Buying from Ross's is an easy and efficient process. The website works well; in general the payment process is pretty straightforward and deliveries are very quick. Having bought paintings from them over the past two years, I have only once had a problem with damage and the cost to replace the broken glass on the painting was quickly credited to me. Selling is another day's work! Angus seems to think he needs to talk down anything being offered for sale. It comes across as that he thinks he knows the price of everything but hasn't a clue about the value of anything even to himself. Like many owner managers, the further he is kept away from customers, probably the better it is for the company.

I have been happy with the service I received from start to finish and have received many item large and small from Ross's . I just had an issue with my last delivery as sometimes happens it did not arrive at my address on the day it should have , but when I phoned Ross's it was dealt with and I received my item a few days later . Fantastic auction house with very good monthly online auctions. The website is easy to use and makes online bidding exceptionally straight forward. Fees are transparent and there is always a great selection of lots. Something for every art, jewellery or antique enthusiast.

Nice Cafe. My friend had a lovely looking cappuccino and orange traybake. My Earl Grey would have been better in a tea pot. Bag in a cup isn't great. I had to ask for milk. My Rocky Road was half a traybake! Service was good.

A nice change from online auctions. Good fun for a browze and the occasional purchase. With weekly auctions you never know what you will find. Auction staff are friendly and approachable and cafe does a decent coffee !
