Very friendly service from start to finish and as a night worker they accommodated the times I could phone with queries and questions and nothing was too much hassle. Graham, Dawn and Sharn went above and beyond in helping me find a suitable and affordable mortgage for my first solo purchase as a self-employed person. I was recommended PLF Mortgages by two friends. I was consulting another mortgage broker at the time but I felt my circumstances and personal details were much better handled and properly discussed by PLF. I received a detailed and step by step support all the way through the "buying a property process" which can be very stressful with unpredictable surprises. PLF were always there for me to listen and advise and they did a fantastic job in searching the best deal for me as well as systematically chasing up my solicitors. On top of all this they were very keen on searching newer, better mortgage deals for me while I was waiting for the sellers solicitors to respond. After waiting for paperwork to be processed for almost 6 months PLF found me a second much improved mortgage rate saving me money on the long term.They also proposed me and offered other very useful products such a good life & house insurance taking away a lot of hassle for me . We were so lucky our estate agents suggested PFL Mortgages to us. We have been unlucky with setting up mortgages in the past and haven't always been clearly explained the T&C's. With PFL, we had amazing service. Sharn was fantastic and was so supportive. She kept me updated every step of the way, often ringing me back immediately when we were chasing the best deals. It was a very stressful time because of Covid and the banks limiting the amount of mortgages they were giving out. We managed to get a fixed rate of 2.7% which for the LTV and the amount we were borrowing was a fantastic rate at the time. Sharn even negotiated some of the fees with Nationwide so that we could confirm our house sale before committing. Without her help, I don't think we would have been able to buy the house of our dreams. I must say, the scary times of moving felt so much easier with PFL on our side. We have used them to set up life insurance too - which just took away all the stress.
