I would highly recommend North to South for anyone looking for a mortgage. Being self employed, I thought it might be tricky to get what I needed. I originally spoke to a mortgage advisor at a well known estate agents and after asking "what can I do for you darlin?" he looked at all my information for at least 5 minutes and declared the best thing for me to do was "get a job"! I contacted North to South and arranged a telephone call with Zach and he could not have been any more helpful if he tried, within a couple of hours he had got me 3 options with different lenders. After struggling to find the right property, fast forward 10 months and I'm just about to complete on my new house and Zach & Yasmin have been there every step of the way with me, going above and beyond what you would expect from a mortgage advisor, liaising with solicitors and keeping me updated at every stage following it right through to completion. I can't fault them at all and again would highly recommend without hesitation.

Zach, Eleanor and the team have been amazing throughout our mortgage application. After years of being told we were unable to get a mortgage due to poor credit, and advisors being unwilling to offer any advice as to how to get to the position to be accepted, we found Zach and his team on TikTok. Straight away he looked at our files and gave us advice to work on. After going back to him in March this year, we have just had our mortgage offer and are due to exchange on our property very soon. I first saw Lauren on Tik Tok, I watched the videos for a while before finally contacting her. It was one of the best things I have ever done! I was apprehensive at first as I hadn't had the best experience with various banks and advisors previously. I just didn't want to go through the process again and feel deflated. From day one Lauren put me at ease and made me feel confident about my application. It was all very easy and straightforward. It wasn't long before we had a DIP and the house search began. We finally found our home, offer was accepted and in stepped Yasmin - an absolute gem and pleasure to deal with. She was on the ball and chased up solicitors and estate agents to speed up the process. There were times I was super stressed about the process, but Yas reassured me every step of the way. Was told by another broker not possible to get 2 year fix rate Buy To Let mortgage.. (based on my circumstances) instead was being offered a 5 year fix at a ridiculous rate.. Seen this company on TIKTOK, able to secure me a two year fix deal at a much lower interest rate. Fully recommend speaking to them at least as there’s no commitment initially. Also the fee they charge is one of the lowest and we’ll worth it.

I found North to South fs via tiktok and after following them for quite a long time I decided to email them and within couple of hours I got a response back where I was referred to James who helped me throughout my journey. He gave me the best advice and I was surprised on how quickly he processed my mortgage. Zach advised us on mortgages when we were searching for our current home, but before finding it, we had a couple of false starts with other properties falling through due to seller or price reasons. Throughout those ups, downs, and sideways steps, Zach was patient and understanding. As a first time buyer Zach and Yasmin have made the whole process so easy. I'd done so much research and read loads of online forums. In truth, I needn't have bothered as I still wasn't any further forward in knowing what I could afford. One call with Zach and I understood what I could borrow, my options and what to do next. Once I had decided on a property and had my offer accepted, Zach and Yasmin took over. We moved quickly to organise the application, Zach submitted all my documents and Yasmin chased up everything on my behalf so much it seems to have sped up the process from the sellers end as well. We started the whole process on 27th September and are likely to end up completing (fingers crossed) in December so it's a huge success in my eyes. On top of all of that, the whole process felt personal. Speaking to Zach or Yasmin never felt like I was being taken through a process even though I probably was. where do I start? A lot of the reviews I have read are based on Lauren and her team getting mortgages for people. we were slightly different..... I saw Laurens video on TikTok about insurances to protect your house and family so made contact thinking "I've got nothing to lose" Lauren was BRILLIANT. I knew I wanted to get a better mortgage deal as I was on the same mortgages since I bought my house 15 years ago, like first-time buyers I was anxious about this and all the paperwork etc involved but Lauren guided me through it every step of the way, giving us loads of options to think of. But the main reason for reaching out to Lauren, one of the scariest conversations that I have had to have, was about us putting into place insurance that would protect our severely disabled little boy in case the worst was to happen to us... This type of conversation is one that no parent wants to have, or even think of. so the thought of sharing our fears with a stranger was HORRIBLE! I should not have been worried! Lauren was so professional and understanding she made the process so easy for us, our son has life-threatening conditions meaning insurance companies do not want to touch us, Lauren went above and beyond and sourced insurances for us to look at. we are still exploring our options and we know Lauren is with us every step of the way. That’s something that deserves so much more than 5 stars! Most financial advisors avoid looking into this area! (we know we have been looking for insurances since my son was born). Lauren was the opposite she wants to do everything she can to help us, and protect my little boy. Back to the remortgage, Lauren found us a few fab options, we went with Barclays included was free legal services. OMG, I have no words…. The solicitors were RUBBISH, Lauren entrusted Yasmin to help us, they both spent HOURS trying to sort out what the legal team were doing it was very time consuming but they never gave up. They explained all the legal jargon to us and kept us right and as for the legal services, had they not kept chasing them, I don't think we would have ever completed! Lauren and Yasmin don’t treat you like a customer, they treat you like family. The communication with them is brilliant. If they carry on the way that they have with us they will go from strength to strength. I look forward to dealing with them again for many years to come.
