Revisiting Sprinkles Portswood after 5 years! The toppings to waffle ratio used to be better earlier but seems to have reduced now. Yummy food, though.

Return visit, the first since the start of lockdown. A good variety of flavours, ideal place to take children. Good service. Limited parking in street. There is a car park one block away 5 minutes walk, left at the traffic lights and behind Subway.

Loved it here they have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu choices are varied and wide and the cost is well worth it. I would not hesitate to eat here for a sweet treat. The staff were very helpful even when it was quite busy they still had time to deal with our request to get a seated area cleaned. Loved my dish!

Yummy icecreams...the best icecream place in Southampton. The waffles we tried last time was good as well. Hope they put more sauce on there next time. But it was extremely disappointing that a good dessert shop like them serves very plain and bland cream. The cream with the chocolate waffle was tasteless. A simple dash of sugar with the cream could have increased the taste of the waffles really high.

Sprinkles has been one of the ultimate places to grab some a couple of scoops of icecream or just demolish 2 waffles with plenty of ice cream and a surplus of sauces. With a large variety of ice-creams and full on desserts available from their extensive menu. This is the busiest ice-cream parlour I go in. Prices are reasonable some of desserts are a little expensive but in the end, what do you expect. You can take a seat in club 4's or a table for two and let 5 minutes roll by until your desserts are whisked to your table.. Dig in and feel the sugar rush, then shortly after the sugar wall! Haha. There is not a huge amount of customer to worker interaction but the guy who is always in there when I go in there is always super easy to talk to and is efficient at what he does. Feeling a bit peckish after your meal at home? Burn some calories walking to the parlour and grab yourself some ice cream. Trust me, you won't regret it... Or maybe you will after a Sundae. Enjoy!

Sprinkles is a great place to go if you want pudding to be your entire meal. Waffles so big that they are probably illegal in several countries, along with a wide variety of toppings to keep it interesting. They can also cater for dietary requirements such as gluten free which is a definite plus.

I went into Sprinkles this morning with family and although it was very busy, we received all our food correctly and on time. It was such a beautiful meal. The woman behind the bar was very helpful, patient and polite when I asked her about options for vegans. She said her name was Maaz? Anyways I ended up ordering a create your own sundae with just sorbets and fresh fruits that still satisfied my needs! Yummy! Definitely will be coming back here again. Would highly recommend to all however I would say that they need more vegan options and possibly a kids menu?

I thought I would take my daughter out to this place as have heard good things about this place. We ordered a Crepe with chocolate and bananas for my daughter and a coffee for myself. We were served by a very polite lady called Masfin, I am not sure if I got the spelling correct? but I had to place this review as the service provided by the girl was exemplary.

This stuff is the sugary equivalent of heroin. You go for one hit, but then you're hooked, and with each mouthful you feel a mix of pleasure and decay, each swallow weighing you down, bringing you one inch closer to the rock bottom of diabetes or obesity. All jokes aside, though, it's really good desert. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I fell in love with their waffles. The portions are quite filling, so for your comfort and health, I would recommend splitting a portion between two people. The place is really nice and classy, resembling an iconic American diner.

All I can say is yum yum yummy, not really there got to be about 30 different flavours of ice cream here and its really nicely decorated. Don't waste the calories on a waffle or cake save more space for another scoop of amazing ice cream.

Agree with other users, Ice cream is great but service is something to be desired. Waited 20 minutes for a milkshake after all (not hardly as busy as I have seen it and with plenty of staff around). Have been twice over the year and experienced much the same on both occasions. Milkshake was not the best. Stick to fruitier flavoured gelato.

Amazing ice cream, waffles to die for and of course cookie dough. Mmmmmm cookie dough. If you don’t like sweet things avoid. But if you don’t like sweet things your probably not alive. The milkshakes are amazing as well. Oh and you can even get ones with fruit ( so it’s healthy, honest).

Good gelato and waffles. Always busy, night and day all year round. A single scoop cone costs £2. The portions are quite generous so getting a second scoop to have a second flavour can mean more ice cream than you can/should eat.

Issue for allergy suffers? The customer in front of us had mint choc ice cream, the ice cream fell into the pistachio tub and the server just scooped the mint choc ice cream for the customer. The pistachio ice cream is clearly labelled as containing nuts and so there may have been cross contamination and this could cause issues if the customer had a nut allergy.

Do *not* go at peak times!! I'm commenting based on my experience at the (brand new) Bournemouth branch. The food looks and tastes wonderful, but we waited 1 hour to be given our sundaes. Mind you, it was 1-2pm on a Saturday... If you really are craving a treat at a peak time, grab one of their little take-away bowls instead!

Portwood branch I really like. Staff are polite, place is clean and food is yummy. Its reasonably priced as an occasional treat. The Southampton branch I would avoid like the plague, first time there was what looked like a piece of pubic hair in the icecream, staff looked really embaressed and quickly changed it but I was still disgusted. Second time, there was small bits of plastic in mine and my friends crepe, again staff dealt with it quickly and made us a new one but thats still not on, just glad we noticed it before we started eating it!!! Will stick to the Portswood branch in future.
