city.
KimJi figured in quite a few top 5 lists in Preston and I am glad I tried it.
I did notice a board on the high street stating Korean food on Winckley street, but did not pay much heed to it until now.
A steep flight of stairs greets one as soon as one opens the restaurant door.
The kitchen and delivery service waiting area is on the ground floor, whereas the seating is up the stairway (to heaven?)
We visited KimJi twice in the last month and must say, the ambience is pleasant and servers/waiters are warm, amicable, despite the multiple oscillations up and down the stairs. (Special shout out to Max, who was fantastic.)
The menu is simple and not crowded, so one is not baffled with the magnitude of options and I am hoping they keep it that way.
The crispy, spicy squid was interestingly delightful. In comparison, the Korean Fried chicken was a burst of sweet-salt-strong umami - soy flavour which we did enjoy. The pork dumplings were simple, crispy but caution with the accompanying soy sauce, which has enough sodium to suffice a lifetime Recommended Dietary Allowance. A tiny drop is sufficient!
The Pork Bulgogi, which looked delectable, was my favourite meal and the star attraction were the accompanying sauces. It is a well balanced dish with powerful flavours. Again, strong umami-salt-sweet combination.
Samgyetang- Korean summer soup to fight fire with fire.
This Ginseng chicken soup is an entire small 400gm stuffed chicken in clear broth.
Needless to say, if one is not a fan of bones and poultry anatomy, one needs to steer clear of this meal. It can be cumbersome, but the protein is delicious and worth a try.
The soup is in a way like a Captain Planet meal. Each element on it's own tastes bland, expecially the broth. But when the 5 elements combine (broth-chicken-ginseng-rice-salt&pepper sauce) they synchronise well to form a delectable soup which grows on you mid way during the meal, becomes enjoyable and you will be sad once its finished.
We have not tasted the noodle soup & the bibimbap yet, maybe when we visit next time.
Overall, we recommend KimJi as we have always left the restaurant satisfied. Must explore, at least once.
Manchester and Preston are miles away, both geographically as well as with regards to the culinary scene. But KimJi is a step in the right direction and should be Prestons go to place for Korean cuisine.

Amazing food!! I ate here just before lockdown 2 and everything was great! The staff are absolutely wonderful! Cerys was so attentive!! We had the chicken udon, bibimbap, kimchi, and rice cakes, and the KFC… omg the best!! I understand the hype now!! We also had mango mochi ice cream, my first time having it and it was great! All mouth-wateringly delicious!! Deffo a 5 star restaurant.
R. P.
The best restaurant I have ever been to! The food was so amazing that I could have cried! The waitress was the most delightful person I've ever met! 🇰🇷
P. S.
First time at this restaurant after a recommendation from colleagues. It did not disappoint. It's a small menu but well worth it and totally delicious. The place is small with quite a nice atmosphere so I advise booking ahead. We look forward to going again.
D. B.
Amazing food, lovely atmosphere. Waitresses were friendly, but very flustered/inexperienced so kept forgetting to send our orders to the kitchen, which lead to a long wait time. However, I will definitely visit again, as the food tastes fresh, authentic and is memorable.
m. m.
Absolutely loved it here, a real gem the decor is beautiful and the lunch menu amazing value for the money and the food was amazing 👏 10/10

Oh my actual gosh, words cannot describe how great this place is...but I will try.
From the moment we entered and was shown to our table to the moment we left, our experience was nothing but exceptional. The staff were genuinely friendly (the kids you can't teach), the food was beyond delicious and the price was more than reasonable for the level of service you receive. Of all the dishes we tried, if I were to go back again, I couldn't tell you which one I would pick. They were all packed full of flavour and unique in their own way, I couldn't single a specific dish out as my favourite. The service received was splendid. Joe, our server, was more than attentive, genuinely nice and pleasant, extremely knowledgeable (we both didn't have a clue), and was everything you expect and more. He really did make the visit a lot more special. Thank you
If I could go above 5 stars, this would definitely deserve it.
G. E.
The food was fabulous really different and delicious. But I have marked it lower because the need to do some housekeeping the place is filthy dust everywhere window sills ornaments and interior in general. Such a shame because the people and the food are fantastic. Sorry Greg
.
H. F.
Food was amazing. Highly recommend the fried chicken
E. M.
Food is amazing! Definitely 5 star
Setting a bit crammed, more cantina style
Menu didn't have some of the main dishes, and one of the desserts, so disappointed about the choice. Also not had enough korean beer on a Saturday night (maybe problems with supply); service staff pleasant and knowledgeable about the dishes, but hesitant and felt inexperienced
Overall, a pleasant experience, great value for money, I will definitely go again despite the little drawbacks
It would be nice to have all the menu items, especially on a Saturday night!
A. B.
Stunning and delicious food. Served quickly and the staff were very attentive. Would totally recommend the seafood bibambap which is a traditional Korean rice dish. Huge portion, very filling and super tasty. My first time here and it will not be much last.
M.
Cute hidden place, halal food available - had lunch bento boxes 8/10

