M.I had gone with another well known mortgage advisor in the Belfast area as they’d been recommended to me but I had a very poor outcome (the advisor had unrealistically high expectations of the potential loan amount I could borrow and, despite me querying this several times as it just didn’t seem right, they insisted, leading to several failed applications with a 6 months wait in between each).
In desperation, and after reading great reviews, I jumped ship to The Mortgage Clinic, and I’m thrilled I did.
From start to finish, Dean McGhee has been absolutely excellent- professional, friendly, realistic and knowledgeable. On the rare occasions he wasn’t 100% sure about something, he quickly found out the answer for me.
It is rare to find even half-decent customer service these days, let alone exemplary, and Dean went over & above from start to finish.

We are now approaching completion on our purchase and sale and are really looking forward to moving into our new home!!! In what can be a very stressful and difficult process, having Helmut to advise us, reassure us, contact other parties on our behalf and explain everything has made it all so much easier and left us able to focus on preparing for the move, we cannot recommend his service enough.

I'm a first time buyer and didn't know what I needed for a mortgage - at the initial consultation they explained everything in depth, but in a way I could get head around it, and sent me away with a plan to get me to where I needed to be. In a few months I was ready to go and they kept me updated every step of the way. The pandemic has made things a little trickery with some banks only offering a limited number of applications per day.
