Matt and Megan were superb from beginning to end in securing my mortgage. As a single first time buyer I was unsure how difficult or confusing the mortgage process was. Laura and Matt at were great at helping us find our perfect mortgage. We first began looking just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, and initially sought out a 5% deal. Matt found us a great deal, however when the pandemic hit all the 5% offers were taken off the table and we had to start from scratch looking for a 15% deal. Matt was great and always remained positive that we would find the perfect deal in the end. Laura was also great at keeping us well informed as to where we were up to in terms of progress and any further information we needed to provide. The starting process and getting an application offer was great thanks to Matt, who I would highly recommend. It was when it was handed over to the applications team and different people where we found more issues, reply’s were taking 2-3 days and when I called I was promised ring backs that never happened. I decided to enquire with UK Moneyman due to the amount of 5* reviews they had and I could immediately see why. Less than five minutes after my enquiry on the website I was called to discuss our mortgage needs in further details. Within the next hour one of the advisers Wayne called for a more detailed chat and a face to face appointment was set up for the following week. Whilst in the comfort of my front room Wayne spent around two hours discussing the whole process and our options which as first time buyers was very reassuring and we had an agreement in principle the following day. What we didn't know at this time was that we were going to have quite a few issues with lenders due to to choosing difficult properties but Wayne was always there to provide advise and support during a frustrating time. When we had more lender issues with our second property choice we started to think we might just unlucky but once again Wayne provided the advise and support which allowed us to eventually get the mortgage offer we were hoping for. Whilst we we waiting for the offer Kayleigh and the applications team made sure they kept us informed and updated which kept our minds at ease which after one failed attempt was really appreciated. Wayne also came to my work to discuss the protection side of things which once again was a massive help. Couldn't fault the service from start to finish :)

It was September/October last year that I arranged my first meeting with Wayne from Manchester Moneyman. As a first time buyer I had a lot of questions and worries, but he took time to explain everything to me and give me all the information I needed to start the process of applying for a mortgage. As a veteran to writing google reviews over the years and places and services I have used I don't think I could have given a company a more higher rating as I don't think 5 stars is enough. I've used brokers in the past and I've had a mixed bag of results... But with stricter rules with the banks there is little room for error... Prior to using Manchester money man.. We used another broker that messed us around for nearly 8 months that messed up our credit rating with stupid searches. Manchester money man introduced us to Steve woodcock. This guy was proffesional and very very knowledgeably.. He visited us at home so made it so easy as we both worked.. And from the 1st visit things just happend at lightening speed... And Steve kept upto date every step of the way. We got the mortgage we wanted and my hat goes off to Steve and Manchester money man. The call centre staff were fantastic and continued to assist the process even when it was with the solicitors. Don't use anyone else use manchester money man.

I had a specific set of circumstances that normally may be prohibitive but I quickly got a mortgage and it was very affordable as well.
