Not yet had to make a claim but pleased with every aspect of my Waggel insurance so far. Easy to take out and when I added a second pet later in the year it was also very straightforward. Good communication when I had a question and the price is competitive too. Hoping my renewal is priced fairly as I’d like to stay with Waggel if possible.

I've made a couple of phone calls now to Waggel to double-check some specific details about my pet before I took out a policy. I've come away from both calls with the certainty that Waggel have listened to, and understood, the areas I'm concerned about and have explained very clearly what that means for me and the impact to my policy. I like the level of cover, the ease in getting a quote, the compassion of the Waggel team members that I've spoken to, and the common sense approach that as a company they apply to pet insurance. It doesn't feel like a minefield littered with hidden bombs, rather that my pet and I are both equally valued and we all know that's priceless!

Love this company. Everything is easy. Great vibe, policies and processes laid out very simply. Payment from a claim paid directly to vets so I only had excess to pay up front. I have Newfoundlands so expensive breed and potential vets bills when things go wrong. I wouldn't use any other company!

I've had to claim twice for my little puppy due to vomiting and have had an easy and quick experience with Waggle. The claims have been paid out promptly and when I needed to ask a question the live chat feature was fantastic. We have also had free 20 min consultations with their in-house behaviourist to work on separation anxiety - an amazing benefit that they don't charge extra for. I'm super impressed with them so far.

I have honestly been so impressed with Waggel. I have used a variety of different companies over the years but the ease of use, fantastic service and availability of someone to talk to has been amazing. Unfortunately one of our cats passed away within weeks of joining them but they made the process so easy and were also really kind at a horrible time. Everyone hopes we do not need to ever claim form dog insurance ! Its peace of mind for that moment everything goes wrong. Well that happened to us friday ! My beautiful nelly broke her elbow. I received great advice from moorview referrals who assured me id taken out a good policy and they worked directly with waggle. All i had to concentrate on is making sure my lovely girl is comfortable. Ive had great communication from waggle. I did speak to a lovely young lady who was very reassuring and professional. The rest of communication was through chat or emails. My claim was resolved in just over 2 days. Which is great for me as i really worry about big bills. Im just about to get a pup and i will of course be choosing waggle and recommend them very highly for pet owners everywhere..

I had been looking to find an insurance policy but I didn’t quite understand the levels of cover available. I have indoor cats so it’s unlikely they will need top level of cover as the risk of injury are lower. I found waggel really simple to understand as they explain everything clearly, and I feel confident that I have got the correct cover for my boys, it was quick and easy.

I exhausted several days over several weeks calling around getting and comparing pet quotes and Waggle seems to be the most straight forward (no mandatory co-payment - just an excess fee - unlike other insurers). Their website is easy to navigate and when I called their contact centre (because I wanted to make sure that no co-payment was required) they answered quickly, politely and they were very clear and helpful. A thumbs up from me and my new puppy!

One of the best websites I've seen for insurance. Love their communication style, informal and entertaining. Price and services offered are comparable with others at the cheaper end of the market. I like that you get video calls with a vet included. Haven't tried to claim for anything yet so I can't comment on how they handle that. Overall very happy so far, which isn't something you generally say with insurance, it's normally a pretty mundane affair. Waggel does a good job of making the experience more enjoyable and the price is about right.

Too early to know exactly how good Waggel really is, but got off to a great start. Liked the packages offered compared to the other companies. Have had bad experiences with previous insurances for our other dog so are nervous, but hopeful that the 'different' attitude of Waggel will be refreshingly good to deal with. Don't agree with another review regarding prices - thought they were far more reasonable than others...hope it stays that way! Seem to be lots of different topics on their website - I maybe need more guidance on exactly what there is on offer, but could be that I just need more time to look through everything! They have some innovative ideas as well as tailored charges - would recommend every new dog owner has a good look at Waggel before deciding.

The measure of a good insurer is really only when you have to claim. I wish I had never had to lose a pet to find out. That said, Waggel were so caring and kind from the moment I first spoke to them and they advised me that we could claim against the purchase price of our beloved British Shorthair cat, not yet eighteen months old, killed on the road near our home. Even the claims handler expressed her sympathy when paying the claim, and the whole thing went through without any further involvement or upset from me in less than ten days. Not ten working days, just ten days - and that's counting the day I called and the day they told me the claim was settled. Our other cat (now a house cat) will of course be remaining with Waggel. Over all I am happy with Waggel, but it wasn't made clear at time of taking out the policy that you can't increase the level of cover on renewal. I am unhappy about this, so I am now left with a lifetime cover of only £4000 a year from when I got by dog as a pup. When I've made a claim, it's been fairly quick to get processed.

Easy set up and slick website. As with any insurance company its the claims process which determines whether they are credible. Hopefully i wont have to claim but time will tell. Pet insurance in general seems to have a bad press but as a new puppy owner having not owned a dog for over 20 years due to work commitments i shall give it a go with waggle. I’d been with Direct Line for 14 years but the premium for our older cat went up almost 20% year on year despite her being in good health for 16 year old. For the same cover of 8k the premium went down from £110 to £45 for her.

The product seems fine enough but the marketing is driving me mad. Ever since I first clicked on the ad , I've been bombarded with adverts for the product . Whatever I watch ,or look at every commercial break and social media site has an ad for this company - even though I bought the product weeks ago . When will it stop ? I signed up to waggel for my new rescue pup after comparing lots of different insurers. Not only were the prices competitive, but they also offered dental cover! No others that I looked at did. The website and sign up process was one of the best I’ve used in terms of User experience and design. It’s really easy to follow and looks great too - plus the discounts and offers available to policy holders are a real added benefit. I haven’t had experience making a claim yet, as I’ve only been with them a week, but so far so good!

Many people have asked me what insurance company I use for my dog and I have no hesitation recommending Waggel. I actually HIGHLY recommend them. They are a newer company who put in the extra care and attention that any dog owner needs. They also cover dental and behavioral support!! YAY!! :)

They maybe need some extra work on their pricing to be more competitive. Please read the policy documents to ensure the exclusions in the cover are suitable for your needs. Waggle came highly recommended and thus far the registration process has been brilliant. However, I would like to make people aware of the following situation I found myself in with in making my first claim for my rescue dog Bentley. I rescued Bentley on Friday 24th July 2020. I was given his medical records showing he had a clean bill of health. I took out pet insurance with Waggle 28th July 2020 and arranged his first vet appointment at Goddards Veterinary Hospital for the 6th August 2020. On that appointment they found that Bentley had a claw problem and would require an operation. As I did not have 14 days between the start date of insurance and first vet appointment my claim was refused. Clearly what I should have done was firstly get pet insurance and wait 14 days before taking Bentley to his first vet check up.. Just wanted to make people aware so as not make the same mistake.
