We contacted Mick after seeing some of his previous projects and hearing rave reviews about his work. We were not disappointed! Mick came out personally to price up and discuss our requirements. Shortly after this we had a Joe working tirelessly at our home on 4 bedrooms, he started early and finished late to get the job done to a deadline. Joe did an amazing job, his paintwork was perfect and he really went above and beyond. He even went back over some scuffs that the carpet layers had caused and perfected these for us after he had finished - this completely off his own back which we really appreciated. Mick came by often to oversee the work and ensure everything met up to his standards. We are extremely impressed with the professionalism, workmanship, attention to detail and excellent customer service. We are already booked in for our downstairs to be painted throughout once work has completed3. We won't be going anywhere else for future jobs now.

We recently had a loft conversion and used Mick and his colleague Joe to complete all the interior decorating. We would have have hesitation in recommending him to anyone. They took meticulous care in preparation and the finish is to a very high standard. Very clean standard during work, very professional and helpful. Kept us informed at all times of the timescale and order of work and always arrived on time and worked full days. We couldn’t have picked better people to do the job and will certainly be calling on Mick when we need more decorating doing.

Mick and Joe have done a fabulous job finishing my hall, stairs and landing after installing a glass and oak staircase and refreshing a bespoke hand crafted kitchen. I wanted to work with a team who were dedicated to delivering an excellent finish, using advanced products and who were confident to work with premium brand wallpaper. Would not hesitate to recommend and already lined the guys up on follow on work!

Mick and his team decorated our restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. The eye for detail was exceptional, they spent time prepping every inch which meant that the final paint finish was outstanding. We are about to extend and will without a doubt be using Micks services.

I used Mick on my house and he did a fantastic job. He suggested the colours, which actually ended up making it look better than I could have ever imagined, great advice! My blue feature wall behind the bed switches to grey and the cutting-in line between the two is razor sharp! I have OCD so it makes me smile looking at it every morning when I wake up!! His attention to detail gives you so much confidence in his work. Nice fella too. Will definitely be using again.

Simply put, you will not find a better decorator - trust me, we’ve tried most of them over the last ten years! We live over an hour away from Michael but we simply can’t find anyone that comes close to his standard of work, so we pay his time and travel for him to come to us and wouldn’t dream of letting anyone else touch our house. It’s cost us far more trying other people in the past and then having to get him in to fix it. I guess that’s the only downside, once you’ve used M Skerritt Decor, no other decorator will ever be good enough!

I have used many a decorator over the years and have NEVER seen the attention to detail these guys have. A ridiculous amount of prep work prior to picking up a brush, and the results show. You will NOT find a better decorator in Preston. I would recommend to anyone. Honestly could not have asked for a better job.
