In order to give us more agility and avoid being tied to a chain, we decided to split the sale of our current property from the purchase of our new home. This meant we wanted to borrow a relatively high amount in the short term, while processing the sale of our current property in the background. Having reached out to Heritage, Adam's help was invaluable in understanding the options available to us and advising which a mortgage vehicle that would give us the flexibility to make a large early repayment as soon as our property sold with no penalty - all while keeping our short term monthly payments as low as possible. I can honestly say we would not have been able to move forward with our purchase had we not had Adam's advice and support. He even helped in recommending a fantastic law firm that managed the conveyance in just over 6 weeks!

Before Adam we’d only ever done things directly with the bank. What a mistake!!! Adam took the pain and stress out of the house move sorting out the best deal available, quickly and efficiently. We ended up porting our mortgage but needing a smaller mortgage. Adam calculated the best way to do this to reduce exposure to early repayment charges something that if I’d done directly with the bank no doubt they would have charged us the full amount. Adams communication was excellent throughout and he liaised with the solicitor and agents ensuring a quick and smooth transaction. Can’t recommend Adam highly enough and will definitely be using again in the future.

We randomly walked in to Heritage office when we were looking for the nearest broker and they were so nice that we decided to work with them. We worked with Karl Daly and we can honestly say he was the only person who constantly brought us good news. The process was really frustrating and the seller was being difficult from the very start. However, Karl was brilliant. He explained all the available mortgages, all the pros and cons, he answered all our questions promptly and he recommended a good solicitor as well. This is my third experience going through the mortgage process and so I have used two previous brokers before which gives me something to compare Heritage to. If you would like the short version - its look no further - Call Heritage, Use Heritage..good luck! The long version and reasons why are below... We all probably know that the Mortgage application process in general is one of the most stressful things to go through but Heritage, and more specifically, Karl have been absolutely incredible throughout this entire process. Previous brokers I have used, I found, have not always been immediately responsive to communication, or when they did respond, I would find that they had not chased anything up and are more reactive than proactive. Karl at heritage was always available and if not, would call back promptly. He is proactive, and ensured he introduced himself and passed direct contact to all involved in the process (Solicitors, estate agents etc) in order to make the process sail through as smoothly as possible. The application process, where we were with it, what our options were, and most importantly, how to get the best possible mortgage for our dream home were all explained and outlined clearly at every step of the way. We had one of those “oh no..we may not be able to get the mortgage we need” moments which I am sure everyone has at some point through this process but again, Karl was on the phone to us and found a way through the woods. He even pushed and worked as quickly as possible to get our mortgage agreed before the Covid lockdown stopped mortgage valuers visiting properties. I am not one to normally write review but I cannot speak any more highly of Karl at heritage and will recommend him to all friends and family (and to those reading). Mortgages applications are a bit of a mysterious “dark art” until you go through the process yourself, and even then, the next time, either your requirements, the process, or your circumstances would have changed and so you never quite know how it will work or what will happen. Get Heritage by your side to guide you through to work their magic. Im typing this from my new home ;-)