Went here on the 13/06/2021 and just wow. Never been to Preston before never mind a Korean Restaurant and needless to say was blown away by the food and the service. Staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Me and a friend had booked a table and found it a little small for ourselves, after asking if we could be moved to a bigger table next to us the friendly server (i forget his name, apologies) was more than happy to move us and cleaned everything down before hand.
Food was out of this world, arrived in good time, piping and hot and oh so delicious. I had the chili calimari starter and a beef (again forget the name of the dish) main course that came with lettuce, rice and this incredible sauce. Friend was also very impressed and loved her dishes.
Another note I would like to add are the beers they offer, I had some kind of Buddha Beer (believe its imported from China), you could choose between a Japanese, Korean and Chinese beer - the Buddha beer was just perfect for the spicy food and hot weather we had that day and would highly recommend if you get a chance to try.
Needless to say this restaurant has more than impressed me and the staff were incredible - not always easy to find such wonderful staff and food so please, if you're considering trying out a restaurant in the area, try KimJi! You wont regret it - I myself cannot wait to come back again and have another amazing meal (Im based in Wigan but the trip is more than worth it) Located in an amazing part of Preston, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you again KimJi for the amazing experience!
Z.
The Korean fried chicken is on another level. But, the rest is mediocre at best. I bet the person cooking the food isn't from Korea as authentic Korean food is way better than what they are serving. Oh and the owner needs to pull out his/her wallet and hire more staff. Poor waiters/ waitresses are rushed off their feet. It's not a good impression for customers to see them so stressed
D. S. S. P.
I have tried Korean food here for the first time and I felt the cook has put his soul into making the food. Absolutely delicious. Soul food.
I have tried the lunch meal option: Kimji fried chicken with chicken rice. My wife got the vegetarian option.
Good service. Distancing +track and trace in place (Oct 2020).
Parking: I have parked at the fisher gate car park.
Very delicious food. #RecommendedbySollyDj

