I must add that from start to finish, the experience I have had with your company in these difficult times, has been nothing short of outstanding. Your service and communications levels are off the scale and the finished article is even better than we had both hoped. It's such a shame that in a lot of industry, family run companies with close knit, high customer values are swamped by the larger venture capital supported big boys, who always fail to act on promises and simply manage customers' negative expectations. Helen has had quite a bit of contact with your Justin Whittam, as she is interested in a new kitchen and he was, by coincidence recommended by a friend, the two lads that came with him today were fantastic, the house was left immaculate and they were friendly and chatty all day. Quote, sales and order process was easy, informative and friendly. Ordered 25/02 and paid 26/02. Quoted 9-10 weeks due to bespoke design (usual is apparently 6-8 weeks but due the the Covid pandemic this had been lengthened). We were also under the impression that our order date was when we placed and paid 75% of the order price, but apparently it’s from when the company finalises the designs and send them off to be made (which was 10/03 and over a week AFTER we actually ordered and paid). However, when the 10 weeks rolled around and we’d heard nothing, as communication after the order had been placed was pretty much nonexistent, I contacted the company and we were told due to Covid and Brexit (?) our order was delayed. They could only approximate when it would be. Went from mid-May, to end-May, to end-June, and even that wasn’t guaranteed. And STILL communication was nonexistent. Only time we heard from the company was when I rang them, and even then I had to wait for a call back, rather than someone being able to deal with my query then and there. Following a complaint about this lack of communication around week 11 (approx), I was promised weekly contacts with an update, even if that update was ‘order still delayed’, this STILL didn’t happen. Finally got our shutters fitted last Friday (25th June) 17 weeks after we paid, and over 15 weeks since the company processed our order. However, the fitters were fabulous, very polite and in and out very quickly. Very apologetic for the delay. The shutters look great and we’re pleased with them. In summary, whilst the delays were annoying, the distinct lack of communication over updates and progress was appalling, and even after complaining, still didn’t improve. So whilst your products appear to be great, your Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired.

When researching for plantation shutters for two large bay windows, Anthony and Will's excellent manner and approach was second to none and meant that the 3 other companies I sought a quote from did not come close. Their communication and advice is first rate, nothing being a problem. The install with Steve the joiner, accompanied by Anthony on the day shows consistency and care. The product being fully hard wood throughout (many others were not 100% hard wood or they were plastic) and the fact that it comes with a 10 year guarantee and after care pack, 100% piece of mind! Top quality and great customer service, didnt think the shutters could be an option with the windows as a dormer but they came out no obligation and advised us on all aspects, final product looked better then expected in our boys bedrooms as never had shutters before very impressed. Very practical and look great especially as a dormer bungalow and curtains werent an option with low roof to window, only downside is now the better half wants them dowstairs also. Top job thanks
