Alun is an amazing mortgage advisor. He helped my husband and I from start to finish, with the process of looking for a new home to after we got our home. He even helped with things we hadn't even thought about. He was very quick at answering any questions we had and always helped in any way he could. These guys work in hours & days rather than the standard mortgage broker weeks & months. Highly recommended! After several experiences with Mortgage brokers native to Bedford moving into the area, I can not recommend Aqua mortgage services enough. Alun & particularly Michael have been supberb. They have a very human approach, that has been for us, several different properties won & lost over a year until finally completing with keys, our forever home. They're on the phone and take action immediately with the many rostercoaster rides you will encounter buying a property, plus report back straight away (good or bad news). We stubbled upon Aqua by chance from their high review ratings, after mis-adventures with recommended brokers/advisors simply not getting back to us for a standard purchase in a timely manner (a month or 3) Their fee is trival for the time they have invested, the commission based after sale insurances found have been competitive and better than we can find in most cases. Both thoroughly nice blokes, but also experienced & knowledgible to pressure lenders and ask the tough questions to other parties. Buying a house is never an exact science unless with cash I would imagine, but Aqua mortgage services certainly made the process as smooth as it can be.

Amazing service and knowledge about mortgages for the self employed. i was finding it hard to get a mortgage in place last year after the lockdowns and being self employed. After several brokers had failed, Alun from aqua stepped in and provided great knowledge and access to a greater number of mortgage providers. his communication and response to questions was always same day and usually instant. Alun did a fantastic job in transferring a repayment mortgage of mine over to a buy-to-let (this involved releasing equity and ensuring I would be refunded the early redemption fee that I incurred for swapping mortgages mid term). He then set up my girlfriend and I's mortgage for our new home as well as our life insurances and buildings & contents insurance. We found Alun to be a great guy. He is very knowledgeable, explained everything to us (more than once if required) and was happy to knuckle down and do the dirty work (as described above). He kept us in the know of all proceedings and was always available by phone or email.