Lovely Korean restaurant. I have been twice and have not been let down by the food or the staff. The food is prepared with care and presented beautifully. Staff are attentive and are knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. The price is more than reasonable, however I feel some dishes offer more value than others.
I would really love to see this place expand in terms of space to accommodate more people and become less cramped.
A. 0.
All dishes we ordered were delicious. We sat on the first floor which service were a little slow. Many Korean restaurants I visited gave small Vegetable Side Dishes free of charge (same as in Korea) but not here.
J. M.
I heard about this adorable little Korean Restaurant from a University Student that raved about the meals here so we decided to go for a nice little date here.
We both had a Starter and Mains and a few bottles of Beer and Cider. The waiter service wasn't terrible but wasn't amazing we had a table on arrival. We had few minutes to choose what to drink and when it came to ordering our food or paying the Bill, it took too long to be served.
I ate the Beef BBQ the first time which was delicious and, then the Chicken which was ever better on our second visit.
Over all I'll give the table service a 3 out of 5
and the food an amazing 5 out of 5.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND VISITING.
C. S.
Really enjoyed my meal and personally thanked the chefs. Good value and great freshly cooked food. Would highly recommend.
L. B.
The food was good. However, the staff were very slow. We got there around 2.30pm and we left around 4.30. It took 10 to 15 to get our drinks ordered. I had to ask someone to get our drinks as I was really thirsty and we were waiting for too long. They were not even that busy, we would see some stuff keep going into the room next to the till. The staff needs to be more alert. They need to look around if customers are ok.
My husband also asked for the spicy kimchi when we ordered our starter. This did not come even after having 2 parts of our starter. When we asked a guy, he gave us a kimchi and just went off but it was the wrong one. My husband told the lady he wanted the spicy one this didn't come until we started eating our mains.
We came here from Lancaster as I had been wanting to eat here because there's no Korean restaurant in Lancaster. However, I'm not sure we'll be coming back as I don't want to have the same experience as this.
M. M.
Exceptional lunch menu for just over £7. Food was glorious, service bit slow, waited 30-40 mins before we ate. They were busy and food is made fresh, the chef told me later and apologised but would have been nice to have had the starters first to break up the wait, instead it all came together and i had to go move the car as could only do 1 hour parking with no return in same area, so that soured the lunch for me as felt rushed and stressed! Will defo give it another try tho and let them know I'm parking up for 1 hour. The food was divine tho. Brown rice tea tasted of mushrooms but was lovely 😁
I. D.
My son booked a meal for mother's day there. I didn't know what to expect as I'm not familiar with Korean cuisine. The deco is in keeping with the culture and the food is outstanding. I loved every single bite of my starter, main and pudding. Lovely attentive staff, nothing seems to be an issue.
M. K.
Currently working away from home and thought I'd try this place. The food was absolutely incredible and for the price was 100% worth it and would recommend.
Waitress was a lovely girl with a great smile and made me feel very welcome.
Will be visiting everytime I come.
P. B.
First time trying Korean cuisine and we were pleasantly surprised. Not a huge menu but everything was fresh and tasty. The service was good and we didn't have a long wait. Will definitely return.
S. M.
Such a lovely place. The food maybe a little unfamiliar but is utterly delicious. The welcome is warm and the service friendly and informative. The mains are delicious but the starters are out of this world 😍
Very highly recommended.
J. A.
As a first time visitor, I was highly impressed with the food and the service provided. Amazing food, a definite must visit.
h. g.
This was are first time eating Korean food and we were not disappointed . Fabulous food , great service and value for money. Can't wait to go back. Thank you x
M. S.
A friend recommended it and since then I have been here several times. Loved the food, the atmosphere, the cozy place and the friendly staff.
G. B.
Absolutely wonderful place. The most delicious food and we shall definitely be visiting again and telling all our friends about it too.
J.
Great food, their lunchtime offer included a small choice of mains and sides. Even if had been full price it's more than worth it. The staff were very attentive and overall I highly recommend. Preston needs more places like this.
F. B.
Absolutely loved it! It was cosy inside and the service was incredible too! The member of staff that served us; Leah, couldn't do enough for us! Despite all the Covid restrictions we felt very welcome! The food was also fantastic! Would highly recommend this place to anyone! Even upon leaving we were warmed by a smile and "thankyou" by another member of staff!
S. B.
The ultimate amazing food at a reasonable price and lovely staff. A proper hidden gem in Preston to be proud of.
M. B.
Only ever had a takeaway from KimJi however it has always been excellent and delivered on time. The KFC boxes are delicious!
g. w.
Food was nice when it finally arrived, slight mess up with passing our order on to the kitchen as girl was finishing. Not restaurants fault. Will try again.
J. F.
Just amazing. The food is really lovely, beautiful flavours and they sell Buddha beer!!
S. T.
First class food. Beautiful, fresh, well presented and most of all delicious. I will be recommending this gem of a restaurant to all my friends and family. The service was outstanding and the young lady that looked after us was as polite, helpful, friendly and professional as any we have experienced.
10/10 all round.
N. A.
Yummy food and great staff.
Also, the best thing is their chicken is halal!!
I had a very fantastic new experience :)
A. C.
Chilled out atmosphere. Cosy. Lovely food. Staff were friendly. Definitely stands out. Possibly a new regular for me. Time will tell. Top marks.
S. M.
Such great food!
C. b.
Had 2 course lunch special which was reasonably priced, KFC starter very tasty but not hot ie temperature. Main course sizzling rice good size portion but bland as too much rice to meat & veg ratio. Main course chicken with udon noodles tasty but small portion as a main.
R. M.
Amazing food, lovely waiter and really friendly atmosphere, busy so I would book (also amazing vegetarian options!)
M. H.
Hidden gem in Preston. Better use map to find the place. The spicy chicken and samgyetang were worth trying.
d. f.
Delicious food well presented, service was surprisingly fast. Drinks were quite small which meant we had to buy several
S. C.
When we first got there, the waitresses were attentive to our needs as a young family.
As the food arrived came hot and tasty. No real complaints there. We did have to wait a while for desserts but was explained that it Take way side got busier, so our order got delayed.
What took me by surprise, is that if you paid by card; if you tipped the waitresses do not get them unless its cash.
We didn't have any cash on us.... Like most ppl these days.
She was very nice about it. The overall experience was average. Food was good... Maybe management needs to review the tipping process.
T. H.
Great food, don't think there is anything else like this in Preston.
I. T.
Great food and lovely staff. We got the lunchtime offer, I'd definitely recommend!
H. C.
I ordered the Korean fried Chicken box with noodles after the very helpful staff advised upto 90% of the menu is dairy free and it did not disappoint. We loved the food and will be making it a regular treat. Could not recommended the food and service highly enough.
A. S.
Went with my husband yesterday food was amazing and staff catered to our preferences well and recommended us some of the best food we tasted. Definitely will come back soon
m. k.
unfortunately there wad a staff shortage which meant half of the menue not being available. service time wad hindered also 1 1/2 hours for starters to arrive. We were on the verg of leaving.
When it did arrive some of it was luke warm others hot. it was good standard though and very tasty.
i would like to visit when it has a full compliment of staff
D.
Amazing Korean food, absolutely worth a visit if you're a fan of Asian food in Preston ✨
E. W.
