I couldn't recommend this family business highly enough. The Christou's have transformed our newly acquired property from a run down wreck into a luxury London pad! Their flair for design, attention to detail and overall knowledge of building is excellent. They're also genuinely lovely people who keep their clients' needs at the top of their priority list. A fantastic design and implementation team. I had a 3 bedroom property in chelsea that was dark, needed walls knocked out and needed fully redesigning. They created CGI walkthroughs first of the space which showed me exactly what I was going to get from the space. 6 months later, I have just moved in and it is the most stunning space ever. Thank you to the design and build team for all your hard work, i love it!.

I met 1.61 London via a business contact and used them to design my Shoreditch warehouse (ultimately this project won a design award). It was a big project where I had a lot of money, time and emotion at risk and the 1.61 team gave me complete confidence they: (a) knew what they were doing; and (b) were smart as to where a £1 was well spent (e.g. "Don't spend £1,000 on this fancy kitchen fitting but you should spend it on the following 3 furnishings"). It's property so obviously it was later than planned and there was over spend but everything was signalled early by 1.61 and worth it. I was absolutely delighted with what they did. They are nice people too which, when you work together for 6 months+, is key. I wouldn't hesitate to give the guys a personal recommendation and I hope to do another project with them again - as people you can trust in real estate are hard to find.
