Threshold were extremely competent and efficient in dealing with my mortgage and help to buy equity loan applications. My mortgage advisor, David Anthony, was very informative and was able to clearly answer all of my questions with regards to different mortgages, help to buy and the process as a whole. Meanwhile, my case manager, Corey Thomas, was very quick at responding to any queries or handling the relevant parts of the application. I had some trouble with help to buy, which was entirely out of either Threshold's or my own control, but Corey was instrumental in helping me navigate through it. I wholeheartedly recommend Threshold if you're considering applying for a mortgage!

I completed on a new build purchase recently with Threshold Mortgages. I was able to get a very competitive offer from a well-known mortgage provider. Was quite sceptical at first as normally I prefer to deal directly rather than use a 3rd party (to avoid paying extra) but Threshold are able to get mortgage offers that aren’t accessible or marketed to the general public. Once I had decided to go ahead, the process was more straightforward than I anticipated and I was regularly updated on the progress of the application. I’m grateful for their help and appreciate the competent and no fuss service. I did a lot of market research and they were able to get me a better deal than I could find myself, while also saving me the time of dealing direct – I would definitely recommend!

Our developer recommended Threshold and their services. As a FTB using HTB, there isn't alot of choice in mortgages due to the shared equity component Their services were OK. Our advisor was quite pushy on other products which we were not interested in. We are new to buying but most of it you can do yourself (e.g. the HTB application, finding life insurance). The initial advice we received on our mortgage was fine but we had a few problems with communication once we had our AIP. We specifically asked to pay off the product fee and was advised we could do it at completion as it was "easier to do". However this was not followed up on by Threshold. We sent several emails and rang to ask how to proceed. On the day before completion I was told it was now too late and no longer possible to do. Although a free service we felt we could probably have done a better job ourselves in this situation.

Our mortgage advisor Jenna Kirby was absolutely amazing, everything went through so quickly and we were able to secure an excellent rate considering the current economy! Oliver Harris helped out as the administrator and was always on hand to answer emails and calls when I was feeling a little lost! The process has been fantastic, we did try another mortgage advisor first however after a 10 minute initial phone call with Jenna, as recommended to by our developers, we made the switch and never looked back!
