Ansar at WKM was incredibly professional, friendly and completely on the ball and super fast at responding. He completely took away all the stress of the process. Engaged with our solicitor, estate agent, builder and of course our lender. He also gave brilliant additional advice and his fee was much lower than that of the estate agents and worth every penny. We contacted Ansar for a mortgage in principle, my partner not knowing much about mortgages he was very helpful in explaining the process and costs and what would work for our budget. Although the house purchase took longer than expected Ansar was there to assist along the way with any queries, he has also assisted us with finding life insurance. Great company when looking for a mortgage deal. I had finished a relationship after shortly buying our first home! Very awkward! Complex circumstances but now in our new home! We recently returned to the UK after a long stretch abroad. Despite having a very decent deposit we struggled to get a mortgage through our bank and other lenders due to a small settled default and the fact that I’m self-employed and didn’t have the required 3-years accounts or address history. After trying another mortgage advisor – several weeks wasted, same result – we contacted We Know Mortgages with little hope of a positive outcome. Ansar and his team were incredibly helpful and the advice they gave us was precious to say the least. They found us a good deal with a more flexible high street lender – at a much lower interest rate and with no upfront fees! They clearly know their market very well and we can’t thank them enough. However the service I have received from THIS company has been first (I'm tempted to say 'world') class, on both occasions. WKM call when they say they will, they chase the hell out of all sets of solicitors involved (you know, those awkward legal people who are the reason a sale takes so long!) and they'll assure the vendor's representatives that you, their client, are a sound buyer, for whom the finance arrangement is not an issue. I honestly couldn't have asked for more... and I will continue to use WKM for as long as I'm in need of mortgages and re-mortgages. I only wish I'd gone straight to this company in the first place and not wasted time and money dealing with other brokers on the Manchester circuit.
