I would highly recommend! Wish I had gone to Lee first, we are first time buyers both with good credit, however the broker that we went with failed 3 times to get us a mortgage ! This was really stressful as she didn’t say why but wanted to keep trying, I honestly think she would have ploughed through the list of lenders until our credit was destroyed. Luckily we said not a chance In hell are you trying again, rang Lee in a bit of a flap but he was so professional and calm, very reassuring and sorted us a mortgage offer in less than 24 hours! He has secured us a mortgage with a 10% deposit , my partner is self employed and I work part time and we initially thought we would need a 15% deposit which meant we couldn’t afford the house we wanted , but Lee sorted this ! I would recommend Lee for first time buyers as he makes everything clear and easy to understand in what can be a complicated and confusing process. He was always responsive and presented a range of mortgages and explained the advantages and disadvantages of all of them, ultimately making it clear which one to go for and applying for us. I also liked that he would keep us updated, giving me a call if we hadn't talked in a few days to let me know what was happening. The reason for the 4 stars is simply because of a couple of minor mistakes during the application process. For example, when I got the mortgage application letter from the provider it had my name but my partners bank details, this only required a phone call to resolve but if I hadn't noticed the error then it would have caused us some problems down the line. This is only a minor point in an overall positive experience though, Lee is really invested in your situation and has loads of great tips and advice when it comes to finding a property and securing a good mortgage. After we had a mortgage, he appointed a solicitor and surveyor that we were happy with (as first time buyers we preferred to use his referral rather than finding our own). However we did make our own arrangements for insurance as you can often find better deals than using the (presumably paid) referrals that are offered. If you're looking for a friendly and professional mortgage broker, I would definitely recommend Lee.

Cant recommend highly enough. Well...this was going to be a great review anyway...and then the biscuits arrived! Lee and his team have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. To begin with we were not sure if we could get a mortgage and were turned down by one or two lenders. Lee took all our details and did all the searching and bargain hunting for us. He made the process so simple. He found us the best deal taking in to account what we could afford and our deposit. He worked out all the figures and told us exactly what house price ranges we could be looking at, and that was more than we thought.
