Me and my partner came to Simeon and his team after being refused by 2 banks due to my adverse credit with the help of a previous broker, we was about to give up on the home we had our hearts set on. I took to Google, the mortgage hero’s came up and thank the lord I made that call! I was instantly taken back at how interested Simeon was in our case and I knew there was some hope. Straight away he knew where we was going wrong and knew what banks to approach, or shall I say bank. We sent Simeon everything he asked for, with constant communication back and forth, we had a mortgage offer within 3 weeks of first speaking with Simeon and it was with the first bank he put our application to! We paid the previous broker for nothing. We paid Simeon only when we got our offer, the value of the service is almost to good to be true. We couldn’t put into words how thankful we are. Turns out we were badly advised by a free online agency and we should never have submitted an application to that provider. His offer had been accepted, which was great and the agents recommend a broker- This is where our nightmare began, after 6 weeks of constant to ing and fro ing we were getting nowhere, reasons given His income was not consistant We had missed good rates due to the war in the Ukraine. He didn't have a valid contract of employment The reasons were endless, of which totally drained and stressed us both out. We had been trying to arrange a re- mortgage for 10 months, this was with a large well known online broker, following lots of failed attempts we finally decided that perhaps we just wouldn’t be able to get an offer. Buying a home during 2020 is perhaps not the easiest idea I have ever had, and until I spoke to Simeon at The Mortgage Heroes it was undenaibly very stressful. In fact, I would say that when I fired off an email to him following finding him through Google one evening, I was pretty close to giving up. Simeon Jennings is a miracle worker and because of him if all goes well, I will be able to own my own home for the first time in years. We found the house we really wanted back in July and, on the back of an Agreement in Principal from L&C, we made an offer which was accepted. I then went through 3 months of hell with L&C for a mortgage application which I found out at the end was always destined to fail. Never answered the phone, never sent important information to Santander which would have at least meant my mortgage application got stopped at first stage. L&C also convinced me that given my credit report (I earn £120k/year but have a small default from over 2 years ago of £67) I wouldn't get a mortgage in the current climate. I tried so many mortgage advisors who did absolutely nothing. I moved back from the US and knew I wouldn’t get a mortgage straight away so started working on building my credit.
