We recently used the MAB branch in Stepps to assist finding our options for a mortgage. With all that was going on in the world Paul was pushing our current provider to allow us to port our current product and keep the great rate we already had. Although we couldn’t fully do it that way in the end, the rates secured by Paul and the team are the better than we could have hoped for. Contact was great throughout the process and would recommend them to anyone whether it is for moving house or just looking to shop the market for a better product.

Overall I was very happy with my experience with the Mortgage Advice Bureau. I submitted an enquiry online and they got in touch with me phone very quickly. They took the time to understand my situation, answer my questions and find me a competitive product. Throughout the process they were very quick to respond, including on evenings and weekends, which was appreciated so we could move quickly on making an offer and demonstrating our access to funds My only slight dissatisfaction was when it came to insurance. I felt the sales approach was a bit heavy handed when it came to trying to sell me life insurance. When I asked for help arranging buildings insurance I was referred to a different person who never called me back.

We had a great experience with Glasgow's Mortgage Advice Bureau- dealing with David. Initially we had been referred by one of the big 'new builders' but after the excellent advice we were given we decided to stick with MAB when eventually buying an older property- even though this meant there was a charge for the service. We were initially pretty skeptical about using a mortgage broker- thinking we'd save money doing it ourselves but of all the money we've had to fork out during the housebuying process the small fee for MABs services was absolutely money well spent. The mortgage application was the smoothest part of the whole purchase due to their help and advice. The online system for collating all the documents we needed was really efficient and it must have taken about a week from application to approval. We've ended up with a great deal, tailored to our needs and it was all delivered with excellent customer service from the MAB team. Highly recommend giving David and his team a call if you're looking to get a mortgage sorted.
