Excellent service when my Mont Blanc pen needed a repair. Store was recommended by Mont Blanc online. I wasn’t sure if they could help as they do not retail these pens in-store, only by pre-order. But the process of sending the watch to Mont Blanc went without a hitch, after being carefully explained by the knowledgeable staff.

We had a great experience here, my partner picked a TAG and got great advice from Jim who works here. We also bought both our wedding bands here at the same time as they had a great selection. Recently Goldsmiths were dealing with a complaint case of mine. To illustrate what happened, I came out to get some links taken off a watch that my boyfriend got for me for our anniversary back in May time, which was purchased from Goldsmiths. I was only able to get round to getting this sorted now due to Covid and work pattern. When I initially went in to get this sorted I got turned away within 30 seconds by a staff worker there as she clarified that they were not able to take links off and that if I wanted to get this done, I’d have to go to a private jewellers. I did not understand this as my watch was purchased from their company and mentioned to her that I had a receipt and left relatively upset. I then contacted the Victoria square branch to see if this was the case and they said no as I have a receipt and was left even more upset by the service I had as it was also my first time going to Goldsmiths. When I raised this as a formal complaint I had a branch manager who contacted me to investigate what happened and apologised and stated this would be avoided in my case for the future. Later on in the week after that phone call, I received a lovely bunch of flowers which I find deeply thoughtful. For how the complaint was dealt with, this is why I give the 5 stars as negativity turned to positivity as an end result.

Overpriced for what you get. The old jewellers (H Samuel) in Sainsbury's that closed was much better when it came to price and customer service. Maybe good if you want to buy an engagement ring, but for a small to medium birthday or Christmas present the selection of items (such as earrings) under £100 is awful.

Great selection of jewellery and extremely helpful and friendly staff who reassuringly did not try to sell me the most expensive item but rather what suited and looked best irrespective of the price. And for that reason I continually return to this shop.
