H. W.I visited this shop 3 years ago and purchased my black diamond engagement ring. They were wonderful, kind friendly and no pressure for sales. I pulled one of the claws 2 weeks ago. Visited yesterday and they greated me like an old friend. The stone was re-set within the hour. I dont live near, but wouldn't go anywhere else. Happy New year to you all. You are experts.
M. M.Absolutely superb service from start to finish. We called on Sunday to look for a wedding band and the staff put us at ease, as soon as we entered.
The shop wasn't formal or stuffy and you could see the price of the item, which was different to the fist shop we visited.
There was no pushy sales pitch , and the advice / assistance given was wonderful.
Tina assisted us, with the help of her colleague, who made the visit jovial and couldn't have done more, if we had asked.
It was only the second shop we visited on the day and we left after buying the perfect ring. This was due as much to the staff as it was to the quality of the ring.
I wouldn't hesitate to go again or to advise anyone to visit, as I know they will be looked after.

W. T.We went to Jewellers’ Quarter this last Bank Holiday Monday somewhat on impulse to look for a ring for L on account of our 20th anniversary and her round birthday. The number of shops is incredible and somewhat intimidating at first, but we took a systematic approach and went into several with open mind. There were friendly and helpful people in all the ones we tried.
And then we walked into Design Centre. And it felt warmer and more human, especially when we started to try to express what we wanted. Angela and Dave were not only listening and helpful but warm and funny in the nicest way. We felt like like we could joke and chat with them, and rather importantly, there was trust building in the conversation. And then the ring materialised on the counter, which fitted L perfectly and was just what we were after: beautiful, classy, unique - a “Cinderella” situation, as Dave noted.
We know that building rapport is essential in good salesmanship but it is also the case in our own professions, so we can tell genuine when we see it.
It felt like all the staff who were there were friends and they were helping each other.
All-in-all - a very highly recommended place - not snobby, very professional and genuinely friendly at the same time.

Ultimately made the experience as lovely as buying wedding bands should be. Very satisfied with the service and the product, we will come back to buy the eternity ring! :)

Buying such a thing is a scary experience for a newbie! the owner made me feel so relaxed and welcome and went through the whole experience with me. we discussed in great length about what i desire and how she could do this for me.
in less then 6 weeks she had everything ready to collect! i was super impressed!
buying rings is a massive thing and the team made me feel so at ease and comfortable. i visited a number of shops in the same area before this but they were very pretentious and didn't really care for me as a customer.
however design centre were professional from the very start and that's why i decided to go with them.
They fully understand customer service requirements and needs and ticked every box in every way.
I would definitely go back here in the future and highly recommend to all.

After the lockdown ended and more trickery by my wife to get me to the Jewellery Quarter we entered the shop and a shocked me got the watch . A. C.I purchased a gold bracelet for my Granddaughter's 1st birthday. The staff were extremely helpful even when I said I wouldn't initially commit. After looking at bracelets in other shops I returned to Design Centre as the quality was unmatched. The assistant carefully presented the bracelet in an exquisite wooden box and gift bag and I was over the moon. I had the bracelet engraved elsewhere and they also commented on the excellent presentation . The bracelet looks amazing on my Granddaughter. Perfect ! Thank you Design Centre .
S. M.Actually the best customer service I have probably ever received. Pam and the guys at the Design Centre helped me source a pocket watch for my God Son's baptism. I wanted to have it engraved in a partucular way but only had a couple of days to get it all sorted. Pam sorted everything for me at extremely late notice. So pleased with the watch and its not very often a business goes above and beyond to do something special for someone. These guys really nailed it. Cant recommend them enough
J. H.First visited the Design Centre back in June 2016, walked into the shop looking for an engagement ring not really knowing anything about diamonds of what I was doing/looking for. I was greeted by a very energetic and bubbly Pam, who I must say was the sole reason that I made a purchase that day. Pam took her time to help me understand the different styles, materials, weights etc of diamonds and rings there are available. Pam helped me establish the style and design of ring I wanted and helped me pick the perfect ring. I originally went in to just look and gain some knowledge on what I was looking for. Pam was so helpful and patient with me(essentially a novice) that I made the most expensive purchase of my life, and i haven't looked back since.
My now fiancé and I (she said yes) returned this year in May to see if Pam could help us find our wedding bands, once again she didn't fail to live up to her expectation. Because I bought a platinum engagement ring she showed us all the platinum wedding rings. After a short while in the shop again we found our rings and made our second purchase. During this whole process we never felt rushed or that we were anything short of royalty.
We would completely recommend this shop and Pam specifically to help you with anything jewellery related. Such a wealth of knowledge and lovely bubbly personality.
10/10, Thank you Pam. We won't shop anywhere else for anything jewellery related again.

Choosing the most important ring I would ever buy, was one of the most daunting tasks to me. Bina spent the time in educating me on the different types of diamonds, what to look for and helped me find what I wanted within my budget. I can truly say my experience at design centre was second to none.
The knowledgeable and experienced staff helped me find the perfect engagement ring. I was more than happy to return and buy our wedding bands due to the extremely satisfying customer service they provided.

I would recommend this as your first stop at the Jewellery Quarter (i've been to all of them). Even if they don't have what you're looking for on display then can source rings to your customisation and requirements.
