We knew as soon as we’d met Vaughan, on his first visit to give us a quote, that we were dealing with someone who has integrity, is totally honest and straightforward, and this proved to be so. We immediately felt that we’d be able to have a great working relationship with him, and he is extremely knowledgeable and gave us the benefit of his great expertise. The building regulations were all taken care of by Vaughan, and he kept a concise photographic diary of the work’s progression. It was awesome seeing Vaughan working on our project with such meticulous care and attention to every detail and watching a Master Craftsman at work. Everything from the building work, electrics, plumbing and kitchen fitting was done so precisely and carefully. What made the whole experience even better is that Vaughan is a lovely person to be around, and is so trustworthy and kind. He built us a new, large utility room at the rear of our garage, and knocked our kitchen, old utility and dining rooms into one large space. The finished product has totally blown us away. It’s fabulous and even better than we’d hoped for. We will definitely be asking Vaughan if we need any more home improvements and we would wholeheartedly recommend him as he’s a top guy! We love Vaughan in our house! We needed the bathroom to be converted for my father, whose mobility is failing. We got a few quotes and Vaughan’s came in as the lowest. I’d seen recommendations for him from other websites and thought he was such a personable fellow that I decided to trust him with the job. We were so glad we did; Vaughan did the best job for us. He took all of my father’s needs into account and managed to build us a bathroom that was both practical and beautiful. It constantly receives compliments and we couldn’t be happier with it. Most impressively, Vaughan needed to do a whole week’s extra work on our bathroom floor before he could get started and still managed to bring the job in below his quote (we’re not quite sure how he managed that!) VJB (Vaughn) has finished our en-suite bathroom today and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him! He has this amazing roll thing to protect your other carpets etc whilst working, he tidied up as best as he possibly could every evening, kept us updated on what was going to happen when, he’s polite, lovely to chat to, meticulous at his job - I thought my ocd was bad, our tiles are soooo straight! We couldn’t be happier! Can’t wait to have a shower with my new shower cap haha! Thanks so much Vaughn and see you soon to do our bedroom floor (carpet to wood) toodles for now 👍🏻
