We used York Kitchens to replace our aged kitchen that had been in place for 20 years. Gareth had infinite patience and loads of great ideas which he shared during a couple of home visits and in their lovely showroom. Suffice to say our new kitchen is fantastic. What a transformation and the quality is self evident. Excellent craftmanship and fitting by Gary and Olly double checked all the details before the kitchen was fitted. Between them all nothing was too much trouble. I can highly recommend York Kitchens to anyone considering a kitchen refit. Even though its a big endeavor they managed it brilliantly and it really didn't feel too disruptive.

After a brief visit to the York showroom was impressed by the quality of the kitchen displays and warm greeting. I decided my default beige Barratt kitchen was desperately in need of replacement. I asked Gareth if he could design me a kitchen to suit my needs with only a budget of £10k. He said he could but would have to recommend a cheaper manufacturer than the displays. I went back a few days later for a wonderful presentation. He had captured exactly what I was looking for. So went for it with a couple of minor upgrades. Nick the joiner project managed the job perfectly with all trades. Was a pleasure to have him around. The installation was completed on time and having a past in joinery myself was very impressed with the carcass quality and overall finish. Now that the decorating is finished and the new flooring down I just love sitting in this environment listening to my favourite playlists with a nice glass of wine. Thank you York Kitchens and in particular Gareth and Nick. Just keep doing what you do.

We used York Kitchens to design and supply our kitchen and utility room and we are extremely happy with the results. They listened to what we wanted, gave good honest advice, and were respectful of our budget. They worked hard to accommodate our needs and make the most of the space available. Their aftercare was also very good - a faulty tap was swiftly replaced and some missing touch-up paint was quickly chased up. We do not hesitate to recommend York Kitchens.

York KItchens provided a near "turn-key" service installing our new kitchen and utility rooms. After a little bit of negotiation we arrived at a suitable deal and price. Fitting was excellent. Some minor delays due to difficulties getting some of the materials but I am satisfied that these were due to general market conditions rather than any fault on the part of YK. Good, friendly and professional service all along.

We recently had our kitchen and utility room renovated by York Kitchen and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Gareth came to the consultation at our home full of energy and ideas, and he completely reimagined the space. Everyone who worked on the project – from people at the shop to those working in our home – was professional, good-humoured and tidy. It did take a bit longer than we anticipated because of COVID and supply chain delays, but the team made sure we were kept updated along the way and that the job was done to our satisfaction. We love the new kitchen and utility room – it’s really made our home. We can definitely recommend them.

We Highly recommend York Kitchens. I spent hours in a well known kitchen company and walked away feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Our neighbour recommended York Kitchens. From start to finish they have been amazing. They removed a wall others weren't sure of, they told me what would work best for the space and genuinely take pride in their work. The craftsmanship is wonderful with attention to detail and they come back until you are happy with the finished product. They also installed very long floating shelves in the living room and base units for storage as well as the wooden floor. Lovely group of guys which is really important as they are in your house daily for weeks. We will definitely use them again.

A great experience from start to finish. No sales pitch, great design and exceptional standards of professionalism and workmanship from Shaun. Don't think I've ever seen anyone care so much about doing such a great job and making sure that the customer is left with nothing to worry about. New kitchen, including a solid wood floor in the kitchen (and hallway,) and a set of oak doors fitted to every room. The kitchen is great quality, expertly designed and fitted and I couldn't be happier with the result. When you go looking to buy a new kitchen its easy to forget how important the customer care aspect is and how often you are just another customer. This is something you could never say about York Kitchens and I'd recommend them 100%

Highly satisfied with our new kitchen from York Kitchens and would not hesitate to recommend. The quality of the kitchen and standard of design are both excellent. Initially we’d had a kitchen designed from one of the big kitchen companies. We thought we were happy with this until York Kitchens produced a far superior design, making better use of space, and giving careful consideration to making the kitchen as user-friendly as possible. York Kitchens-We had previously used the Bathroom division of this Company to totally refit our two Bathrooms, we were really happy with those jobs so we asked them to provided us with our perfect modern kitchen. We received great professionalism from Oliver(Olly) in the design and presentation, supported with excellent skills and care from Nick our fitter. We’ve recently had our kitchen refitted by York Kitchens (and also our bathroom and ensuite by York Bathrooms at the same time) and we are really pleased. We approached York Kitchens with quite a specific brief of what we wanted, and Olly did a great job of working with and enhancing the brief, whereas some of the designers from other companies we approached seemed to make a real hash of our brief and just created problems and dilemmas. In comparison, Olly understood what we wanted and gave us the confidence that they could achieve it well. We were keen to use an independent kitchen company because we wanted a fully managed end-to-end service, and we found that some of the big chains only wanted to quote for the supply and fit of the main components (our project involved a new partition wall and plastering). We also found some big chains a bit too restrictive on what appliances and components they would use (only what’s in their catalogue, else source it yourself), so we knew an independent would give us the individual and end-to-end service we wanted. The only thing that wasn’t managed for us was decorating (they recommended a decorator to contact, but no more), which in hindsight we would have liked. Our fitter (Nick) is very good at his trade indeed. He was meticulous in his attention to detail. The project over-ran a little, bit we were fine with that, because it is the quality end result that counts for us. As to be expected, there was a snag list (inevitable) but nothing too major, and everything was dealt with without quibble. One really good example of their dedication to great service was that the hob we chose was significantly delayed from the manufacturer because we had chosen a newly released model, but instead of leaving us high and dry without a hob, they fitted a temporary one to see us through. In summary, we definitely recommend York Kitchens to anyone who wants the benefit of a top quality, end-to-end managed job and individual service.
