I strongly recommend speaking to a human at a local broker as you never know what deals they may have. I shopped around early with 3 major comparison sites, 2 well known direct insurers, plus my existing insurer, in the end, the cheapest quote was with Edison Ford, I saved 20% on last year's premium, proving the traditional ways of shopping for car insurance still work. They have not skimped on my cover or increased my excess or sold me something I don't need. Just a straight quote and good value for money from a local company. Excellent.
