We had an incredible experience with this company. Johnny is a pleasure to work with, and was able to deal with all of the unexpected twists and turns as we renovated our kitchen. He did a fantastic job, including: - Ripping out all of the old kitchen, including the floor - Re-lining and damp proofing a small extension that had been badly built last time - it's now warm, dry and light - Installing our solid wood kitchen, including building some bespoke elements - Fitting all the new appliances - Laying the Amtico kitchen floor - Re-plumbing everything and replacing radiators - Repainting - Helping with tricky bits of design - we really wouldn't have had such a good outcome without his ideas Massive thank you Johnny!

I can't recommend John highly enough, he's just done my kitchen (June 2020) and I'm thrilled with the result - I can't fault the work that he's done. He has real attention to detail and goes out of your way to give real quality. He recommended suppliers which were much better value than I was able to find on my own. John removed the old kitchen, fitted new cabinets, cut and installed a new worktop, did the tiling, lighting and fit the floor all to an incredibly high standard. I would absolutely use John again.

John and his team have recently finished a beautiful kitchen renovation for us. They handled everything, the rip out, plastering, electrics, plumbing, flooring, fit out, tiling and rubbish disposal. We had a solid idea on how we wished the kitchen to look, and John worked with us to achieve this, even suggesting alternative ideas/options to help improve our vision. Although the overall project took a bit longer than first expected, we'd much rather the work be completed to the high standard that it is than it to be rushed (particularly as I am a real perfectionist and a sticker for attention to detail). John is super friendly, always willing to give his professional advice, and was respectful and clean in our flat. Overall we are incredibly happy with the results.

John and his team undertook a full refurbishment of my house in East London. This included: - stripping all existing plaster and reboarding/plastering all walls and ceilings - new stud walls - decoration - fitting new fireplaces - fitting new loft hatch and stairs - decoration - fitting new kitchen and bathroom - tiling - carpentry Throughout the whole process I was very impressed with John's professionalism. He prepared a detailed quote which was kept to. We met regularly throughout the work and when problems did arise (for instance, once all the plaster was stripped off), John came up with sensible and economical solutions. I would fully recommend John to anyone for the quality of his work and professionalism.

We found John of Urban Refurb by sheer luck after a search online for local kitchen fitters. He gave us a great quote to refurb the kitchen in our top floor flat - and we've been super impressed with him and our resulting new kitchen. He's done an amazing job, working around various problems as they arose, always suggesting solutions with a minimum of drama. As well as his own kitchen fitting skills, John's got a portfolio of brilliant trade contacts meaning any plumbing, gas work, electrics and anything else that needs doing is done by fellow local professionals to exacting specs as and when required. And here's the thing - John isn't simply a great kitchen fitter but a pleasure to have around - he's considerate, tidy (he'd clean up and hoover before leaving at the end of a working day) and totally trustworthy. We wouldn't hesitate to get him to do more work around our flat. In short, my wife and I can't recommend him highly (or thank him) enough.

John and his team were superb in every respect . From the initial advice and planning through to project managing the whole kitchen refurb. They took delivery of all the units and appliances when we were not around and did a fantastic job in fitting, painting, tiling and electrics. They took care of getting rid of all of the rubbish and liaising with the estate manager who keeps a close eye on refurbishment work in the complex. John rescued me from an uneasy situation just before Christmas. I bought a cooker hood and paid for installation from one of the most prestigious UK retailer. Eventually they didn't do the installation saying that some extra work was needed (cutting metal parts and so on) and they were not able to do the job as being out of the standard procedure. I contacted John and he was able to do the job with very short notice and in a such busy period of the year. Job was perfect and quote was fully respected. I strongly recommend him and will use his services again.

I can't speak highly enough of John and his work on our kitchen – we're extremely pleased with how it's turned out. Right from the start, he was enthusiastic about the project (a complete refurbishment of a small kitchen in a top-floor flat, complete with lots of odd angles and a line of cupboards running under the eaves) and confident that he could deal with the challenges it presented. He came up with several ingenious ideas that saved us a considerable amount of money and made even better use of our limited space than the original plan suggested (which was drawn up by another party). The finish he's achieved on our oak worktops is amazing – numerous sands and coats of oil went into them, and it shows. It was also an absolute pleasure to have him around; he's a warm, friendly and trustworthy man. He was great at keeping us informed of how the work was progressing too, regularly updating us on what he planned to do next and what he'd done that day. He also consulted with us on all aspects of the finish in order to achieve exactly what we desired, and left the flat clean and tidy before departing each night. It's clear he takes great pride in his work, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

John was very easy to work with and did an excellent job on my kitchen refit. The ripped-out materials were neatly organised in the corridor on tarps to protect the carpet. He organised the removal and cleaned the corridor & stair once it was gone. My neighbours even commented how appreciative they were of this. He spent time fitting the new components into the kitchen, including modifying cabinets to fit my sloped walls and creating additional shelves from the excess wood. John sanded and oiled the wood worktops at least 3 times so that it had a perfect & durable finish. Many other little touches that made the job a real success. I could not be more happy with the his work and my new kitchen.