We tried to go here for dinner but it was booked up, so we went back for lunch the next day and just about managed to get in. We ordered from the lunch menu, which was very good value, and both our dishes were really tasty. The waitress was charming, and overall it was a great experience. We would definitely go back (but book in advance this time!)
P. J. (.
Services were awesome and the dishes were great. Yes dishes, I sampled @ four different appetizers along with my main course.
H. D.
Excellent food, great service and nice surroundings so close to town. Will be back again!
J. G.
Very nice food, very clean and polite staff.
A. J.
Ordered takeaway, food was ready promptly and super tasty as always. This was one of our go tos when we lived locally, now it's the occasional treat. Please open a Lancaster venue!
Update January 2022
Visited for lunch, food was tasty, fresh and so good! Unfortunately the service was super slow, there was only one waiter serving all the tables, they were clearly rushed off their feet. We waited almost 20 minutes to get our bill.
Update February 2022
Unfortunately portions from the regular menu are now smaller than previously for the same price, items from our order was forgotten too, they've changed the bulgulogi sauce too! :(
C. F.
Amazing food and excellent service, we ordered food for collection - had a wander and came back after 10 minutes and was ready!
P. S The waitress was truly a gorgeous human, so polite and just radiated positive energy.
Will definitely return whenever I'm out and about in Preston, thank you so much xxxx
S. R.
Found on Google. Glad we did, food was really good. Recommend the dumplings and bibimbap. Also reasonable prices.
L. C.
Really great food and friendly knowledgeable staff who can advise on the menu.
P. H.
Great tasting and smelling food. The prices are super reasonable and the staff are great! I'll definitely be coming back with friends!
M. K.
Food is amazing although not the biggest choice, portions not big, prices are little bit high.
C. W.
Absolutely amazing food! The staff were helpful and attentive. The food came out very quickly and tasted amazing I’ll definitely recommend it to my family and friends and will be back within the near future!
Truly a top find in Preston
R. S.
Since covid hit at the beginning of our relationship this was the first time we've been on a night out with my partner. We've never had Korean food before and I have to say, we are definitely going back!
When I got my starter (crispy pancakes with kimchi) the waitress apologised saying its a bit overcooked and the chef is making me a new one for free. They could have gone away with it as I had no idea what I'm eating, but they decided to make me a new one. It was delicious! The main course was big enough, nicely presented and freshly made.
The restaurant was busy, but the staff made us feel welcomed and looked after. Very polite and helpful.
We couldn't eat dessert as we've been full at that point, so we have to go back soon!
Thank you for your wonderful work, it was highly appreciated! ❤️
C. B.
Service was great and restaurant is lovely. Relaxed atmosphere. We celebrated friends’ joint birthday celebration and they brought out two watermelon cocktails on the house which was lovely :) food is amazing and will definitely be back.
L. L.
Came back here after a while, I love the new decor, the new way of plating the food, and the staff (Jess was our waitress) were amazing as usual! Never disappointed when I come here!!
N. M.
Went there today and after seeing they had no umbrella for outdoor seating, we still decided to stay and eat. It was my girlfriends birthday and she was set on eating here.
What followed was 2 hours of us having some of the best food in the city, whilst I held an umbrella up to cover us to stay dry. Throughout all of this, the waitress continually expressed their apologies and couldn't do anything better than she did. The owner came out to give us tea and a larger umbrella as ours was tiny. Whole time checking on us, seeing if anything was ok and giving us plenty of "nah, i'm out" opportunities.
Food is amazing, and can speak from experience that the inside is amazing too. Got plenty of laughs, a funny story, and a great meal. Couldn't ask for more.
j. j.
Really enjoyed the food from the all you can eat £16.95 menu. Nice staff.
S. M.
I felt like something different to my usual takeout, so decided to try KimJi. I ordered the chicken bibimbap, the pork dumplings and king prawns tempura and it was definitely one of the best takeout meals I've ever had! Even in a plastic container, it was beautifully presented, and it tasted absolutely amazing.
I cant wait for restaurants to open so I can sit in and get the full dining experience!
M.
It was our first visit here for my birthday. Food was lovely and served quickly. A favourite dish was the kfc chicken followed by the seafood bibamap. Staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us!
R. C.
Despite the slower service (we were a party of 11) the food was excellent. Our waiter was very polite and helpful and more than one of our group commented on how good he was. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was despite the seemingly small menu. Very few complaints apart from the starters not being piping hot and also my squid could have done with the membrane removing prior to cooking. It's a quick job to do. The short rib soup was fantastic. Loads of flavour and a generous portion of beef. Combined with glass noodles it was top notch. The pancakes are to die for. Overall I would be very happy to return.
F. L.
Amazing food and quite possibly the friendliest waiting staff I've come across !
Been two or three times. Definitely my favourite food place in Preston.
A. P.
Heard about this place from friends and finally got a chance to visit recently and found out they weren't exaggerating. Staff were really nice and friendly, took time to explain different parts of the menu and were very welcoming. On too of that the food is amazing. Great spot for a nice lunch or quick dinner, they've got great deals as well.
D. L.
Excellent hidden gem in Preston! Managed to accommodate a table of 7 even though it isn't the biggest restaurant. Food was excellent - well presented and bursting with flavour. Very reasonable price too - worked out at roughly £18pp for a starter, main and 2 drinks. Friendly & helpful staff. Great experience.
D.
Superb food and drinks!
This really is a hidden gem.
Many vegetarian options available.
L. W.
Went to the new one in Ramsbottom for friend's birthday and it was amazing! the food was fab and the girl who served us was so friendly even tho we were super loud! We had a lovely night really enjoyed it thank you
P.
Lovely food and great service. I had the bibimbap, huge portion but the flavour was phenomenal
E.
Amazing service from Carmen! She treated us really well, like royalty. The food is ok
L. D.
I cannot recommend them more, I have been over 15 times since wandering in last year. The staff are always friendly and efficient, the food is authentic and cooked beautifully, everything is clean and tidy on every visit there is no fault I can give it! Prices are also more than reasonable! 5 stars all round!
B.
Great Korean food and really lovely staff, just a slightly longer wait for food than is ideal both times I've been but still well worth a visit and easily worth the wait. Hope to head back soon.
A. S.
Good atmosphere, staff was super friendly and helpful!
The food was amazing, we ordered the Korean BBQ chicken and Tempura.
I can't get enough of the Tempura, I wish I ordered two plates of it.
The BBQ chicken was also good, very soft and easy on the stomach, more than happy to recommend to those interested in trying something different!
Keep up the amazing work KimJi!
S. P.
Food is great and staff are lovely. 김치찌개 is so tasty I always come for it
O. F.
Enjoyed our first visit here and will be coming back. Great tasting food, great presentation and for a good price. The only down side was the service being slow which appeared to be due to low staffing levels rather than the staff themselves. However, the food more than made up for the wait!
A. R.
The food is so tasty. We went for lunch and got the two course deal. It was presented in a wooden box which was really cool. Nice staff. Cute restaurant. Good value for money
M. W.
Tried this Korean Restaurant for the first time 9/10/2021. What a fab place. The food was delicious and the staff are great. Well deserves 5 stars 🙂
J.
Delicious food. Offer Veggie and vegan options
A. W.
Eaten here twice so far and each time it has been excellent. I’m so glad Preston finally has a great Korean restaurant. The food is fantastic and the servings are really good for the price. It can get busy and a little loud at times (definitely make a reservation), but despite that, the staff are always friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy working there. I enjoy eating here and would definitely recommend the bibimbap!

