Using Elephant for nearly 4 years and had no issues. Customer service was mostly quick and helpful. Price is slightly above the cheap competition, but when I fitted modifications to my car that did not cost me any extra money and when a rock hit my car's windshield they got that fixed for 20 pounds at my own house within a few days.

Everything was fine. No problems at all. And then after cancelling, the agent said everything was settled and I was due a refund of £15 and then days later received an email saying I owe a payment of £78 and sent me a default amount for the amount ! Potentially ruining my credit score because they don’t know how to calculate cancellation costs. Absolutely ridiculous. Waiting to hear back Update: They offered to listen to the call we previously had and what the agent had said. They called back and offered to waive the costs. Happy the problem was fixed.

I have used Elephant now for around 4-5 years. Every year without fail they provide the best price to me beating all comparison sites. In April 2020 I unfortunately had to make a claim and within 4 days it was solved and almost finished. They were efficient and extremely easy to deal with. Having recently been involved in a Motorbike accident and dealing with another provider I am immensely greatful for the service I continue to receive from Elephant. I really would not go elsewere unless it was a significant difference in cost. I would and do already recommend to everyone.

I’ve been with elephant for a year now and I think the customer service is amazing. I haven’t had to contact them allot although when I have, they’ve been very quick at responding and very easy to talk to. Finding documents through “my account” on the website is very simple a quick to access. The cost is very reasonable compared to most providers, they also helped reduce my premium allot in the space of a 20 minute chat. In all I highly recommend elephant they’ve made my driving experience easier!

If you call before your renewal they will match your old quote or do a better quote matching what is lowest on confused.com - been with them for 4 years. Great with breakdown cover, had to use that several times now. Great customer service. Haven't claimed with them yet, hopefully will not have to

Today the 1st July I called elephant insurance at 1pm (lunchtime is the only chance I get and most are closed)to amend my policy and was on the call for 12.51mins to the MOST helpful kind person for customer service , I did not get his name and I wanted to give a positive review as he deserved it ,Elephant will always be my first choice now I found them through compare the market as the customer service is exceptional Sally Luton

I never made a claim with them, although I think the call centre person was approachable, the annual premium sounded fair and address/vehicle amendments could be done through the website at a discounted rate.
