I found Policy Expert through Compare the Market and Money Supermarket when looking to renew my Home Insurance (Buildings and Contents). They were very competitively priced and advertised their recommended status despite not being a company I had previously heard of. The cover appeared to meet my needs and be approximately £60 cheaper than the equivalent renewal quotation I had received from my last insurer. Whilst I found the Policy Expert website easy to navigate, I did have to telephone an agent to ask how to add our Mortgage company as a financial interest onto the Policy. My call was answered at approximately 5 minutes by a friendly and professional agent who took me through the simple process, covering all the necessary statements and I completed the Policy purchase. I promptly received confirmation emails and links to the simple to use portal to review the Policy documents. The next working day, I received the confirmation letter of interest for the Mortgage company. I have been very impressed by the Policy purchase process and service provided by Policy Expert so far. I hope never to need to call upon it for a claim but that will be the real test of Policy Expert. I hope they are able to maintain my very positive experience so far if I do have to claim. So far, I can thoroughly recommend Policy Expert!

I used compare the market to look at quotes and found policy expert the cheapest. However that was the bronze offer. I opted for silver for the extras as it was better value and met my needs. The process was easy and took very little time. Confirmation was quick too. Excellent service all round.

I have been with a home insurance provider for over 4 years, the price has been going up every year, but never switched as there was too much to check in terms of cover and benefits. This year I spent time to actually figure out what cover we have and what we need. And found a great deal with Policy expert. Their terms are clear and the cover offered very competitive. Easy application process and great customer service too, as I needed to contact them shortly afterward. Definitely recommend it .

Clear and straight forward information. Very good price and easy completion. You can only really tell how good an Insurance company is when you have to claim but at the same time hope you never have to. If I do and they deal with it promptly and efficiently, I'll pop back and update my review.

Very easy process at every stage, from starting with a quote to finding the right package and purchasing the product. Website was easy to use and worked on multiple platforms so I managed easily on my phone’s keypad. Good availability of policy ‘add ons’ alongside the basic packages and simple explanations made the process more manageable than some companies. Hopefully, never have to actually use the insurance so can’t comment on the process of claims etc but pleased so far.

Having just renewed my policy for another year at my current house we were moving the following month, I had to cancel the existing policy and start a new one. Rang Policyexpert explained that I needed to cancel the existing policy and start a new one. Firstly the call handler was very good, she cancelled the current policy without a early exit fee as I was staying with them, went through the new policy found the new quote very comparable. The whole process was quick and very easy, definitely would recommend Policyexpert.

They were very professional and offered me a better quote reducing my renewal amount, so I stayed as it was very good value as Legal & Home emergency cover are included. Organising my buildings & contents insurance last minute was an absolute doddle on this site - easily done, great price, fantastic cover. But what I really loved was when I realised I’d made a mistake, I was able to speak to somebody who put it right & amended my policy straight away - no judgement, no cost! (Basically, I’m in the process of getting divorced & have now moved into my own home. Trying to be a strong & independent woman I organised the policy in my maiden name that I’ll be reverting back too - but my solicitor then advised that it needed to be in my married name as the mortgage & deeds are in my married name - consistency is key!)