Nice little restaurant in Preston, I went on the Sunday all you can eat menu, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was good my only issue was we only got one portion of the chicken because they had ran out and we tried to order a main that they didn't have but the food we did get was fantastic, especially the pork dumplings. Well worth a visit.
M. B.
I'm so sad I didn't take photographs as I rushed into eating but it was the best takeaway I've ever eaten as I got food delivered. I highly recommend the korean fried chicken, so crispy, so juicy and the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. Also tried the beef bulgogi (I think it's called) which was also very nice. I've never had any kind if korean food before but always wanted to and it did not disappoint. I intend to keep this place in business by going regularly.
K. M.
Excellent quality food at great prices. Will be returning again soon.
K. D.
Such beautiful food and great staff
J. H.
Great restaurant, lovely homely atmosphere and delicious food, staff are super nice, prompt service, perfect little spot if you love Korean cuisine. Even got tips on how to eat some of the food in the traditional way. Would recommend to anyone.
R. D.
Never had Korean before. Very cosy without being cramped. Staff were great. No complaints at all

I've been twice now, and ordered delivery once, and each time has been amazing. It's hard to find Korean food without travelling pretty far, or doing some side-street searching in Manchester, so I'm really glad they're in Preston, and hope they stay!
The Kimji Fried Chicken is, of course, one of the best dishes, and I'd definitely recommend the beef bulgogi. Fresh, delicious-tasting food, and the restaurant itself is light and open, despite being a little small. I haven't had any issues with the wait staff, but then I've visited during lunch hours, so it might get much busier in the evening.
The food is excellent, and reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly too. The restaurant is in a great location, just off the high street. Definitely give it a try!
E. C.
Great place to enjoy good Korean food. You will be warm welcomed as you enter into the restaurant. It's new restaurant and it is working well and had great food available to try out. The menu is not very big, thus, it helps you to pick your food quicker. Trust me if you have not had many Korean style dishes then you will be able to try a new dish that you have not had before. Just give a go and try out this lovely Korean restaurant.

