Waffles was nice, a lot of gelato flavors to try,ambiance is okay, Ordered waffle with some gelato.. just disappointed that the strawberry toppings was not as fresh. It was like cut fresh but soaked in water all day that was just drained to top. It would be really nice if the fruits were cut fresh.. and not soaked in water... thats the part that off my experience not able to finish my plate. They do look pretty but not as amazing taste wise. Definitely can improve Went with some friends to try the place . The creep version was just okay, hanging pass the plate...taste not really memorable. Staff wise were friendly

A massive range of ice creams which are yum and another huge range of waffles and crepes and cake slices. The food was delicious but also very sweet and sickly. My waffle defeated me at the half way point so unless you are an eating champion American don't get greedy like I did!

Loads of amazing different kind of flavours to try and love in one roof, for a decent price. Around £5 - 8 pounds and some little extras are 50p more ie (Cream, Ice-cream) My favourite is the banana & cookie crepe, the flavours were delicious and exquisite. Couldn't off been more happy with spending time here with friends or family.

Waffles were lovely as always. We managed to get a table as no online booking available but we had to wait for them to be cleaned. Waited half an hour queueing to order and pay but the poor staff were rushed off their feet! Clearly not enough staff when they know that August has been manic everywhere on Mon-Wed with the half price a scheme. Brilliant value at half price. But definitely needed more staff. Will certainly go back as totally yummy and staff were polite and coped well under pressure!

It is a beautiful venue. Clean, retro-fifties style, modern tunes, nice staff. But I just don't rate the ice cream, which is the point of the place. It's okay. Average. Nothing to write home about. Beautifully presented. Gives you a sugar rush. Kids seem to love it. It sucks to have tasted far better gelato, as it's the ice cream that takes the place down from Excellent to Okay.

In terms of food, there is always a large variety of ice-cream flavours, waffles, sundaes as well as cold and hot drinks. The place has a good amount of tables even if there are more customers, however it needs to be kept more clean. For example on my visit today, there was a bigger amount of water leaking from the ice-cream fridges creating a big puddle where the staff had only put a yellow board to advise customers of the potential slippery area. However the staff didn’t seem to be bothered to have someone mop the area, considering there were just 2-3 customers coming inside at a time and the whole place was empty. There was a mom with her toddlers in front of me whose feet could’ve gotten wet around the fridges if they were with open shoes.

My experience at Sprinkles was an interesting one to put it lightly. The menu choice was okay and the quality of the items served were great, however the management and effort of the staff was poor. In particular, a lady in a white shirt who I presumed was the manager made no effort to help the rest of the staff even when under a lot of stress from the influx of customers. She was not helpful nor friendly and made the mood overall a bit melancholy. I hope the staff are treated with a bit more appreciation and a new manager is put in place.

Not my ideal sort of Eatery frankly. But will always appeal to a sweettooth child - or teenager. Can't say the place seemed spotlessly clean, but the ice-creams displayed in the glass counter do make them all the more desirable. Food was great my son especially enjoyed it! However the store is very understaffed, I felt quite sorry for the poor young man and girl who were working their buts off trying to reduce the queue. Meanwhile a woman wearing white was just standing their behind the counter doing absolutely nothing to help the 2 workers. I honestly have no idea what she was doing there and I don’t think she knew either. Hats off to the boy and girl workers who dealt with the busy store!

Delicious ice cream as expected but portions are much smaller than they used to be. I asked the server to add a bit more to mine as the scoops were tiny. For some reason they gave us a one scoop sized cup for our two scoops so even though they were tiny, they hardly fit in. Ordered hot drinks , waited 11minutes on a non busy afternoon, was told would be another 5 minutes , had a bus to catch , manager refused refund , reckoned 16 minutes for 2 coffees and a hot chocolate was not unreasonable time to wait . I disagree and the fact they’d forgotten someone else’s order altogether shows that the manager who was extremely rude is also not up to the job. Totally opposite to the manager the young lady that served our children their ice creams was both helpful and very polite hence the 3 Stars are for her .

It's okay, I guess? There's a really wide range of products and the food looks really pretty. The gelato is good and there's a good range of sorbets too. The waffles/cookie dough/etc though are pretty bland and not really worth paying for, and it's sometimes a bit sticky/dirty. Do go and try the gelato, but save some money and skip the rest.

Great place for ice cream and desserts. This photo was taken at almost 7pm in the Male toilets. Generally since Eat Out to Help Out, the resturant has been busy, with limited distancing and no plastic divider screens. Tables not cleared regularly. Staff making mistakes with the till system. Staff are rushing around with no time to think. Hasn't always been like this, hopefully only temporary.

We popped in for "breakfast" ice creams (child's birthday treat). We had never been to Sprinkles before, so we weren't quite sure of the procedure. Most of the ice cream/gelato places we go to offer greeters who seat you, offer menus and explain the process. Not here. There were 2 staff behind the counter who ignored us. We wandered about until we found a pile of menus on a table and made our selections. We ordered at the counter, including ice cream sundaes, coffee, ice cream floats, cake etc. The server seemed surprised when we wanted to "eat in". We found our own way to a table. Service was quick. The coffee was good. Many of the items ordered had failed on description (e.g. "vanilla soda" was in fact lemon and vanilla. "Chocolate cake" was chocolate and coffee etc.) They didn't have one of the items ordered, so had to reselect. None of the children ate theirs. All of us were disappointed, apart from the coffee drinker. Staff seemed confused when we requested toilet paper (there was none in either of the bathrooms). Staff were pleasant but unenthusiastic. Tables were wiped with a damp cloth, but no cleaning spray was used. We'd probably go back for a takeaway cone of gelato if we were passing, as the gelato itself was very good quality, with some amazing flavours.

On a Saturday late in January, Sprinkles was a welcome refuge from cold, damp air. The interior, however, had a poor climate for the 60+. Modern music was, by any standard, over loud and, believe it or not, mood lighting at the counter pulsed on and off. The ladies/disabled toilet had become unisex because the gents was out of order although neither was marked to indicate this. The food and drink was, as it happens, fine.

Whenever you are here in Southampton don't miss this place. They have all kinds of ice cream. The one I like the most is the waffles menu. It is always packed during the summer but they have a branch in Bargate. The place is near a park and is an ideal place to meet with friends and family hangouts. Have some sundaes, ice cream, crepes or waffles. I gave it four stars because sometimes they may take a while to deliver your order to your table especially when packed. That says a lot about the place, people love Sprinkles!!

Well duh its sugary. BUT its not gonna give you diabetes if you are an active person. Doing exercises everyday. I'm in the military and we chew alot of energy for breakfast lunch and dinner. This ice cream parlour ain't got nothing on physically active people. Its a WIN WIN situation for those that are physically training. No brainer people , if you ain't training try eating here once in a while, just don't take the piss and eat more than you can chew. Thats the part where your eyes start getting bigger than your stomach. And end up wasting food.
