I can’t speak highly enough of Debbie my mortgage advisor, from the very start she was so helpful in her expertise and guidance. She really went the extra mile to help whilst I was having difficulty with a move in date, which had been put back on numerous occasions. Debbie was able to sort out an extension to the mortgage and liaise with solicitors and builders on my behalf, this was so helpful. I always felt Debbie was so patient, she was with me every step of the way and regularly kept in touch. Debbie went above and beyond, her service exceeded my expectations. I could not recommend the mortgage shop enough. I phoned on a whim one morning, and luckily Debbie answered the phone! From start to finish, the whole process has been so easy and that has all been down to Debbie. She is amazing at what she does, so professional, and understanding and genuinely cares about her clients. Me and my partner had no hope of buying our first home this year, I was on furlough and my partner was self employed after being made redundant from his full time job and only had a few months of books. Even though we had return to work dates we knew the chances were slim to none but we had to try. We, to be honest I, have tested the patience of Fiona on numerous occasions and at every opportunity she has been there to talk to us and offer any assistance she could to help us move things forward. I myself can be very hands on and I like to be fully involved at all times. We feel we were fully afforded ever opportunity throughout the entire process (3 x Purchase Attempts), to be involved and were encouraged to ask any questions which arose. The initially purchase we were angling for was far from straight forward and the Mortgage Shop had direct contact with lenders, to determine if the purchase was even viable. We were offered over and above the services we expected / would have received had we approached the lenders directly. For the minimal fee, the sheer amount of face-to-face consultations, email support and peace of mind you receive is substantial.
