Scoops is always a must-visit when I go into York! Paul is always so lovely and goes above and beyond for customers. My favourite, the mint choc-chip ice cream, is wonderful and very reasonably priced. Also, this ice cream friend really made my day (sadly I didn't get a photo before he had started to melt).

Great Ice cream and great Sorbet - friendly man who served us allowed us to try out some of the flavours and also knew where all his ice creams where sourced from! A worthy stop when on route to the tower!!

Scoops is, I’d say the best ice-cream place in York especially to grab one on your travels! Paul is one of the friendliest guys you’ll meet and will always go above and beyond for you. Really nice ice-cream and slush puppies, and not over priced like the other ice cream places nearby. Well worth a visit!

Such a fantastic ice cream stall. Staff amazing. I have a nut allergy and they couldn’t have been more helpful, using a sterilised scoop and opening a new box of cones and chocolate flakes for me, even though I didn’t request it, really thoughtful. Even gave us a free tub of sorbet to try as we’d been discussing flavours. Beautiful icecream too! Highly recommend

Great quality ice cream. He recommended the creamy raspberry pannacotta yesterday and it was just...chef's kiss! Easygoing, friendly owner playing great music and he was very close to the Jorvik Viking Centre. I hope we find him again next time we visit York.

Stopped off for an ice cream with the kids, great choice of flavours and very reasonably priced. Staff were nice and friendly. I had a latte as well it was proper coffee, nice and smooth. Definately worth dropping by.

I always make an effort when in York rain or shine to come to Scoops for there lemon Sherbatt ice cream specifically because I have yet to find a better or substitute lemon ice cream Lemon Sorbet just does not do it for me. There other unique flavours are not to be missed either.

I come here most days with my son he always asks for a vanilla ice cream with a flake and sprinkles, the lady and gent that own it is really friendly and nothing is a problem as my little one is eager so even while there setting up they will serve, ice cream is delicious and great friendly staff
