I have to thank personally Charlie, Sam ,Alison and Nicole for their professional attitude and efficient demeanour during the length of my claim. British Friendly have a great team in place representing them. They were transparent throughout the process and guided me on how to upload and share information from my appointments and consultations with specialists regarding my treatment. I was off work approximately 6 months and without the income protection I would of certainly been in irreparable financial strife. I urge anybody who doesn’t receive an income when they are absent from work, to purchase an income protection cover plan, and on my own experience I can vouch for British Friendly to provide it expertly. I certainly will continue to pay my monthly premiums as the future isn’t ours to see.

Contrary to other reviews on here I found British Friendly to be courteous, professional and extremely efficient.
Staff helped us chose the right assistant to claim for, sent us all the appropriate documentation, and approved the claim in less than 48 hours.

I’ve had nothing but a positive experience with British Friendly. I’ve been with them for years and had to make a claim last year. It was processed quickly and the money was in my account before I knew it. The annual health MOTs are also very valuable for tracking my long term health.

Updating my review- my father's income protection had been recently cancelled. I had an idea what the issue was. Long story short, it was a tiny error on British Friends part. I'm a little confused with a lot of the negative reviews. I found BF to be extremely fair, and there terms and conditions. I have full respect to speak on behalf of my father. I dealt with BF throughout. it was very simple. I had to wait for the last grant before BF could start paying my fathers weekly income protection. Do everything on there list and everything will be fine.
There was a little bit of chasing on my part, and some guilt for doing so. BF are very busy with more claims than usual since lockdown. Please take that into consideration. Nicole and I spoke a few times, she really did push my fathers claim forward as quickly as possible. I was very stressed out and Nicole asked if I was really ok, and reminded me I must look after myself too.