Incredible meal and staff, went on a Sunday night. We had great service and the food was extremely tasty at a very good price.
Would highly reccomend to anyone. As there is something for everyone.

First experience of Korean food. The bibimbap is wonderful.

My favourite takeaway in Preston! They're more than happy to work around special instructions and the food is always a brilliant quality! I buy from them weekly!
H. A.
Just been to this hidden gem of a restaurant with my nieces and sister. We ordered a selection of seafood and vegetarian starters and mains and each one was delectable. The service was both speedy and very friendly. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend this to other foodies.

I arrived at around 6pm with my daughter. I have been here a couple of times, but only for lunch. I usually choose from the lunch menu and opt for the Bibimbap. Today I opted for the Bulgogi dishes and a couple of starters.
The restaurant was full except for one table. I felt sorry for the ONLY waiter serving 9 tables by himself. He was pleasant and polite even though he was rushed off his feet. I can relate as I am a chef in the catering industry myself.
I think the restaurant should invest in order pads instead of scraps of paper.
I tried the pork dumplings which were tasty. Fried pork dumplings with a moist filling. My daughter chose the mixed vegetable tempura. The starters came quite promptly and I could not help but embarrassed that the mixed vegetable tempura only consisted of 2 deep fried battered onion rings, 2 slices of battered deep fried carrots and 2 slices of deep fried battered cucumber with a light soy sauce dip. How they could charge £4-95 for this I felt victim to a crime. The pork dumplings were in fact cheaper!!!
The main courses were fine and were of good value. All in all a good meal and would go again. Albeit for lunch as the lunch menu offers great value and is always tasty including starters in the price.
Y.
Legit kimchi jiggae and bibimbap! They even have samgyetang! Have been craving for real Korean jiggae, glad I found them to tick my craving near the lake district. We will be back for sure.
K. E.
We have been several times now & the food/service has been consistently excellent. We've had the main menu and also tried the lunch menu, both giving value for money & very tasty dishes. Even the Carolina Reaper Kimchi was excellent!!
I can't fault this place, we'll be returning customers and I highly recommend you pay a visit.

(Translated) This restaurant is mainly Korean food, but the layout of the restaurant seems to use the wrong Japanese style. It's a Sunday when you go there, you can eat whatever you want. So, just choose this one.
The food is actually pretty good. The portion of stone rice is big. It’s just that every time you order, you can only order one thing per person, that is, if there are four people, you can only order 4 things at a time. thing. You can’t order the main course after eating the appetizer, and then go back to eat the appetizer after eating the main course~ Tongbui Qu can order before seeing you eating and drying. The worst thing is that the food is very slow. This is really about to deduct points~
