I really cannot recommend Victoria @ House & Co enough. I’ll start by saying she came highly recommended to me by a family member who also recently secured her mortgage through her so I trusted her judgement. Victoria took me through the whole mortgage application process, explained to me how everything works (including getting on a video call to show me why she made certain decisions) and secured me a great rate! Much better than a lot of my friends who have also bought houses. Also, everything was completed within the space of a week. Within 16 hours of my offer being accepted, she had submitted my mortgage application and negotiated a great deal as I had a slightly complex situation with my employment. However, mortgage aside, Victoria was incredible to deal with and has an infectious personality. She was probably happier than I was when my offer was accepted on a BS6 house (highly sought after area with A LOT of competition) and talked me through the entire house buying process, advised on how much to offer etc and educated me on the Bristol housing market. She went so much further than just being a ‘mortgage advisor’. She was a friend & an educator. In addition, she was extremely responsive to all my messages (even on weekends) and performed all her work with such enthusiasm. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Victoria and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to secure a jargon free mortgage. I’ll finish off by saying, I can’t wait to have her round for a celebratory dinner upon completion.

What a great team! We were a little skeptical at first about using the mortgage arm of the housing agent but decided to give it a go. From the get go, the team dove deep to understand more about our personal situation and left no stone unturned to help us secure a competitive mortgage rate. Highly recommended. Nick saved us nearly £200 per month on our mortgage vs the agreement in principle we received from our bank with a small award winning lender we probably would never have found without a broker. Once we provided all the information needed our application was completed for us and any follow-ups from the lender/ solicitors were dealt with quickly. As first time buyers we found the service removed a massive amount of potential stress from the whole process as we knew every step was being completed correctly and we always had somewhere to turn to when we were not sure about anything.
