We have been in business for 40 years and in that time I have dealt with numerous insurance brokers, in obtaining guest house insurance. However I must say that if have found Paul Blythe of Edison Ives exceptional in the level of advice and overall helpfulness. The policy price that he negotiated was very competitive and he managed to obtain a longer unoccupation of our business than normal. He is a man on top of his job and I was more than pleased to place my next policy with his company. I would urge anyone seeking business insurance to at least give Paul an opportunity to quote.

Every year I do what I always do and shop around for business insurance...Which I hate! I found myself coming back to Edison Ives after I skipped a year with another company. They didn't make me feel awkward just because I bought from somewhere else previously, in fact they was more than happy I'm a returning customer :) This year, Paul Blyth looked after me (Previously Tim - also excellent service) It felt like Paul knew straight away I didn't want anyone to waste my time. He got straight to the point, pointing out the most important things in my cover which I knew about....but it was nice that it was brought to my attention....whereas other insurance company didn't even mention these points. Hence I say I felt looked after by Edison Ives. Right up until the point of accepting Paul made sure I read all the documents and figures to make sure it is all correct . There was a lot of communication with Paul and at no point did I feel *harassed* into buying a policy or did I feel he was calling me too often. I'm a little old school and I need good customer service. and customer service is what they provide here as well as a great insurance policy Highly recommend

I was let down by another insurance broker at 5 o'clock on a Monday night with a project mobilizing on the Wednesday morning for which I had to have Rope access insurance for at £10M ELI/PLI. Tony called me back after hours on the Monday night, got all of the information required (walked me through the document) and then put in a monumental effort to get the quotations back before my mobilization time. As a comparison I had other insurance brokers only responding to my enquiry 24hrs later. Tony got everything in place in time for us to go offshore and successfully deliver our project. Tony at Edison Ives is fantastic. I had a DIY, internet insurance policy and thought I was covered. I was wrong! In steps Tony to complete a full review of all of my policies. My tools weren't correctly insured, my public liability was all but worthless and it left me very vulnerable should a claim arise. Tony tailored a policy to my requirements and it came in at a fair price for the high level of coverage I asked for. Tony didn't stop there though. He kept assessing it and managed to get me further savings. All in all a thoroughly good service and a great guy to deal with. 5 stars simply isn't enough on this occasion.
