I can only speak as I find. This is my 3rd year with them for my car insurance and I've never had a problem. I am renewing my insurance in November with Close Brothers finance again. Happy customer.

Close Brother Motor Insurance deserve 5 star for their complaints department. A gentlemen called Shaun had been fantastic at supporting me with the complaint I had regarding my car purchased from a local garage. Car displayed a engine light on purchase, the dealer erased the faulty code and told me it will be ok. Intermittently the care started showing the engine light until when the MOT a year later was due the light was constantly on. Close Brother liaised with the garage and had the car fixed. And for that service as far as I am concerned they deserve 5 star rating.

Have had no problems with this company whatsoever , everyone complaining about charges when missing payments when they agree to this when they sign the contract. A few exceptional cases but apart from that if you pay on time then you don't get charged , simple. I suspect all these complaints are from people who don't have the money to pay for their insurance when it's due and like to blame others for their mistakes.

I have used close brothers for years and have never had any problem. No hidden charges for my car finances. The only hidden charges may come from the insurance agents themselves but not from Close brothers. I would recommend them if you are looking for an instalmental payment.

Bought a car that had a big engine failure a few months after purchase the company MEADOWBROOK MOTORS refused to look at it and said i had a months warranty only took to the finance company who investigated and deemed that i was well within my rights (sale of goods act/consumer rights act) to request a repair, this finance company forked out the bill for the repair to later chase up with this company so big shout out to close brothers finance have used for every car i've bought and 100% will use in the future big shame for MEADOWBROOK MOTORS

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Everytime I've called them my queries were dealt with professionally and they have some of the friendliest staff I've come across. I had a few problems getting all my documents over and they were completely understanding. Would highly recommend.

My broker (CCI) was bought out by Footman James last year and Footman James use Close Brothers. When setting up the account I just went along with it and ended up with an account for Close Brothers. When I came on here and read the reviews I was terrified, what had I done? However I am now towards the end of my payments and the account has been run faultlessly. I have used the online portal thing to amend payments dates when necessary an every payment has come out as and when it should. Just thought I would post up as i guess no one ever posts to say everything OK
