A. C.I had moved into a new-build and knew that if I tried to decorate it all myself, it would never get done and I so wanted a warm and welcoming home. I took the plunge to ask for interior design help with the majority of the house: living room, dining area, hallway, bedrooms and study. Engaging with an interior designer is something I never thought I would do, as I’ve never been one for too much extravagance, but am so so deep down glad I did and that I chose Jane as not only have I needed up with a beautiful warm and comfortable home that flows, but Jane made it such an enjoyable experience.
She really got what I wanted and delivered it beyond any expectations. The choices of colour palettes Jane gave me to start with were just sublime and she mixed patterns, shades and fabrics that I would never in a million years do. What set her apart for me was: the relationship we built; her attentiveness and responsiveness even when she was going through her own trials and tribulations; her patience and kindness when I wouldn’t accept any dining room solution (because she tenaciously kept looking, we ended up with the perfect look!); her clear passion for colours, fabrics & cushions!; her wonderful tradesmen who she obviously has a great relationship with and her professionalism. Everything was well managed, clear budgetary expectations were set at the start and that clarity continued throughout the project.
I can’t rate Jane highly enough as someone who has turned my plain new build house into a welcoming home with “Understated elegance” 😊
S. M.Having decided to renovate our bathroom we were overwhelmed with the amount of choice we had with regards to furniture, tiles and paint. Thank goodness for Jane! With her help and advice she made the task of choosing the bathroom suite and tiles so much easier. And when it came to the choice of paint she instinctively knew the colour we should select. We are highly delighted with our new bathroom, and would have no hesitation in recommending Jane Perfect Interiors.

F. P.It was one of the best decisions we made, when we approached Jane to help us redesign our lounge. The lounge is rectangular in shape and had a ‘corridor’ feel about it. It wasn’t a space we enjoyed sitting. Jane took the time to help us identify what we liked, disliked and what we wanted to achieve. She provided us with a range of options and ideas, diplomatically giving guidance along the way. Jane did everything she said she would and was helpful, polite and professional. Nothing seemed too much trouble and she coordinated all the work required, taking the stress out of it for us. We wanted a lounge which was stylish and elegant and that is exactly what we got. Jane exceeded all our expectations and we love our new lounge. We would definitely used Jane again and would recommend her without hesitation.
L. B.We recently used Jane’s consultancy service as part of our ongoing house renovation.
Having bought a ‘total doer upper’ we’re trying to keep a tight reign on costs but, at the same time, it’s our forever home so want to invest in ‘getting it right’.
For us the most daunting thing, once we’d nailed the structural changes, was how to marry the blend of old (the house is Victorian) and modern (kitchen etc) and the colour schemes for the various rooms. I was keen for the rooms to have a flow but I also don’t want everything painted in the same neutral shade.
Jane has taken the time to gain a good understanding of our needs (we have a toddler) and personal tastes as well as advising on how to incorporate our existing pieces of furniture and artwork (where appropriate).
Jane’s advice has been invaluable on choosing the various elements from paint colours, to tiles and floor coverings.
We’re still only part way through but we’re so please with our now ‘finished’ rooms and we’ve already received lots of compliments from family and friends on ‘our’ choices.
We’re looking forward to working with Jane on the remaining rooms and finishing our project so we can really enjoy our new home.
P. S.I'm a professional painter and decorator of 35 years, I worked with Jane last winter on one of her first interior design projects. In all my working years , I haven't worked with a better designer than Jane. The entire project was a success from start to finish, and the end results were astonishingly good. Jane is such a professional and a joy to work with

She did an absolutely beautiful job transforming my sitting room and entrance hall from a place that I didn't like to sit, to a breathtaking space that will add a great deal to the value of my home! She listened carefully to my ideas and produced a beautiful document of ideas, along with links to everything I chose and details of discounts. She's just finalised the styling and the end product is truly wonderful, especially my velvet pink sofa! I'd highly recommend Jane!
