K. B.We met Terry when we used his company to paint a few of our rooms. I was impressed with his professionalism, timing and quality of the work as well as the value. A while later we decided to renovate our kitchen and needed plumbers, electricians etc. I called Terry and asked him if he would consider ''project managing'' everything for me including finding the right people for the job. We also needed our walls in our kitchen and bedroom to be sound insulated as well as one of our floors in the converted loft room to be insulated as the original job had not been done well. Terry was ''on it'' from the start. He was always available to talk to me, came round to our house to meet with the kitchen fitters and, after that, communicated with them directly. When it came to quotes, he was incredibly transparent with what he was charging us and how much each supplier was charging us. Whenever I called to ask him questions he was almost always one step ahead and, if he didn't know, he would come back to me really quickly. When the work started the guys worked really hard and everything was done quickly and efficiently. The sound insulation didn't really work the first time and Terry was really good in listening to my feedback and putting in another layer of insulation. The only feedback I would have is that, when it came to the last few bits and pieces to be done, I think things could have been done a bit quicker but this is only a really small niggle in the grand scheme of things. We are really happy with our kitchen and would be really happy to recommend Terry and of any of the suppliers he used (plumbers and electricians).

Incredible amount of effort and detail spent on the renewal when they could've easily cut corners as so many normally would. Super responsive and stayed true to the price on the original quote without ever trying to add additional costs in. Highly recommend and will definitely use again for any of my decorating needs!

R. J.I would not hesitate to recommend Terry's services. Pricing was reasonable, and we booked him at short notice, and he was able to start work promptly. There were a few bits (painting) which were not done to our satisfaction (possibly due to the poor light in the winter), and each time Terry was made aware of this, he had his colleague come over the next day to rectify the problem. Terry himself is very easy to deal with, and I was felt assured, whatever we requested would have been completed. The job required was to paint a living room and touch up sections of the kitchen. P. S.As part of our office upgrade we enlisted Terry to redecorate the foyer, bathrooms and boardroom in our head office. His team arrived on time and worked flat out, both during the week and the weekend to get the job done as quickly as possible and with minimal disturbance. Even when Terry was not on site, his team spoke good English, and were very conscientious. The quality of work was very good and quoted amount was fair value. They really made us feel like they would go above and beyond for us. A service that’s not hard to fault. Without hesitation I would recommend them to friends, family and other contacts alike.

His team was very friendly and provided extra help during the job such as moving radiators and fixing plugs, which wasn’t initially agreed. Very pleased with the colour match after showing Terry what colours I wanted to go with and communications with him throughout the job were very smooth - responsive and helpful. The job ran over a couple of days but I was kept informed. They were very accommodating and upon me noticing a few minor misses, they were super efficient at coming back to rectify after the job had been completed. Terry was efficient in quoting and confirming when the work could take place, making accommodations around our family with two small babies in the house. He talked through our scheme queries confidently and made suggestions about what would and wouldn’t work. All of the guys were polite and tidy and really pleasant to have around the house. The paint used is of a high quality and the finish is excellent. Really knowledgeable about child friendly, scrubbable and VOC free, non-toxic paint. The job was completed extraordinarily quickly. Would highly recommend.
P. K.It's sometimes hard to find tradesmen to do relatively small jobs. In my case, I needed a small bathroom and part of a kitchen painted. A Touch of Colour came up trumps and completed the job professionally, at a good price and during the limited time that was available. D. S.We contacted A Touch of Colour following a recommendation from a painter-decorator that we had used for a previous project. For a further home improvement project we wished to have a half dozen pieces of furniture painted using the method of spray painting. Terry, the Company Director, replied to our email promptly in a friendly and professional manner. The quotation for the work was clearly itemised in detail. Work commenced the following week. The ‘A Touch of Colour’ team were courteous and approachable. The primary painter-decorator was hard working and flexible in relation to our house needs. We were very pleased with the outcome and would gladly recommend A Touch of Colour for all types of painting and decorator. We have a Junckers real wood floor in our living room / dining area that we now plan to have re-finished in a contemporary style. Terry has offered to visit and have a look. We have gladly accepted and look forward to working with A Touch of Colour in the future.
