Habito are great. Their portal is convenient to use and you can fill in your details at your own pace. Chat feature is much more convenient that having synchronous conversation on the phone. They respond quickly and you could go from starting an application to submitting it to the lenders in just one day. Shout out to Chris Roy, he helped me find a mortgage and was super quick to respond. I was about to miss out on the rate and had just a few hours to submit my mortgage application but Chris worked quickly and accommodated the urgency.

Really great experience getting a mortgage through Habito. Their online platform makes the process streamlined and easy, allowing you to upload all your docs and ID online. The chat system on their website is great meaning you can easily send and reply to messages when is best for you - in my case getting things progressed in the evenings when I got home from work. Used them twice and it was a very easy process all the way through. There are mortgages that aren't available because you need to go directly to the lender, but other than that it's a really good service. The cost of not going with one of those mortgages doesn't work out that much different over a fixed term really, and the ease of application, having all the documents ready to go with a good system for managing them is worth it to me. They make it very clear why they're suggesting particular mortgages and whether they get a commision etc. They'll make sure that the suggested mortgage works out best for you after considering product fees, cashback etc over your fixed term. And the staff are all very helpful and quick to respond, particularly Ravesh! But yeah, highly recommended to take a lot of the stress out of sorting out your mortgage!

We used Habito Plus for the purchase of our first property. Antra from Habito was fantastic in helping us find the best mortgage for our needs and putting together a successful application. We then worked with Juno, the solicitors included with Habito Plus, for the conveyancing. Juno were generally really great to work with and have a clear online platform through which you can action tasks and monitor progress. They also avoid jargon, which is hugely helpful for those new to the home-buying process. However, we had a couple of weeks where Juno were unresponsive to emails (reason for 4 stars rather than 5). They later explained that this was due to capacity issues during an especially busy time. Chelsea and her team at Habito were very supportive and helpful in shepherding the whole process and were always available if we had any questions. Overall, I would highly recommend Habito and the Habito Plus service.

I'm so glad to have found Habito to help us buy our first home. I've looked for a broker a very long time and we ended up talking to two different brokers before Habito; one traditional, working with a commission that would have been collected from us and the other, collecting their commission from the bank we would have gone for. Habito isn't like your traditional broker in any way as their web based business model is quite modern. Their website is very easy to use and I loved to be able to upload all the needed documents in a few minutes. The customer service representatives are quite quick to respond. Live chat is very easy to use and keep a track of and the representatives are very professional&friendly. They found us the best product that we could possibly get within our budget. They were so knowledgeable and have always offered their tailored advice. SO much better than all the other brokers out there who claim to provide tailored/personable service. After we bought our house they sent us a little gift in the post - three keychains with angel wings. I thought it was a thoughtful touch. They have assured us that they will contact us towards the end of our 2 year fixed term to offer us a better product. I dont think there is a better service out there. LOVE Habito!

I should caveat by saying I'm not an experienced homeowner and that our purchase sadly didn't complete for reasons entirely out of Habito's control, but on the basis of the service we received from our AE, Tom Forsyth, I wanted to leave a review highlighting it. I really felt like Tom went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and assured throughout the process, and he always handled our numerous queries quickly and calmly, writing comprehensive answers up in the chat portal and demystifying much of the whole thing for us. Buying a house is a complicated process but based on the experience we had with Tom and Habito as a whole, when we come to try again in future I'd be happy to use them.

From initial contact to mortgage offer Habito were great. I initially contacted London and County and spend half an hour on the phone to them with them trying to sell me life insurance and not find a mortgage for me. I went online started the application with Habito, it's all done online so i could do it from anywhere really. The process of uploading documents is drag and drop and really simple. All queries were handled promptly. The deal they found us was competitive, i could of found a slightly better seal saving a few pounds per month but, there was no travelling around, no waiting or making phone calls or sending documents through the post which makes up for it. I checked Habito and spoke directly with the banks that I thought had the best deals. Habito by far was the best option. It did not require me to have 2 hours calls with the banks, which was a requirement for the majority of them, neither I had to deal with physical paper or visits to brands that require a lot of time and resources. The whole application process from the beginning to the end was online. I first spoke with a representative, Raphael, very diligent and quick in his answers. I asked for at least 3 types of mortgages plans to check which one was the best for me, he sent that information very quickly. After choosing the mortgage I wanted, they assigned a person specialised in mortgages to the case, Tuki. She was very quick during the whole process, taking me only a few days instead of months (if I compare it to the average that my friends had to endure directly with banks). I could not be happier with the service. It is also important to remark that all fees were presented in a very transparent way and that Habito gets their fees directly from the bank. I went to the bank to check whether it would be cheaper if I did the application directly with them and it was exactly the same cost and mortgage plan like the one offered by Habito. Therefore, no difference. Excellent service in general.

We got our AIP less than two days after our initial application and the estate agent & seller were really impressed with how quickly everything moved along too. We had a dedicated case manager who got back to us really quickly when we had questions, even on evenings and weekends, and let us know straight away when we had forgotten to do something/uploaded the wrong documents. When our usual person wasn't available someone else picked up the case so we didn't have to wait at all :) We were given a lot of mortgage options to choose from and we're really happy with the rates we got.
