What a gem of a shop! I felt like a kid in a sweet shop! Every lampshade is truly a piece of art. The level of detail and the finish are second to none. They are so beautiful, even inside, I could have bought them all. And they are not even ridiculously priced considering how well made they are. I ended up buying two and ordering a special made to measure. As for the artist who runs the shop, she is very friendly. If you are anywhere near Worthing and need to jazz up a room with a fantastic lampshade, this is a place not to be missed.

Although I have not yet made a purchase from Vive la Frog! the shop and its colourful owner made a big impression on me when I called in to see what all the fuss was about. Vive la Frog! is the creation of a Parisian designer called Fabienne and she was very happy to tell me all about her new venture, open since February in Tarring Road, Worthing. Flamboyant hardly begins to describe what this former medical linguist does with lampshades! She creates vibrant, distinctive, unique, clashing, embellished, wonderful shades and has a real eye for what works. She finds the most extraordinary fabrics! Vive la Frog is the place to start whether you want to revamp a whole room or add a new dimension to your existing decor. I love Fabienne's style and will be back to have a better look at her work very soon.

We had a refurbished old French standard lamp that was a tricky design to find a suitable lampshare for, so we popped into Vive la Frog, which is near to us and Fabienne helped us decide on a design that would suit it nicely and then offered to create it for us. We are delighted with the result, less than a week later!

This fabulous little independent shop recently opened near me. Every single lampshade in there is a unique work of art. From the oriental collection to the African series, the choice is endless. Vibrant colours, bold patterns and impeccable work(wo)manship. The cushions are also mega plush. A real gem in Worthing. Not to be missed
