Thought I had a great broker having dealt with a couple of bad ones, but when he let me down on a purchase, I looked for a new one. Spoke to a few, but the advice I got from Power Mortgages was even better than the other contractor specialist I spoke to. The application process was less lengthy too and I've got to say they have been miles better than any broker I've previously had. Ours was a slightly difficult case which got picked for random audit by the lender but Leanne handled it wonderfully both with the lender and with the agent, who had nervous vendors due to the delay. She allayed their fears as well as ours and we got the mortgage. Raised more than I thought we could, thus allowing us to get a property we really liked, and at a great rate too. They're now handling a remortgage for us. Could have saved money, time and grief had I found them a couple years ago!
