A. G.Have been insured for my car with this company for a few years. Insurance continues automatically unless I stop it. I don’t stop it as the cost is always good and includes car breakdown. I have never made a claim or broken down so can’t comment on that. Printing the documents is easy but you can have them sent to you if you prefer. I am obviously pleased with my insurance service otherwise I would have gone elsewhere. Thank you Dial Direct.
T. L.Easy as. No problem renewing the insurance on my van even though i had initial worries. Personally, i would highly recommend Dial Direct for they do after all, a good job with a no worry renewal for the vehicle insurance. But not only that, there is the question of pricing and what we get for what we pay of course. The best possible choice i have made by keeping with this company. I most recomend.
C. S.Excellent. I took out a car insurance policy with Dial Direct last year as they were the least expensive that included the insurance details I required. This year the renewal came in even cheaper with everything that I require, so I did double check (as Martin Lewis always advises) but no other insurance company could even get close to the price I was quoted, this is unheard of for me as usually I have to at least call up and haggle but I didn't even have to do that. I don't know what their claims processes are like so cannot comment on that, but their prices are excellent. Happy customer :-)
D. T.Good cover at a good price. I was particularly impressed this year as I was away in France/Spain at the time of renewal. I had a slight panic when I could not get through to the website to check and download new certificate. Dial Direct very kindly emailed me a copy so that I could have something to show if necessary. Fortunately it was not needed, but excellent service nonetheless.
E. O.Second year of using these. Renewal was by calling them as I dislike auto renewal and this is easy to disable. The guy on the phone was helpful and not pushy. Added a family member to the policy and was pleased that this brought the already reasonable price down. Glad to have breakdown cover as standard.
G.Outstandingly good service. We had a quote for renewal from another 'comparison' site that was slightly less that the original renewal quotation but when we contacted Dial Direct, not only was their revised quote substantially less but the policy included a wider range of standard benefits and with a much lower excess. Will be looking for quotes from them when my wife's car insurance comes uop for renewal and for household. Highly recommended.
Y. C.Thus far I have (fortunately) not needed to claim hence the four stars, I am pleased to state that this is a very reputable company and keep in contact with their customers. They are good at keeping costs down and still offer RAC cover which costs more with other providers. All in all give them a try what have you got to lose.
A. W.I have a home content policy. It auto renews, which is fine as I get adequate warning to change or amend it. The cost of the policy is competitive as well, so I'm happy with their service.
I have not had to make a claim, so I can't comment on that side of their service.
R. M.I'm moving into my second year with Dial Direct and the process of renewal was so easy and hassle free. Very often I find insurance companies and alike organisations employ robots who don't listen to what you say and certainly have no interest in engaging with you as a person BUT today, on a Sunday once through security a really nice chap on the phone talked me through it all and even managed to knock a bit of money off my yearly price. M. R.During my renewal process there was an issue between the Bank and Dial Direct which resulted in a late payment penalty. When I raised this with them they couldn't have been more helpful and a lovely agent by the name of Tanya took ownership and resolved the problem really quickly. I was keen to renew in the first instance as the premium for this year actually dropped (unbelievable in this current climate) and their website is so user friendly it is really simple to make updates and changes A+++++
J. H.Had car insurance with DD, time for renewal a year later it was £12 cheaper than the previous year.. Brilliant i don't think that has ever happened before.. So then time for my house insurance that was with Admiral who's policy had gone up for no reason by £54, so i called DD and got my house insurance with with them as cheap as Admiral was the year before.. Happy days!!
a. b.This is the second year that I have car insurance with Direct. The price is good and the info helpful I allowed them to automatically take my my payment. As I have not had a claim or changed anything I cannot comment on anything further so giving them the benefit of doubt seems to be the strategy.

M. S.First class easy to self serve online having just renewed. The most comprehensive cover for the most competitive price offered for the second consecutive year so I am pleased with the service and product - hopefully I will never need to claim but if the service for claims/breakdown is equally as good as signing up then I will remain with this company for the foreseeable future.
P.I have no idea why Insurance Companies ask for reviews from people like myself who's only experience with Dial Direct has been on their ability to collect the premium, never having had to make a claim from them. They take the premium very well.

Good priced renewal quote which included breakdown cover - saved me looking elsewhere for quotes. Straightforward and no problem when renewing.
M.Overall good service as a long term customer with 2 cars, so recommended my father-in law as he needed to renew his policy.
He's aged 80 only drives a few miles a week, max no claims, no convictions car parked on drive in nice area in Wiltshire, car is a 07 plate Honda Jazz 1.4. Direct Dial quoted him 1.100 pounds some 700 pound more expensive than his existing company. DD need to review their pricing. I felt embarrassed. :-(
A. W.I have just finished my years insurance, would have stayed but I was able to find cheaper insurance elsewhere. I was very impressed with the communication from this company. I used to work for a car insurance company so know how easy it can be for people to miss an email but Dial Direct send you emails/texts when ever there is something important to know. They confirm when your policy starts, when direct debit payments go through, they email you a month in advance before your policy is set to expire so you know to start looking at your premiums, and then they email/text to confirm you policy has expired. It definitely wouldn’t be easy to go around driving without insurance accidentally! It’s easy to manage your policy online and easy to call them to make changes. Overall great customer service!

S.I have always been one to shop around for the best cover and price for my car insurance on comparison sites as I have never been with a company who offer the same or cheaper than previous year which is a shame as more people would stay if they always got a good deal, I never haggle with companies for a better price cause if they wanted you to stay they would give you the cheaper price to start with, although DD was £80 more expensive this year I stayed with them as it was still a competitive quote but time will tell, I cannot comment on the claim service as I have not had a claim with them, the renewal process was so simple and they sent the new schedule a month before renewal so they give you plenty time to shop around if not happy with price, all in all so far so good until next years quote :).

EVERY year, I get a quote ridiculously higher than the year before (with no claims) & EVERY year I have to find time to spend on the phone, getting the price back to where it should be. It is a fairly easy (if lengthy) process, so why don't they just quote the price they are going to give in the first place, and save me wasting my time on the phone every year?! I know it is because some people will just accept it and pay the higher price, so more money for DD, but surely loyal customers deserve a bit more?

B. M.I agree with Brian Rogers' comment that you should provide loyal customers with your "best offer" at renewal time rather than waiting for a call before matching a better quote. I renewed automatically at a quote higher than my previous premium because I didn't have time to negotiate. This won't happen again ! Please do the right thing by loyal customers and then continue to receive 5 star ratings which will in turn increase your business and your revenues.

Tried to cancel immediately as I received a better quote from my previous insurers this morning and didn't realise I had road recovery still owing to me.
Dialdirect want a £38 cancellation fee!!!
I thought there was a 14 day cooling off period and seeing as the cover does not start for 3 weeks disgraceful to not give a full.refund!
Dial Direct have contacted me and we have rectified the situation. So I have upped my Stars from 1 to 3 .
D.I would recommend Dial Direct to anyone. I have been with them for several years now and have had no issue with them.

N.Unfortunately you can't cancel the auto renewal (which is hidden in the fine print) of your policy online.
Wait times to talk to a representative are around 15 minutes but once you get a hold of someone they sorted out the cancellation fairly quickly.

R. P.When i had an accident with my car, Customer Services was very good and helpful, however the garage that Dial Direct advised , that did the repair wasn't as good, i still have issues that should of done, so now i have to sort myself out and at cost !!
