N. H.We took our 4 year old daughter here this morning for her first experience of choosing sweets in a sweet shop and we had a fantastic experience. Mark was very kind and patient. We came away with a big selection of different sweets in small quantities and I was particularly excited to see several types of imported liquorice as well as all the traditional favourites.
H. P.Amazing. We took our residents in this delightful shop. Nothing was to much trouble. A ramp was provided for our residents to gain access in their wheelchairs. The time, patience and support we were all given was outstanding. The shop also smells heavenly and the jokes come free. I'd urge you to visit this wonderful place and experience customer service as it should be.

R. B.This is a beautifully fitted out traditional, old fashioned sweet shop which children from 0-99yrs will adore. It's like being transported back to a bygone age when sweet shops were an immense pleasure to visit. Mr Simms has everything you want from a sweet shop, every sweet under the sun in large jars ready to weigh, locally made assorted fudges, all sorts of branded sweet treats, especially made hampers for special occasions and a good old pick and mix which is managed by their friendly staff. The only thing it's missing is a golden ticket!

I refained somewhat- just getting a pic a mix, sour sweets (which I tried first the best I have ever had -most are not strong or do not last long), and some for my mum and son. Such friendly staff! I'm travelling home now tucking in and they are 5* sweets, like the razzles they are 100% original not the cheaper ones found in supermarkets. thank you!! I will be ordering my neice back over soon! P. B.If you want to remember growing up in the 1970's take a visit to this delightful emporium of sweets. All your old favourites in tubs just like they used to be. The hardest part is choosing as they have everything you could wish for. Pay the shop a visit next time ur in town.
