Very contactable and good to deal with. They do however ramp up renewal premiums but these are willingly negotiated. Why do all insurance providers do this? Worth the effort though as Cornmarket do provide good customer service. Would have been 5 stars without this silly annual negotiation rigmarole!

I've been using Cornmarket Insurance Services for about 6 years now since discovering them. Year after year they've beaten or matched the best prices I've found. At last an Insurance company that sees a LGV/PCV license as a bonus rather than a detriment. Not just price though, every transaction I've had over the phone has been pleasant and efficient solving problems or queries straight away. They say the only way you can judge an insurance company is when you make a claim. Thankfully so far (and not planning any in the future touch wood) I've never had to claim but from the interactions so far I've a feeling it will be as stress free as can be. Highly recommend Cornmarket especially for vocational drivers. Update: This year (2022) unfortunately I had an accident with a bus bumping into the back of me. I was provided a secondary company that dealt with everything brilliantly sorting the claim with the bus companies insurance, the replacement car and the repair. I said before in original review that you can only judge an insurance company when you need to claim and now can thoroughly recommend.

I use Cornmarket for my car insurance as they are the preferred broker for the IAM (institute of advanced motorists). In all my dealings with them they have been very professional and personable. If I have one issue which could improve their service it would be for them to research the cheapest renewal quotes before they issue a renewal. Every year I go through the same routine, they issue the renewal, I use one of the comparison sites, get a cheaper comparable quote and then Cornmarket match it. It would be much better if they just gave the cheapest quote, for this reason they only get 4 not 5 stars.

Being a Retired Police Officer, I am being honest to say that I don`t trust everyone or everything I read. However.. I have been with Cornmarket for what I believe to be over twenty years now. I have Travel Ins, Home Ins, Motorcycle Ins & Two Cars that are insured with them, motor cycle Insurance. The company and staff are extremely loyal to their customers and in the event of needing advice or help with a claim, they are on hand to help. The staff are not pushy when it comes to selling you an Insurance Product, and are never pester you to sign up. I can say that they are very competitively priced and will do their utmost to tailor insurance to your personal needs. Ok, you may get a slightly cheaper quote, elsewhere, but the personal attention that Cornmarket affords its customer go far and beyond the call of duty. Like I said above - Being a Police Officer, I totally trust them and always been well looked after and rewarded for our loyalty to each other. In this day and age, customers look for two main issues - Value for money and Customer Service - Which in my opinion Cornmarket and the staff excel.

Ive insured with cornmarket now for a few years. Ive never had an accident nor had to claim until recently when my car was hit in a car park whilst we attended a funeral. I calked the claims line and it was a relief how easy this was to deal with. Cornmarket had me booked in i dropped the car off collected my courtesy car and had it back repaired all done within 3 weeks of the initial bump to the car. Would have been quicker but had to wait on a courtesy car from the bodyshop becoming available. Very happy with my insurer and would highly recommend Cornmarket.

Each operative knows exactly what they are doing, every time, without fail. They are unflappable, courteous and helpful, and, are all UK based. I have found that even if necessary, they will do a quotation price match, or, beat a quotation obtained from elsewhere. No faint praise.

So glad I didn't just buy the insurance online last night, the level of cover you have got me is a lot better than what I was being offered online, it's a lot easier to actually speak to a person and have the confidence that the insurance is the right cover, I sold insurance for a few years over 15 years ago and normally just shop online every year myself, so I've a decent understanding on what cover to try and find, but you give me stuff I didn't think about, or know I could get. Plus, the online quote was only a 3 Star rated policy, the one you got me is 5 Star Defaqto rating and it's with an Insurer I recognise. For £15 of a difference, buy cheap, buy twice.
