When I called with further questions, agent Leanne Ross spent time walking me through what insurance could and couldn't do for me (I have a pre-existing condition). As an expatriate, I was clueless where to even start; Leanne was patient and very informative even with basic healthcare information. I didn't commit at that original call, and she was not at all pushy. Still not having committed after a couple of months, but having a bit better understanding of the system, I called back and again talked with Leanne. This time I knew I wanted private insurance, but unsure how to narrow the field. She helped immensely by pointing out beneficial aspects particular to our situation that went with several policies... and then left the decision among our short-list to us. When we decided, the policy started at the date of our choice, and the paperwork arrived in a timely manner. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the service (and patience) I received. I would highly recommend Activequote to anyone seeking private health care insurance.
